Domaine D'auriac

We had the menu gastronomique on 25 july. I still dream about the food and the wine which was amazing. Can you please share the wines since we did not remember the names ❤️ mainly the wine with the fish as main course but also the wine with the red fish ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We only visited the restaurant. The setting and the food are incredible. Although it is the service that really sets D'Auriac apart. While we struggled to get a taxi the whole team really did their best to try and get us home. When we realised a taxi was unlikely, the manager came in and personally dropped us home. This was evidence of how important the customers are to Le Domaine D'Auriac and I would certainly recommend a visit.

Both the building and the surrounding garden, terrace, and pool have a good atmosphere. The room was spacious. The 1 star Michelin restaurant inside the hotel was very good and the sommelier a very nice person. Things which could be improved: sound insulation with the neighbors' rooms, the power and noise of the very old air conditioner. I would expect this fixed for a 5 star hotel.

A lovely old chateau with much character and excellent service. The staff speaks fluent English and was most helpful in planning day trips and explaining the best sites in the area to see. The upgraded rooms are big and airy with high ceilings and a small a/c unit. The grounds are stunning and there is a river nearby to walk by that leads to the city, river Aude. I can highly recommend this place.
