Full Day Cappadocia Red Tour With Lunch

My family enjoyed the red tour. After our red tour, the OX travels tour agency recommended for us to do the hot air balloon tour which we booked through them for the next morning after the red tour. Beforehand, they told us that we’d get full refund if it was cancelled. Sadly the tour was cancelled due to bad weather and since we had our departure the next day, we wanted a refund. We paid a total of $480 but we still haven’t received $200 which we paid by card. The agency keeps telling us that they will send the bank receipts but it’s been over a month and yet they still haven’t sent the receipts. Everyday they tell us that they will check and now they have stopped responding to our texts. This was a huge loss for us and we hope others wouldn’t make the same mistake of booking tours with this agency.

Great day, with plenty of variety & not too much travel time between stops. All as described in the advert. Excellent tour guide- Inured I believe. Very knowledgable and pleasant. Took care with everyone. Great driver too. I’m not personally a fan of stops at leather & pottery venues, but if looking for incredible quality and authenticity, then could be for you.

Great tour with our guide Veysel Yasar. We spent a hole day seeing the best of Cappadocia. We would definetly recomand it to any of you.

The guide Halil was great. He is friendly and knows a lot!! Definitely worth it. I would only suggest that the company is a more clear about the places you’re gonna visit. We wanted to take the green tour but they said it was better to mix the green and red tours but they never specified why.

It was a wonderful experience here even just one day. We went to many places and our tour guide, Halil explained everything in very interesting way which made our trip much more better. He is so knowledgeable and his English is extremely fluent.

What an amazing experience. Mehmet was our guide and we couldn't have asked for a better one. He was funny and very knowledgeable about everywhere we went. Our group has 18 and they were all quite wonderful which definitely helped make the day even better. We went to some amazing and beautiful places so be ready for a long day, but don't worry, you don't do too much walking. Personally my favorite part was going to the rock houses and caves. It was so fascinating to see dwellings where people lived for hundreds and hundreds of years. The place we stopped for lunch was also fantastic! This trip is a must because you are able to see and learn so much all in one day. Mehmet really showed us so much beauty here in Cappadocia.

It was an amazing experience. Halil is an absolute fabulous guide. His wast knowledge about the city, culture and mythology is amazing. He explained each and every detail about the city and is very helpful and knowledgeable

We had a lovely day with Veysel. He was so patient with our group of 8 females. He made the whole day worthwhile and the tour was easily my best experience throughout my Turkey trip

My partner and I completed this tour with Halil and had a fantastic experience. The sites we visited were very interesting such as the underground city, Uchisar Castle, Imagination Valley and the Devrent Valley. The lunch was great and we got to try some Turkish sweets and attend a pottery class along the way. A great tour and a great guide, Thanks to Halil.

Our guide made the experience the best and most memorable. He was very knowledgeable about all the history and very interesting. We enjoyed thoroughly and would definitely recommend.

Did a one day red tour with the travel company. The tour lasted for 6 hours. Everything went smoothly and had a great lunch in newmix restaurant with great cave ambience. Special credit for Veysel who is friendly and helpful. He provided knowledge and background about the tourist spots. Suggestion: It would be better if the tour is not too rushing with more time allocated for each place.

The Red Tour is a great way to see the highlights of the famous fairy chimneys and lunar landscape that is Capadocia. Our guide was the fun Sevdah who had lots of energy and kept our 5 year old entertained. She informed us that while there are similar rock formations and human settlements in different parts of the world, Capadocia boasts the largest concentration. We visited various Fairy Chimney landscapes like Pasabag (now called Monks Valley), Zelve, and Uchisar Castle. Lunch was a buffet in a big restaurant that had loads of tour buses already parked inside. So it was clearly the stop for most of the tours around. Post lunch, we went on to explore the Ozkonak Underground City- which was a welcome respite from the heat as underground cities are very dark and cool (and claustrophobic!). Our guide said while this is not the largest underground city in the region (that title goes to the Derinkuyu Underground City), the Ozkonak City has all the rooms and characteristics of the largest. Our tour included a visit to an Onyx workshop, too. A great tour to appreciate the lunar landscape and rock formations characteristic of this place.

We had an amazing time and tour with our tour guide Veysel. Veysel is very knowledgeable in the history and it was an enjoyable and interesting time learning about the history of Cappadocia, Ottomon empire, Turkiye, etc. Veysel was also very professional and nice which made the experience even better. Veysel gave us plenty of time at various tourists sites to take our own pictures and roam around. He also took photos of us which was very helpful. Wish we had more time in Cappadocia so that we could have done other tours with him! Best experience in Turkey so far!

I did the Red tour with Veysel and it was very nice! We visited several locations, stone houses andan underground city, with Veysel providing excellent explanations.

We went to Red Tour with Parviz Nazem, he told us everything very professionally. It was a really pleasure to listen to interesting episodes from the history. We suggest you to make tours with this agency! He also can take beautiful pictures

We were a group of 4 (American, French and Mexican) and did a private red tour with Veysel. It was fantastic! His English is great and he knows so much about the history and culture. He was very kind and took many photos of us. The food was very good (rare for organized tours) and the scenery was magnificent. Highly recommended!

We arrived in Cappadocia at around 12noon and they are able to accommodate our timing for the tour. The guide was very informative and planned our trip in a way where it avoided the crowds so that we could have beautiful pictures without the crowd. Supposed to have lunch but we skipped it and changed it for dinner instead. The tour ended with a beautiful sunset view of Cappadocia. It was an enjoyable trip overall.

We had our red tour and green tour with QX travel. From the time we started the tours, everything was smooth. We got picked up from our hotel and Our tour guide Veysel was extremely knowledgeable and caring, considering we were travelling with our 2 year old daughter. It was not my first time in Cappadocia, but it felt like a total new experience with Berk during our tour. He is very educated and fun to spend the tour with. Mostly Recommended.

Bert was a great tour guide - patience, knowledge and hospitality. As someone who doesn’t speak Turkish and am in a vast area like Cappadocia, it certainly helps to have a tour guide that knows his way around - highly recommended. Activities on the tour were fun and interesting. You get to experience beyond hot air balloons but about the art and caves in the area.

Our guide Berke was an extremely sociable & informative tour guide. He took the effort to explain the background of each stop on our tour in great detail. As a bit of a history buff myself, it was quite an interesting journey to experience the less known side of Cappadocia with a knowledgeable local guide. The restaurant where lunch was served was pretty great too and each of the stops (the carpet makers & pottery workshops) all offered something unique to see and do. I would definitely recommend this tour and would advise to ask for Berke when booking to ensure a great experience.

We went around the area and saw fascinating spots/views! Had lunch at cool cave restaurant and went to a jewelry shop with gorgeous items. Berk was my guide and he is very nice, professional and helpful! 10/10 recommend !!
