This Tour was amazing! Our Tour guide Francesco was very knowledgeable, friendly and informative. We were very lucky on the day of our tour the Blue Grotto was open and Frencesco secured our tickets and took us to the Blue Grotto, explaining what to expect when you enter the cave. After the Blue Grotto we went to Anacapri This is the more laid back and less “glamorous” side of Capri but equally as beautiful. From Anacapri's main square, you can take the chairlift up to Mount Solaro. This lift fits one person per seat and makes the trip to the top in about 12 minutes. There are panoramic views over the island during the ascent to the peak, which is both the highest and most scenic spot on the island. Highly recommend doing this! Again, Francesco secured our skip the line tickets and took us to where we need to be. While we were in Anacapri he also recommended where to eat. After lunch we headed down to Capri where we had free time to walk around enjoy a gelato and shop! The scenery was absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend this tour and hope you are lucky enough to have Francesco as your tour guide.

francesco was phenomenal. the only thing that I did not like was that everyone on tour spoke spanish. we were only ones spoke english so iost of the tour was geared toward spanish speaking guests. felt bad francesco had to speak twice about evetything. I cant imagine there were not enough english speaking guests to put us on a tour with them.
Francesco was excellent! He was very knowledgeable and got us everywhere in great time. We would definitely go again.
This tour is exceptional! Worth every penny. A great way to see Capri in a relaxed, efficient manner. It is a very busy Island and the sites are spread out the tour makes it easy. The boat trip around the Island and the chairlift were breathtaking. A must do!!!! Francesco was great. Kept the group on time and together. Best part of the tour is skipping the 1hour long line at the spectacular chairlift.
Marco is very knowledgeable about Capri and Italian history and gave us some great tips for getting around the island. Capri is a beautiful place and I’m glad we were able to visit.
Our Tour guide Francesco was great. He ensured we were early to Blue Grotto and waiting time was only 15 mins to take the small boat to see blue grotto. Fantastic. Overall Capri tour was good. Would recommend.
Tour guide Francesco was very informative and gave comprehensive instructions to follow throughout tour.
This tour was great. It got us out to the blue grotto early for the best conditions. The sea became rough later and it closed early so we were very lucky. The chairlift was so neat. The towns themselves have not much to them except for tourist ships and high end stores. Beautiful views at the gardens!
Francesco is very knowledgeable. Can’t imagine getting around the island without help. You see the highlights and more with great transportation and wonderful gyide that will give you the insights. Best way to visit Capri
Francesco was great getting us to our various places and helping to navigate the ferry. He also recommended a good restaurant for lunch.
This was a full day tour with our excellent guide Francesco. Fortunately the weather was good so we were able to enter the Blue Grotto which was amazing. We then went up to Capri town in a bus and walked though to the August Gardens via a perfume factory/shop and viewed the Faraglioni rocks and had time to wander through the the array of designer shops back to the bus. We then drove up to Anacapri and had the opportunity for a lunch break and take the chair lift up Monte Solaro with its stunning panoramic views. There was no mention of visiting Villa San Michele while we were there which is included in the itinerary. We were then driven back to the port early where the guide offered a boat tour round the island at additional cost which we didn't want. I have reduced the score as the itinerary wasn't followed
Here’s a polished review you can post: Our tour of the Blue Grotto and Capri was one of the highlights of our trip, and our guide, Francesco, was outstanding! He expertly ushered our group to the Blue Grotto first thing, ensuring we beat the crowds. We waited only about 10 minutes, which was just enough time to snap a few photos from the stairs leading down to the boats before boarding. During the trip to and from the Grotto, Francesco shared the day’s itinerary and provided fascinating facts about Capri, its history, and how the island is divided into different areas. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable. When we arrived in Anacapri, Francesco gave us time to explore and shop while he arranged a specific time for our group to board the chairlift. This was an incredible time saver since we didn’t have to stand in line waiting for tickets or boarding. After Anacapri, he guided us through Capri town, including visits to the perfumery and the beautiful gardens. The tour was well organized and offered a great balance of guided experiences and free time. We chose to leave the group at that point and spend the rest of the day exploring on our own, but Francesco made sure to remind us that our tour stickers still provided access to the buses back to the ferry port, which was very helpful. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Capri—and if possible, request Francesco! His organization, knowledge, and attention to detail made for an exceptional experience.
Francesco was an amazing guide and made sure it was an incredible experience! I had such a fun day :)
She was very friendly, funny, very informative great tour guide… would recommend into it over again….
Fabulous way to see all the sites of Capri in just one day. Our guide Marco made this experience even better!! He was fun, energetic and so knowledgeable. Capri is just so busy you couldn’t do what we did on your own.
Marco was an excellent guide! Got us to everything with time to enjoy the tour Really enjoy this whole tour, I definitely recommend this
A wonderful way to see Capri - Marco was an educational guide and quite adept at securing transportation in chaos that requires insider networks! The tour was accommodating of our late arrival from Positano due to ferry schedules and we were happy to substitute a cruise around the island for the Blue Grotto experience.
It was a wonderful experience on the island. Our tour guide Francesco was so knowledgeable. We disappointed that we weren’t able to get to the blue grotto, but they made up for it with a trip around the island which was breathtaking. I highly suggest anyone who is interested in going to the island to take this tour.
Francesco was a wonderful guide! He was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting. He was able to help us get tickets to the chair lift to ensure we were able to get something to eat and be able to meet back up in time for the boat tour. Unfortunately the blue grotto was closed but the boat tour around the island was fantastic with lots of opportunities to take photos.
The ferry ride over to the island was rough, but once we got there it was a good experience. We explored shopping and having a bite to eat. Anacapri, was especially nice and enjoyed the chairlift ride to the very top - great views.
Tour started off entertaining. We reached our first destination and the was given about an 45 mins to explore on our own (garden). Reached the next destination and again more time on our own (city shopping area). Drive to our next destination- more time on our own. Why did we need a tour guide? I didn’t mind, because I prefer being with my person alone anyway- but if you want a tour guide- this is not for you. Worst part was that the Blue Grotto was closed due to the weather- which we knew was a passibility, however we were told that if we skipped the boat tour around the island- we would be refunded the blue grotto tickets since they had to instead purchase the boat tickets. Us and another couple chose the refund (I already took a boat to Capri for this “tour” which was about $50 each way. I never received the refund- doubt I ever will… and if that was the case I definitely would have taken the boat ride around the island. It says an 8 hour tour. We met at 8:45 and my tour was done at 1:32pm (I looked at the time as I walked away from the boat). Even if I would have done the boat it still was nowhere near 8 hours. This was a half day tour at most and again- 85% of the time I was alone with my partner and not on any type of tour. Skip the booking and just explore the island on your own. Gonna fight for some type of refund because honestly this was terrible- and I was told by Marco the tour guide that a partial refund would be given!
The experience was amazing! Gorgeous views! We didn’t feel rushed during the entire tour. Our tour guide was informative and helpful. He was very helpful because we actually missed a boat to catch to mine and my sister’s original tickets. We messaged him through WhatsApp and he responded quickly and helped us by changing the times to a different time range and we were able to join another group without having to pay more or lose out on the money we spent. I highly recommend this! Especially if it’s your first time in Italy.
This was an extraordinary trip with an extraordinary guide! Marco was our guide and he is everything you want in a guide: knowledgeable, kind, helpful and has a great sense of humor! Our first stop was the Blue Grotto and we were fortunate to actually go into it! It was BEAUTIFUL and an experience we'll always remember. Next Marco took us to Capri and Anacapri. It was another stellar experience and Marco was a great narrator! This is an adventure that is a must. And especially with Marco as your guide!
Must be timely in the morning to get to the Blue Grotto early. Marco, our guide was excellent, he knew how to get us there and into the grotto pretty quickly and easily. He also rearranged the day to avoid major crowds and has all the connections to help you see and do everything you want!
Excellent tour, excellent guide Marco. Would recommend to friends and family
What a fabulous tour this was - our tour guide Francesco was superb! Very knowledgeable about the island of Capri and was passionate about his job. He also was able to get us into The Blue Grotto which is not always available due to weather conditions! This tour gave us an overall tour of the island - so beautiful! A must do if you are planning to visit Capri or the surrounding islands
What an amazing day - thank you to our fantastic guide, Pasquale who was informative, friendly and helpful !!
An incredible Capri experience from start to finish. The views were breathtaking, the guides were knowledgeable, and every moment felt effortless and memorable. The entire day was perfectly organized, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy the island’s beauty. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a smooth, unforgettable Capri adventure.
We really enjoyed our visit to the island and all of the very beautiful places we were able to visit. Marco our guide was amazing! He was very personable and knowledgeable about the Island and all the places we visited. He had lots of stories! We really enjoyed our boat tour around the island since we were unable to visit the blue grotto due to the sea conditions.. He what’s super helpful to help us secure the ferry from Sorrento and find our way back to the city center with an elevator instead of having to climb 1 million stairs.
Marco is fantastic. The tour hits all the spots you need to see in Capri, and Marco does a great job at pointing things out about the locals during the tour that you otherwise wouldn’t notice as a tourist. We had inclement weather during our tour, and Marco did a nice job shuffling our itinerary to plan around it.
We really enjoyed our tour of Capri which included a visit to Anacapri, the blue Grotto and Capri. We had time to go up the funicular which was a great view but not enough time to see the villa in Anacapri which was a bit disappointing. The Blue Grotto was cool but a bit of a crazy place and if the line is crazy, not sure if it is worth it. Our guide, Marco, was knowledgeable, organized and very amusing. Overall this tour is a good way to get an overview of Capri. I wish I’d had another hour on my own in Anacapri. Navigating the island without a tour would be very difficult. Also, we met the group on Capri —took a ferry from Sorrento; it left at 8 am and since we were staying in Praiano, it required an expensive taxi ride as there was no early bus to Sorrento so plan the transportation carefully!
We met our guide Macro in the morning and from then on we knew it would be a good day. His knowledge and passion for the island and the surrounding area was only matched by the beauty of the place. I can’t recommend this tour and its guide highly enough. We like it and Marco so much we booked on a night tour of Sorrento with him and was once again glad we did. Ciao Ciao family Marco
Marco was excellent! I highly recommend this tour. He took care of everything and we all enjoyed the day. I had visited Capri and the Blue Grotto by myself a long time ago and yes, it could be cheaper that way, but this was far more enjoyable this time with everything taken care of. The tour was an excellent value.
Marco is an excellent guide. He kept tour on schedule and made what could have been very confusing venues easy for first time visitors to Capri.
Fantastic location!! Steps from the ferry. The host was very friendly, super clean apartment. I would highly recommend staying here
The Blue Grotto was gorgeous, as was the island of Capri. It does involve alot of walking so wear the soft shoes! Our guide, Rosella was the best!!
Excellent trip, met group in Capri at 8.35 and left straight away for our first stop the Blue Grotto. Unfortunately cannot remember the name of lovely lady who was our guide, she fully explained sites along the way and fortunately enough managed to get in the Grotto at 9.45,was told that it closed at 11am,so was really lucky to have experienced this. Then we travelled to the highest point and rode the chairlift to the top. Again beating the crowds, such wonderful views. It was a full but thoroughly enjoyable day of Capri.
Marco was amazing. Such a great person, he is helpful, funny and kind. Very knowledgeable. We had a great time going to the blue grotto. Thankfully Marco acted fast because they closed it soon after we went in. He was quick in getting us there. The tour was exactly what we wanted. After the grotto we went to Capri city center and Ana Capri. We did the chair lift which you pay separately but well worth it. All in all, this was rhetorical perfect tour. Marco made all the difference I’m sure!
So much to say about a fun day all thanks to Marco our guide and a very fun, humorous cool guy. He had genuine knowledge of Capri/Anacapri’s history and traditions. He knew everyone in town, and all the places to recommend. We got to enter the Blue Grotto. Marco got us in w/o extra charge but we gave the guy in the smaller row boat a tip. Watch your head while you enter the grotto! Marco also was very considerate to provide local reasonably priced traditional food. We had a couple with two a stroller but Marco was so patient and helpful with them despite their struggle to keep it together. It’s worth every penny! ( 2 days after leaving Capri, I wrote to Marco to ask if he knew what to do in Sorrento; he came through with a list of places and activities)
Marco is an amazing guide! He knows everyone on Capri and helped us get around to all of the best places without waiting in long lines for taxis, buses, etc. Exactly as advertised… and better! Grazie, Marco!
This tour was awful. As a matter fact, it was not really a tour. We just got to Capri and there was someone there offloading us to various subcontractors who took us to a few places without any tour guiding. The “tour guide“ and the random subcontractors didn’t really care that we had traveled thousands of miles to see Capri, they clearly just wanted to check the boxes to say we physically went to the places we were supposed to and then be left alone to enjoy their day without us pesky tourists. Please do yourself a favor and don’t book this tour as it is a joke.
Our tour guide was very attentive and made us feel comfortable during our tour from beginning to end. Communication was very good. We got to go inside the blue lagoon!
Marco our guide was brilliant, he was knowledgeable. Punctual and avoided the busiest times at places . Capri, the chairlift and the tour was really interesting . Blue Grotto wasn’t what we expected , it’s not great for people who are sea sick as you wait to get off a boat to get on a rowing boat and for us that was an hour bobbing about in the boat . The cave is just a cave, dark with blue water . To get in the cave and out you have to lie down as the entrance/ exit is low and the water swells , once in you can sit up. You are only inside for about 8 minutes.
The trip was well organised. Marco. The tour guide was excellent very informative and professional. I would recommend this tour
Fantastic tour! And a plus because the Blue Grotto was open! Our guide, Marco, was amazing! He was funny and so informative. He definitely made the trip! Your guide will tell you about Capri but you also have time to explore on your own. I would highly recommend this tour!
Friendly, professional, knowledgeable and delightful delicious food. We had a delightful experience from beginning to end. What a great company to book your excursions with.
Salvatore and Alessia were amazing. The weather prevented us from going into the grotto, but the tour was still amazing. Capri was busy, but Anacapri was beautiful
Don’t bank on getting in the Blue Grotto, we didn’t, so if that’s why you’re choosing this trip you may be disappointed. But we had a great day with our guide Marco, he was excellent!
Great day! Deeply appreciated the courtesy and humor of the guide. The island garden had amazing views and the Blue Grotto is unforgettable! Also, the chairlift also provided some fabulous views! We loved the trip and enjoyed the song fest on the bus ride back to the ferry.
Capri has stunningly beautiful scenery and the day visit goes by very quickly trying to fit as much into the trip as possible. We travelled from Sorrento to Capri for our tour. The port at Sorrento is a busy one and takes a little time to access as the steps down are very steep. I’d advise doing a visit there beforehand to see where you are going. There is a shuttle bus or taxi service if the steps are too much for you. We had the awesome Marco as our tour guide and his warmth, charisma and experience really made sure we got the very best out of our trip. We were fortunate to be able to access the blue grotto before it got too busy (thanks to Marcos wise directions). It is definitely worth doing if you can. Be aware that you have to step into small row boats that take 3 or 4 people squeezed in together quite tightly and you have to be able to lie back to safely get it or he cave. This might be difficult if you have mobility or back problems. However the boat men are very good and helpful to keep you safe. We enjoyed the visit to the gardens and loved having time to explore and just sit with a coffee and cake and people watch for a bit.
