The flight was a fantastic experience safe and calm exploring the magnificent views across Cappadocia. The rest of the process was an absolute farce and a fiasco. The payment process was confused and one of our party got charged tens of thousands of dollars as opposed to lira and the prices had increased exponentially. The pick up by the bus the driver was slowly and then parked in the middle of Goreme and just walked off for 15 minutes without saying a word to us leaving us in the bus. The landing site was lovely and smooth but the bus did not meet us close to the landing site meaning that we had to trudge through recently turned heavy farm soil and then the Driver had the audacity to be upset that we got into his van with dirty shoes Considering the extravagantamount of money we paid for this flight, It was laughable that a tip was asked for by the balloon crew AND an extra €100 for a set of average photographs that were taken during the flight by the crew.

We had the most amazing time doing the hot air balloon - could not recommend more highly! We had a bit of trouble with transport in the morning. However, Alican was super helpful and efficient. He made sure we made the flight and we can’t fault the team! They were all so lovely and nice throughout the whole journey. Incredible!!!

Incredible experience with Balloon Turka. The best balloon flight I have been on. The pilot was so skilled that the experience of lowering into valleys was mind blowing. Then he landed the balloon on the back of the truck!

The view was amazing, kapitan Abdullah Keyifli piloted the balloon very carefully and very confidently , he was also very nice and helpful .All trip was prepared absolutely professionally , fly was worth every penny spent. Very worth the price! The flight was beautiful, we spent about an hour in the air and went into some valleys and saw the sunset, and I felt incredibly safe throughout the entire process. Our pilot was also funny and checked in with us regularly. Thank you Umit!

Hot Air Balloon Ride in Cappadocia has become one of the top bucket list items for everyone. So I planned my Turkiye trip around the same. I reached Goreme on 8th of April and then booked a ride for 9th April through my hostel. Since there were continuous flights and no cancellations in the past 3 days, I was able to secure a seat for 90 Euros. The prices vary a lot dynamically depending on cancellations in previous days. When I took a flight on 9th April, the weather was a little hazy but I was fortunate enough to fly as second set of flights were cancelled. And for the next 2-3 days the flights were cancelled. So I would recommend to keep 2-3 days minimum for better probability of taking a balloon flight. It is one of a lifetime experience and you won’t regret it. They pick you up from your hotel and give you a mini breakfast box. Total flight time is roughly 1 hour. There are two categories generally - 20 people and 28 people. I went for 28 one and it can be a little congested. But overall a lovely experience. It could have been better if the weather was clear. The flight is ended with a fruit champagne celebrations and a certificate.

Not sure how the ride is with this company because our 4/19/2025 reservation made a while ago was cancelled by the company on 3/7/2025 for no reason. They gave us the option of rebooking the same balloon ride . But if I were to rebook the same trip for 3 people now, the same trip goes up to $891.99 from $616.02. So I think they cancelled it just to make more money.

I booked on the internet a few days before for the Gorem Balloon flight for Monday 23/09/2024 . When I did not receive confirmation the day before I contacted them, only to get a short app that it was cancelled due to their mistake. When I asked for a expalanation all comination was cut off, and the phone was not answered. They told broker/ intermediary Yeti that they could not fly due to bad weather conditions. This was incorrect as weather conditions tomorrow 23rd were fine and all balloons took off. There was no bad weather warning issued.  The actual reason was that the 22nd was cancelled, and they had to shift people to the day after. We were simply pushed out. When trying to get alternative tickets with other companies, there were still tickets available, but at crazy prices. Bad weather cancellation is acceptabele, but again: this is not the case. And simply ignoring your customer and offering no solution at all is not ok. I would not advise anybody to book here. Not if you want to be sure to actually get up in the air.

Me and my friend flew with Balloon Turca and witnessed the most beautiful sunrise. It was truly magical. Thanks to the very experienced pilot and also the whole crew who were very friendly and helpful throughout. Big shoutout to Hüseyin for arranging a cake for my friend’s birthday on a very short notice and calling in for a small celebration after a successful landing. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience from start to end! Pick up was communicated a day before and was on time - we were provided with a breakfast while the balloon was being filled with air. The ride itself was smooth and so much fun - views were incredible!! Landing was smooth as well and we were brought back to our hotel post a alcohol-free champagne celebration! Recommended for anyone thinking to book the tour.

We took the hot air balloon ride with Balloon Turca, the staff is very professional and our pilot Abdullah was amazing, he has many years of experience. The views are breathtaking and the experience incredible!! This is a must do in Cappadoccia.

Me nd wife took a baloon ride with baloonturka. Had a memorable nd amazing trip. Had a great time the time specially the pilot names Sukur nd co-pilot Mustufa. The showed best views of the valley nd had a great experience. Try once with this company while you visit cappadocia.

Amazing experience. It is a must do activity in cappadocia. Pick up at hotel arrived earlier than what is aggreed, which is better than being late. The views above are stunning. I just hope next time the 360° video will be free.

It was an incredible once in a lifetime experience. The view from all around was amazing. Our pilot Abdullah was very professional, friendly and kind. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything beautifully and gave us a clear history lesson:) Turco Baloon picked us up from the hotel on time, serve breakfast, amazing baloon ride and a celebration with the champagne at the end. Good company, great air balloon ride, Captain/Pilot Abdullah Keyifli was a great pilot and kept us safe. There isnt a great explanation on how to sand safely, so just make sure you ask him to repeat himself so you know the procedure prior to taking off.

To keep it sweet and short I have to say that the entire experience and operation from the entire crew was exceptional and professional. The pilot, Meltem and her co-pilot were clearly professionals and worked well together. The flight path we took and overall views we saw today seriously blew my mind. It is a smooth ride from take-off to landing. We had about 45 minutes flight time, but within that 45 minutes we were up 1600ft and also down in the valleys feet away from the rock formations. BOOK IT and have fun!

It was clearly mentioned in the plan that we ll get to see the sunrise froM the balloon but due to their delayed plan we missed it , its was not a magical experience unlike what we heard. Either the whole HAB was overrated or their way of providing us the experience wasn’t fair. Basically we gave 200 euros for something that deserved hardly 50 euros

We had a great flight experience with pilot Ersoy. We gave us a safety briefing, was clearly hugely skilled and our flight was very smooth. We saw the sunrise over fairy chimneys, along with another 150 hot air balloons. Just a wonderful once in a lifetime experience!

Another company canceled our reservation without notice and we were extremely disappointed. We spent a lot effort but finally our hotel found Balloon Turca for the same day. This was once in a lifetime experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the captain was experienced, friendly and funny. I strongly recommend this company

Really nice time and great experience. The pilot Ersoy Ucar was the best ,he made you feel safe . The champagne ceremony and the story back of it made the trip unforgettable.

Unreal experience. The whole crew was very friendly to start with, everyone was smiling. The captain himself was very composed and collected, guided everyone through the steps of flight and identified all the points. The champagne party to top it all off! 🍾💯

The pickup from the hotel was 30 minutes later than the scheduled time. The flight lasted a maximum of 40 minutes, although at takeoff and landing the other balloons were still in the air and all online reviews for balloon flights say that the flight time is at least one hour. There were a lot of stops on the way to our location, even though it was the first location where it should have stopped. The first time he asked us for 300 euros per person, which was extremely much, he left it at 250 euros "because of the short booking". For the experience 250 euros is extremely expensive, make a reservation 2-3 months in advance and do not pay more than 150 - 170 euros. Be aware that a balloon has 28 seats and there is extremely little space in which you can sit. The view is stunning if you catch it before sunrise, which won't happen with Turca.

A must do thing while visiting Cappadocia.Memorable experience, not to be missed. It was very safe and enjoyable.

I absolutely loved this! I’m scared of flying and heights so was pretty nervous but being in the hot air balloon was honestly so calming and I’m so glad I did it. Our pilot Meltem was amazing and really funny. Definitely recommend!

On a whim, we booked an early morning hot air balloon flight over Pamukkale. My husband really wanted to go and I was ambivalent, but it was a wonderful experience. Very professional pilots and capable balloon handling. We flew down into Pamukkale and then up into the surrounding countryside. It was fun, interesting, and a great way to start the day. So glad we went!

Unfortunately, they made us leave too late, we were the last ones and we went up when the sun had already risen for a while. They came to pick us up (10 people) at the hotel at 6 in the morning (too late in my opinion), we wasted time going to pick up another group of 6 people of another nationality and located in another area of the town. When we arrived the hot air balloon was not ready yet!! On board we were crushed against each other, perhaps too many? In short, spent a lot of money (810 euros because there were three of us) for not being able to enjoy and photograph the landscape before sunrise !!!! Experience not to be recommended with this operator.

A truly unique experience with a kind and experienced team that organizes everything down to the last detail, the pilot (Kamil Aktan) was truly amazing in flying up to 1 km high and skimming fairy chimneys and basins on the hills. The sunset from the sky in the midst of a breathtaking panorama and among many dozens of hot air balloons must be experienced once in a lifetime!

First I want to say it was a nice experience. Our pilot knew how to calm down passengers, show them exactly where to go, and present with a friendly attitude. It showed us how experienced he is, especially when a passenger changes his mind and wants to land at the last minute, by helping him beat his fears. But if you asked us how to improve this experience from our perspective, I would say a little more professionalism could be added. The language used to accommodate passengers during departure was rude both to the gang and to the passengers. A more courteous and professional language will remove the tense on departure that negatively impacts the passenger experience. The second thing about this professionalism issue occurred when I and my companion put me in the cart. Pilots are the ones who have the right to say when it comes to how passengers are positioned and how to ensure the best balance. But we didn’t like being picked up and last placed in front of the line. As we were told, “We can’t separate couples that come together once they come, we get in trouble,” we said, “Didn’t we come together? Don’t we get a couple because we’re two? Don’t we just do that one time? And if we paid the same amount, why would we be treated differently?” To avoid a misunderstanding, I would like to reiterate that the move that misses the enjoyment of our experience here is definitely not our placement separately with the person I come with, but the way we do it. If this is a tourist activity and such a fee is paid, at least everyone should try to be pleased. The problem for us was the lack of effort. If again, a more polite and caring attitude had been used, I’m sure, as our pilot said, we would have continued our journey happily without being duplicated. While we don’t think we’ll ever fly a balloon turkey again, thank you again for this experience. Cappadocia is beautiful :)
