Allesandro is an excelent skipper. Pleasant and hospitable. the 2 hours of the trip is enough to view the best spots and enjoy bathing in crystal clear waters. Recommended

Reviews
Captain of our boat was amazing! I tend to get motion sick and he did everything he could do to keep us out of the rough waters! He was very knowledgeable and truly enjoyed what he did for a living. Highly recommend this tour.
The tour was great; the boat captain was very kind and described each cave we encountered. We saw the iconic mountains of Capri and arrived at a spot near the small marina where they served us prosecco with limoncello (delicious). They didn’t give us pasta but some snacks after we took a dip in the sea. The water was at a perfect temperature (it’s August). It’s highly recommended for a family outing!
Towards the end of the cruise the operator started outrightly hinting that we should tip him. Things got very nasty when we didn’t tip him the amount that he wanted he started calling us names and being very aggressive. Super uncalled for. We already paid a lot for the cruise and you wanted more tip. Get your employer to pay you!!!
So- to start- our captain was fantastically nice. However, from the reviews I gleaned that we'd have Prosecco and a tour. However, our lovely captain didn't speak any English. So... we had a nice trip, it was really relaxing to drive around the island, but we feel pretty duped on our honeymoon to have done this while trying to use google maps in a low service zone and figure out what we're looking at.
when we showed up for our reservation, we found out that Discovery Capri had cancelled it. We ran around until we found someone from discovery capri, who said that I would be refunded 24 hours later since the experience was cancelled. Discovery capri wrote on my booking.com ticket that the experience was completed (and not cancelled). Discovery capri scammed me out of 400 euros.
The tour guide was nice. The boat ride around Capri was great. However I don't recommend paying extra for Pasta & Prosecco. The pasta was gross. It was brought onto rhe boat in a take out bag prior to tour so it was already cold prior to the boat ride. The taste wasn't great either. The blue grotto was closed.
The weather was great. We did not stop at the Blue Grotto (would have been a hour), so this allowed us to see the rest of the island and the other caves at a more leisurely pace.
Great family boat ride in capri for 6, Giuseppe showed us the views, swimming, rocks and even his guitar for a song. Lot of family fun! -Jon
Our skipper Roberto was highly skilled and offered great ideas and pointed out many locations around the shoreline.
This was an incredible experience and the highlight of our day trip to Capri. Roberto was excellent in taking us around the island and showing us all the important spots. I would highly recommend this private boat tour.
We had a great experience on the boat tour! Ciro was friendly and knowledgeable. We went the day after a storm so the water was too choppy to do the blue cave, but we enjoyed ourselves anyway. We stopped twice to jump in and the water was perfect! We recommend this tour.
Excellent experience!!! The blue grotto was closed but Alfonso made it so fun for us. He took us to various caves, swimming spots and beautiful scenery. The music was excellent and the pasta delicious. It was great that there were swim masks, towels and noodles on board.
I wish that there was more information about the size of the boat for this tour. It was very small and there was really nowhere to sit except cushions that made up the small front of the boat. The waters are pretty rough and there are a lot of boats in this area making wakes so be prepared for a very rough ride on a tiny boat. Our boat driver was so nice and did a great job showing us the sites. He safely got us around the island (even though I was white knuckled holding on to a pole most of the ride). Had I known how small the boat was and how rough the seas were going to be, I would have tried to find a larger boat where we were not so close to the water and had a more comfortable spot to sit for three hours. Again - no fault of the captain! Just not advertised as to what it really was in terms of size of boat. If you are someone who has any motion sickness or fear of being close to the water - this is not for you.
Just simply the best day ever. We saw the blue grotto (with only a 30 minute wait), the green grotto, the white grotto, the arch. All with Prosecco and pasta while relaxing on the bow. Giuseppe was an amazing guide, not a lot of English, but he went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. This is a must do in Capri!
Our guide Roberto was great! Tour was on time & the boat was beautiful! He was very knowledgeable and took time to answer our questions. He also kept checking in with us to see what we wanted. Would highly recommend!
Boat trip around Capri and into a few grottoes was wonderful! Very relaxing and informative. Our guide, Roberto, was very knowledgeable and took good care of us. I thoroughly enjoyed this excursion.
So much fun! We wished we could have extended longer. They knew we loved to swim, and made it so memorable for us. We got to go on lovers beach and a few different caves, the green cave we even swam through. 10/10 would recommend to ANYONE. Finding the meeting point was a little confusing, but other than that… WOW.
We did not take this trip. I received a text at 10:30 the night before our scheduled trip telling me that our trip had been cancelled. They did offer a refund, but did not offer any options of what we could do instead.
Unfortunately the boat tour was cancelled by the operator because of the weather conditions, so i can't comment on my experience of the tour. However, trying to get my refund is proving difficult and time consuming. I'm going through Viator, as is the process, but apparently the tour operator isn't replying. It's not a small amount of money, so it's a little unsettling.
Do Not Recommend. Unfortunately, our ferry transfer was changed by our cruise and we were late by 45 minute to this tour. Thankfully the company was good enough to still take us on the PRIVATE tour (this is where the 1 star comes in), but instead of 3 hours it was 2hr 15min - which us being late was on us and we understood, so was very happy with that. BUT, then things went downhill. Lucky the scenery and views were amazing as the tour guide would only do the bare minimum of explaining. No prosecco or drinks were offered, we had to ask for them all ourselves. We were told the Blue Grotto would be a 2 hour wait and advised that probably not a great idea to do that, which we took his word for - we managed to visit a few more caves, but not the same. But that was our decision, I would recommend asking to do Blue Grotto first, or do a 'fast pass' tour where you can get straight into it. We had a quick swim in the gorgeous water, until we got stung by jelly fish. Got back to boat, advise the driver, no fresh water offered for stings or creams - just deal with it ourselves.... which is what it is, but surely that isn't uncommon. We started to head back, starving by this stage as we got on tour around 10:45am and ready for lunch, but get back to the dock and say, oh where is our pasta lunch (by this stage it was 1pm). The driver was very unclear and just said, head back to restaurant where your original meeting point is. So we headed back there and was advised that we could only have our pasta takeaway as we were late to our tour?????? VERY CONFUSED as we were advised it was lunch on the tour and lunch isn't from 10-10:45am? So instead of having an amazing pasta meal (which we were looking forward to) on the boat, we got it packed up in a bag and sent on our way as we were not allowed to sit and eat in? We did chat with who seemed to be a team leader of the tours and we said we wanted to sit down and that why wasn't it on the boat? He said because we were late and didn't care and even said "it isn't my problem". I was like "it should be your problem as I am sure your boss won't like your comments". It was a losing battle, so we took our very over cooked pasta off to the water's edge and ate it. We are thankful we still got to do our tour as a bit late, but man, they made us pay for it with treating us wrong. Guide was not very great and as I said above, we had to ask for prosecco, water, soft drink and didn't even get offered the lemoncello as advertised. Do yourself a favour, book some other company.
Myself and 5 friends booked this private boat to take us around Capri, we had the best time with the captain taking us to all the best spots allowing us to swim and play our music! The limoncello shots and lunch included were also delicious, very happy and would highly reccomend!
This was a great experience. We got to see beautiful caves, swim, had a great lunch, and and had a safe and smooth sailing. Highly recommend!! Skipped the blue grotto due to long lines which allowed more time on the boat. Great way to spend our last day in Capri before heading back to California.
Nice big boat. We enjoyed our experience but there was certainly room for improvement. There were drinks in a Cooler but no ice so they were all hot. It is a little hard to find the pickup spot at the restaurant and the company was not very communicative. Our capital was very nice.
Our captain was fun and helpful! We had one of the best experiences of our trip! We went in the Blue grotto which was beautiful! Would recommend in a heart beat! Jumping off the boat into magnificent clear blue water was wonderful! We enjoyed the captains singing!
What a great time. Very accommodating. Boat was very comfortable. They had cold drink precedo this a must do staff was super friendly. A plus rating. Thank you.
This was by far the best time at Capri for us, a family of 4 with young kids. Captain Marco was great, always felt safe, even when the weather turned and were looked with some pasta, wine and soft drinks. Worth the money! Thanks Marco
This private Capri Boat Tour was the highlight of our trip to Italy, Greece & Malta. Georgio was our skipper/captain and guide for the tour. The water was a bit rough and we were unable to do the blue grotto because it was closed. He explained why and then showed us when we got to the grotto. He guided the boat into several caves for us to see the beautiful stonework and water color up close. We were able to stop and take a swim for a bit in an area where the water was more calm. After our swim they provided us the best ravioli, bread, chips and drinks as we made our way around the rest of the island. The only thing bad about this tour is that it had to come to an end. :(. I highly recommend this tour and when we go back to Capri in the future we will definitely be booking them again!
It was a beautiful day and the Tour operator was friendly and gave us a guided tour of our surroundings. The lunch was delicious! the only disappointment was that they advertised prosecco with the tour but did not provide. Overall wonderful time.
Great experience! We sailed around Capri stopped for little swims and the pasta was delicious! Cherio was an awesome tour guide!
Truly the best thing we did on our Europe trip. Would have paid double the amount of this experience! This is a MUST DO. Food was great, the drinks were wonderful. Incredible experience all around.
