Small Group Tour To Blue Grotto, Anacapri And Capri

Vincenzo was a great guide! He gave us tips on what to do in our free time and helped us navigate the ferry even though it wasn’t apart of the tour. Too bad the blue grotto was closed!

Fabulous tour. Giorgio was are host. He lives on Capri, so he definitely knows where and most importantly when to go to places. Hardly a line to get on the lift to Mt. Solarno. When we came down the mountain, big line. Giorgio knew the best time to go to the Blue Grotto as well. And then when some in our group wanted to walk around Capri town while others wanted a boat ride around the island, Giorgio took care of all of us. Even WhatsApp texted me later to make sure our party made it back safely on the ferry to Sorrento. Bravo Giorgio! Wonderful experience!

The visit to the Blue Grotto was a great start to the day, then we visited Anacapri, and finally the Faraglioni by boat in the afternoon. Paola, our guide seemed to know everyone on the island, and she made the tour fun and interesting.

Absolutely wonderful trip in the most spectacular water ever. Crystal clear and many fish. It was just a gorgeous day and everyone loved it. Driver of boat was excellent and they played a recording of the highlights in any language you needed

Great experience! Our guide was great! She recommended a close restaurant that was delicious and got us tickets for the chair lift in Anacapri, so we didn’t have to wait in line!

In two weeks touring Italy, we have not had a bad guide, but Vincenzo was by far the best of them all. 3 couples spent the entire day with Vincenzo on Capri and Anacapri. It was like touring the island with a celebrity. He knew everyone that we passed and got us priority access everywhere we went, Best of all, he took us to places away from the throngs of tourists to some of the most intimate locations. I strongly recommend that you ask for Vincenzo by name. You will not be disappointed.

Had an amazing time! Capri was beautiful and our tour guide Michele was great, very friendly and gave great recommendations on the best use of time in order to be able to do as much as possible. Also informed on lunch places that were delicious, and took pictures for us going into the Blue Grotto! Thanks Michele!

It’s important to know the title - trip TO Blue Grotto and not IN Blue Grotto. Tides are predictable and going into the Blue Grotto is extremely rare. But this tour did provide an “alternative” to take a boat tour around the island, where you see a lot more and will see the “entrance” to the Blue Grotto. I understand why tour companies don’t advertise it a little more correctly, but it is what it is. I only recommend this tour with that caveat. That being said, we enjoyed the ride around the island. Our guide, Terry, was great and was very informative on features and history. Anacapri was very nice and the shopping a little more on the local/rural side. This was enjoyable. Capri shopping caters to the more expensive taste. It was much more crowded and not as enjoyable for us. Your mileage may vary. If you like fancy labels and high prices you may like it. The chairlift to the peak was very nice. The views were wonderful.

This is one of the best tours I have ever been on. Tiziana is the best guide. She was informative and so delightful. We saw all of Capri and blue Grotto, and best boat tour.

Luigi tour guide was extremely punctual, giving us a preview of 3 itineraries should the blue grotto be closed due to water conditions. He was able to take us to all the popular sites before it got crowded and we never had to wait on long lines. Our tour got was up front on how expensive it was to shop on Capri and how many items weren't made on Capri. Basically warnings about any rip offs. He was funny and very professional.

Our tour went directly into the blue grotto. We were rushed and felt pushed around. Next brought to anacapri where we were given time to roam . And option to go on chair lift. Had to wait in the regular long long line. Then we left for capri. Told we could go on our own first a little history. Overall the guide was very nice but. This was not worth the money. We could have done this for less than half the price. Disappointing.

Our guide Giorgio made this an exceptional experience. He was knowledgeable but also fun! What a memorable time.

This was by far the best tour we have ever done. Our tour guide, Georgio, was magnificent! Truly made us feel like “la familia”. The Blue Grotto, chair lift to Monte Salaro, Anacapri and the optional boat tour of the island to see additional caves and rock formations was so nice. Learned a lot from our friendly and informative guide. Would love to come back to stay again on Capri!

Tiziana is an amazing tour guide. She went out of her way to pack in as many activities as possible, despite the summer crowds and long lines. She arranged a private boat tour around the island in addition to visiting the Blue Grotto. This was a really enjoyable way to see Capri in just 1 day

A fun day tour of Capri, taking in Ana Capri and Monte Solero via the chair lift, then to Capri and finally a boat tour around Capri from the harbour. Unfortunately the Blue Grotto was closed due to tides, but the boat tour was a very good alternative. Stephanie, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable and could point out the different activities to do in each stop.

I highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Capri. All aspects of this tour were excellent. They communicated with me prior to the tour and were very specific about where to meet. Cynthia our guide was amazing. She was so knowledgeable about the tour and really took the tour to another level. The whole experience exceeded my expectations.

One of the most beautiful and scenic places I have ever seen. Especially the views from the chairlift up are absolutely unmatched. Our tour guide Stephanie was fantastic! She explained everything very clearly and had excellent recommendations for food, shopping, activities etc. Just be aware that on some days when the water is too choppy, the Blue Grotto may be unavailable (it's unfortunately out of everyone's control). But Stephanie did a great job by booking us on a boat tour of Capri as a substitute.

This was my favorite experience during my entire trip to Italy! Capri is beautiful and this tour was an excellent way to experience many of the main attractions in one day. Without the tour guide, Stephany, and transportation, you would never be able to see all of the sites included in this tour in one day!

Michele has to be the best tour guide. He knew the region literally like clock work. How to avoid the crowds, the order in which to see different sites and activities, and so forth. Simply the best.

The name of the tour is absolutely inaccurate. This is not a “small group boat tour”. Due to weather conditions, They said we could not enter the blue grotto that day; which I understand you cannot go against nature. But considering this changed the entire trip, I wish we were offered the opportunity to be refunded. Instead we spent most of the day walking and following the leader as a herd through capri and Anacapri. There was at least like 27 of us, does that sound like a small group to you?? Since we couldn’t do the blue grotto, I will say they took us to the chair lifts first thing to beat the crowds. That was nice. After that they had their own bus to drive us from capri to anacapri and then back to the harbor. It was nice not having to worry about transportation, but the islands are so small I just didn’t think a walking tour was necessary and/or what I signed up for. Then, after following the herd and getting very little free time, we were told we would get a boat tour around the island. So they put us on a giant ferry just like the ones you take to get there with several other group tours and a man on a speaker tells you to look right and left at different rock formations and such. We were extremely upset we wasted our day this way. We should have gone to capri, and then booked an ACTUAL small group boat from the men on the docks. There were several people out swimming in the water near the blue grotto and looked like they were having a great time on an actual intimate setting. I strongly recommend you consider something like that instead of wasting your time and money doing this, which you could easily navigate yourself more hassle free and cheaper.

This trip was beyond good it was absolutely superb Brilliant organisation and our tour guide Luigi was fantastic

Our starting location was changed for us to make it more convenient. Our guide, Luigi, was very helpful to get us the ferry tickets. He also got us to Anacapri early so we could experience the Blue Grotto no lines in the chair lift to the top, and had enough time for a boat tour around the island of Capri. I would highly recommend this excursion.

Theresa was incredible! She had great knowledge of the island and its history. The tour company was very accommodating with our ferry times from Sorrento and no problems coming or going. Theresa was also great in giving us plenty of grime for shopping along with great recommendations. We even had enough time to get 3 pairs of custom sandals made! Highly recommend!

Our tour guide Marcella was fantastic! She was very informative and efficient getting our group to the various locations and highlights of Capri. We did and saw so much and there is no way we could have figured it all out without Marcella!

Amazing experience with Vincenzo! Originally booked a blue grotto + Capri + Anacapri tour from Amalfi, but realized the day before the ferry from Amalfi town wouldn’t get us there in time for the tour to start. They were so accommodating to get us on another small group tour (minus the Blue Grotto, but added a boat ride around Capri). Vincenzo went above and beyond to make sure we could connect with the group and overall had an amazing day. Would recommend the chairlift in Anacapri. He made a video of our group time together and shared with us at the end of the tour. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Capri! 10/10!

Incredibly rude when communicating problems. Unreasonable if you have difficulty understanding instructions. Refuse to even give partial refund if missed for any reason and they will blame you for the problem and not even suggest another day to make up for lost money or time.

Had the best guide, Luigi. He was great at rallying everyone so were able to beat crowds to Blue Grotto and chair lift.

Worst company ever. They are extremely rude and unprofessional when responding to customers. If you’re coming from a cruise, save your money and book with another company. They wouldn’t even wait 15 minutes for us, even though we were a group of 4 and informed them that we were arriving. They simply didn’t care and left. Most tour companies allow at least a short grace period, but they seem more interested in keeping your money and making excuses than providing good customer service

We LOVED Capri! The coast line, architecture, restaurants, shopping, history, and the friendly natives. Unfortunately this tour was underwhelming. We completed the tour wondering how it received 4.8 ⭐️?? Our guide George was very nice…however out of 7 hours, we had more “ exploring on our own time” then actually staying as a group. It started with us taking the chair lift on AnnaCapri to the top for beautiful views. We all had to pay for our tixs up/down. Had over 2 hrs to “ explore “ once we reached the bottom. Then took the bus back to town where we “ explored” again for 2 hrs. The tour ended with us taking a boat around the island and viewing the green and white caves. The blue grotto was closed due to water conditions. Here’s my 2 cents, take your own time to explore the island. You can go to the chair lift yourself ( same amount of $ and enjoy the views), and book a private or ferry boat tour ( 1 hr), to see the caves. This way you can decide which day is better with weather and book accordingly. We travel frequently and can honestly say, this was the worst tour we experienced. Save your money

Tiziana was amazing. Excellent knowledge of the island and loads of fun! She worked tirelessly to ensure we had a fabulous experience as well that no one was left behind for anything. Highly recommend!

I had an excellent day with Tiziana. She was so much fun and knew a lot about the history of Capri. She gave us good tips on where to eat traditional pizza. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Scenery is absolutely beautiful. Seems unlikely Blue Gotto will be open very often. Weather conditions must be perfect. Waves were very rough. Our tour guide, Teresa, was outstanding !!!

Out tour guide was Giorgio and he was amazing. I do not normally do reviews, although he did such a great job I am doing this one. He truly cares about the people he is with and goes out of his way to make sure you have a great time. Capri was amazing, although Giorgio made it a fantastic day.

Great day with this tour on Capri. Well organized day able to see most everything on the island. Our guide, Paula was personable , very organized and personable. She took care of every detail even making sure we had our ferry tickets back to Sorrento. Highly recommend this excursion.

The roads on Capri are crazy small in width. It was still scary with a driver, but they were excellent! Don’t try it on your own😜. Noemi gave us great eating and shopping advice as well as great history of the island

We were able to see the Blue Grotto and Tiziana was very kind in taking our photo while we were on the boat. Very professional and managed the time very well. We had the most amazing tour yesterday! Our tour guide, Vincenzo, was incredible! Request him! Seriously, request HIM! He had the most incredible timing to see everything we wanted to. He was kind and patient with our group. You can tell the people of Capri like him too. He had friends and connections everywhere we went. This was the most VIP treatment we have had on a tour! Lunch on the island was fantastic, per his recommendation. We had seats on boats, lunch table waiting and tickets in hand for busses, boats and the chair lift with no wait! Don’t hesitate to book! Best day in an Italy we have had!

Giorgio was excellent. Friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We learned a lot and had a good time. A good overview of Capri in one day. Not too challenging physically.
