Excellent location service and overall experience. The rooms are very nice and ours has a balcony with a spectacular view of the ramparts and the castle. Service was courteous, quick and efficient. There was only one isuue which was the air-conditioning: it just couldn't keep up with the admittedly Extreme temperatures. For a very expensive room it should have been able to keep temperatures lower. Having said that, it is in the perfect location for visiting Carcassone and the region, service is impeccable, charming bar and restaurant. We will come back but will do so in the off season. Kudos to the staff.

this is the second time we've come here. The rooms are great. Last time we slept in a suite with a huge balcony, this time in a junior suite with a pleasant garden. The service is excellent, The breakfast is really Amazing, the pool ìt is so . Nice cleen & relexing, the bar is excellent grate coktiles & food , I wish to thenks so much patrishia from the front desk. She is so admited to help &find soluthion.. .I highly recommend coming here for your holyday.

This was, by far, one of the most unique and beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at. We have just returned from a week at Hôtel de la Cité, staying in a superior room. The check in was friendly and welcoming, and the team took us to our room and gave us a tour. The room itself was beautiful, spacious, with a large marble bathroom and bathtub, and an incredibly comfortable bed. We had a view of the gardens and the city beyond - and the view itself was breath-taking. Every night we had the French doors open. The decor and service throughout the hotel was classical and elegant, and overall the hotel felt very cosy; it's not ostentatious or pretentious. Gardens and public spaces, whilst small, had lots of comfortable seating places to explore. The pool was quiet, tucked away, with comfortable beds. Every aspect of the hotel felt serene. I could not have had a better week - and will absolutely return. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We pulled up to the parking area, and I asked my wife 'Where's the hotel?' she pointed to the immense castle wall and said 'in there. We are staying in the old city.' I was blown away. The place is very nice. Restaurant is good, though you will want to sample other food if you stay here; many good places to eat in this town. The rooms are new tech forced onto old. The wood floor creaks sometimes, and the locks are weird, but they work. The breakfast is great, and the location is unsurpassed.
