Private Island Of Capri By Boat

This was likely our best experience on the Amalfi Coast. Our guide knew all of the best places to point out and take us to. We saw extraordinary sights, got to swim in a private grotto, and saw the essence of the Blue Grotto without the wait. I would highly recommend for your trip to Capri!

Had a good time taking the boat around Capri. It was spacious, we got many opportunities to swim and snorkel, and our guide pointed out so many sights and cool alcoves.

This was well worth the money. Fantastic small boat, time for a couple of swim stops as well as seeing the island. The captain was lovely and friendly and it was a great end to our day on Capri - also a lovely way to cool down!

This private boat tour in Capri was absolutely worth it! It was the perfect way to escape the crowds, and the scenery was breathtaking. Mr. Constanzo was very friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the history and highlights of the island throughout the tour (in Italian). He kindly let us start our tour 15 minutes early and later offered us the option to extend our trip by 30 minutes for an additional 50€, which we happily accepted. The only suggestion I have is that it would have been helpful if the extension option had been mentioned earlier in the tour. We would have chosen to spend more time swimming in the caves instead of using the extra 30 minutes swimming in a fairly average area near the end of the route, surrounded by anchored boats. One tip for future visitors: although tipping is not common in most parts of Europe, the captain did ask for a tip at the end of the tour. So, it’s a good idea to bring some cash with you to avoid having to find an ATM and pay withdrawal fees. The listing should also mention that tipping is going to be asked or required because we didn’t know that.

Fantastic private boat ride around the whole island! Turn out to be the last excursion of our vacation, but also one of the best we went on. The captain was great and informative of what we were seeing. Drinking Prosecco on a private tour is the way to go!

Great day, great trip! Tour was great from beginning to end. They easily found us at the meet up location, took us a short walk away to the boat, and saw us off. Our tour guide/boat operator was welcoming, explained our trip in advance, and was amazing at maneuvering the boat while out on the water.

Even though the bad weather canceled our boat Mr. Costanzo was very kind to us. Capri is a beautiful island to see from the water

My wife and I did this tour and although the weather wasn’t the best, the tour was amazing. The guides did an amazing job and the whole experience was incredible.

We took a private two-hour boat tour with Ciro, which proved to be the perfect duration for our visit, as we preferred not to wait in line for the Blue Grotto. The meeting point was clearly indicated and easy to locate with the directions provided. We were fortunate to have excellent weather and calm sea conditions throughout the excursion. For those who are prone to motion sickness, I would recommend taking Dramamine beforehand to ensure a comfortable experience. Our skipper, Ciro, was highly professional, knowledgeable, and skillful in navigating the boat, allowing us to get close to key landmarks and enjoy the beautiful coastal views. Overall, it was a seamless and thoroughly enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend.

Had a fantastic trip around the island. I originally had it scheduled for a Tuesday but there was a storm forecast for that day so I was easily able to reschedule to the following Thursday. Meeting place was easy to find and I received a confirmation message the previous day. Our captain was great, both in running the boat and filling us in on what we were seeing. Was able to see all the major sites around the island up close and take a swim break in the middle. Would definitely recommend.

Giuseppe was our guide and he was really great and very knowledgeable about the island. We booked the two hour tour and it was very worth it! We got to stop and swim for a bit and cruise around the entire island. Seeing the Faraglioni Rocks was a highlight, and we even got to stop for a photo op there. I would definitely recommend!

The overall experience was amazing — you get to see all the listed spots, and the skipper was very punctual. We are giving 4 stars because our trip ended 20 minutes early than the booked (3 hours).

This was a quick and easy way to tour around the entire island of Capri, especially if you have limited time. Our captain, Ciro, was friendly and made us feel comfortable as soon as we stepped on board. The trip started on time, finding the meeting location was easy with clear directions and we were dropped off exactly two hours later. We were able to swim into the turquoise cave and Ciro narrated what we were seeing for most of the trip and took great family photos for us. In the future we would love to return to Capri and spend a full day on the water and would not hesitate to use this company again. Thank you!

Fantastic 2 hour cruise. Our boat captain Max listened to what our preferences were, and used the time well. Clean boat, cold drinks, sun and shade seating. We included a short swim. Definitely worth doing.

This is so worth it! We had the 3 hour experience and honestly I think this is the best deal for a private tour. Marco the skipper/captain was so lovely and friendly. The boat was gorgeous wow, seeing Capri this way was my dream! We stopped at all the known areas and my favourite part was the snorkelling! I didn’t think the blue grotto was worth it, slightly underwhelming but that’s a separate thing you do once you arrive, the boat doesn’t take you in they wait for you. I was hoping to purchase some wine to enjoy on the boat but I think I should have said before that I want to have some. My friend and I enjoyed every moment of it, a great end to a trip!

We booked this excursion last minute after not knowing what to do in Capri and WOW this was the best choice ever. Massimo was a wonderful captain, he made the ride so enjoyable and was knowledgeable. He took us to every cave, allowed for swimming stops and pictures. This was an amazing day. Communication was great. The contacted me via WhatsApp the day before and morning of. We came on this tour last minute booking for our honeymoon in Amalfi coast and it was fantastic! We were met by our tour guide and guided to the boat and met our captain. We only did a two hour tour so missed the blue grotto because of wait times. Other than that the other caves were beautiful and we enjoyed our time and he even took a great photo of us

10 out of 10. Book this one for the 3 hour. Very clean and comfortable boat. Our captain Ciro was amazing. He hit all of the caves, grottos and landmarks. Explained each one in detail. He took the boat into each cave!!! I mean in the caves. Literally. Lastly he is a great photographer. Took awesome pictures and even took different angles and zoomed in and out to ensure we got the best photos possible. We travel the world and this is now in our top 3.

The views were unbelievable! The skipper did a good job explaining different landmarks and was knowledgeable about the isle. The private boat is definitely worth the cost. It was easy to communicate via WhatsApp and the boat was perfect for our family of 4.

Excellent private boat tour around Capri. Piatro was our guide… young and not much on speaking English but we aren’t much on speaking Italian so we used a translator app and got by. We toured the Blue Grotto… worth the ferry ride and price of admission. Highly recommended this Viator vendor.

It was good, not great. I’ve been on other tours of the island and they were better. It’s a great option for the price, but if you have 4+ people I would get a bigger boat. The sea was a bit rough for this size boat. Overall good and a nice tour guide, but a bigger faster boat will allow you to see more of the island inlets and coves / the areas that make Capri so beautiful. Could not truly explore Capri on this size boat but it was still a good experience.

We did this boat tour yesterday and it was absolutely amazing! Everything was smooth and well organized. Our skipper was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared interesting facts about Capri as we cruised around the island. The views were stunning—from dramatic cliffs and sea caves to the famous Faraglioni rocks. Even though the water was too cold to swim, we thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful ride and the incredible scenery. The boat was clean and comfortable which made the experience even more enjoyable. A fantastic way to see Capri—highly recommended!

Fabulous experience, great to be out on a private boat and visit the blue grotto. The captain was a great laugh, took us to a great swimming spot and told us lots about the island.

Coordinating (relatively last minute) was a breeze with Costanzo. The boat was beautiful and the captain was extremely friendly / knowledgeable. Only regret is not staying overnight (for a few nights) to really explore the island more.

It was a smaller boat and good sized swells, but we LOVED it and always felt safe. MUST do this trip to see the grottos and beautiful cliffs from the water!

Do NOT ORDER FROM THIS GUY He came pick us up 20 min later, we supposed to start at 10 am he pick us at 10:20 the tour should be for 2 hours we been only 1:30 min. It’s included water The captan never offered us the water but he drinks our water from the cooler. Find somebody else even is will be more expensive!

Beware when you book with Mr. Costanzo. There was bad weather through the night before our trip was scheduled. The ferry from Amalfi to Capri was cancelled. The concierge at our hotel tried calling Mr. Costanzo to find out if we could get on a later ferry and start the boat trip late as we had no way to get to Capri until ferries were running. Concierge called for one an hour and he did not answer his phone. This is a number he had given to us. Finally we received a message the tour could not go forward and if we wanted we can have a tour in the afternoon for an additional 400 Euro! Stay away from this tour company at all costs.

Great tour that goes around the whole island with stops at the popular spots! Mr. Costanzo was very accommodating to reschedule when the weather was bad and great with communication.

We enjoyed our private boat tour. It was a beautiful day. We had fun getting to know the skipper and the tour guide while learning about the beautiful island of Capri. The guys swam in the Bay of Naples while we girls caught some rays on the boat. Could have used some music but other than that it was an amazing experience and well worth the money.

Capri is a great one day trip if the seas are calm and the sky is blue. The views from the island hillsides are magical. Negatives: too many tourists; too many gift shops; the seas if they are rough can make for a very rough trip across to the island on a small boat.

We had a spectacular tour! Our driver was so nice and made sure we were comfortable and took amazing pictures for us without us even having to ask! He showed us all the sights and was very helpful! I would book with them again!
