Kaymakli underground city is built under the hill known as the Citadel of Kaymakli and was opened to visitors in 1964. The people of Kaymakli (Enegup in Greek) village have constructed their houses around nearly one hundred tunnels of the underground city. The inhabitants of the region still use the most convenient places in the tunnels as cellars, storage areas and stables, which they access through their courtyards. The Kaymakli Underground City has low, narrow and sloping passages. While the underground city consists of 8 floors below ground, only 4 of them are open to the public today, in which the spaces are organized around ventilation shafts.

The Goreme Open-Air Museum resembles a vast monastic complex composed of scores of refectory monasteries placed side-by-side, each with its own fantastic church. It is obviously the first sight to be visited by any traveler in Cappadocia, standing as it does in the very center of the region with easy access from all directions.
Uchisar is situated at the highest point in Cappadocia, on the Nevsehir-Goreme road, just 5 km from Goreme. The top of the Uchisar Castle, provides a magnificent panorama of the surrounding area with Mount Erciyes in the distance.
Avanos is a town in centre of Cappadocia and famous for pottery making we will make a stop in one of the pottery workshop and you will watch pottery demonstration also you can try yourself as well
Cappadocia is already well known for its unusual rock formations, but at Devrent Valley—nicknamed Imagination Valley—these large stones are the densest cluster found anywhere else in the region and they seem to take on a life of their own.
Pasabag in Cappadocia is located on the road to Zelve, coming from Goreme or Avanos. Highly remarkable earth pillars can be seen here, in the middle of a vineyard, hence the name of the place which means: the Pacha's vineyard. Pacha means "General", the military rank, in Turkish and it is a very common nick name. This site is also called Monks Valley. The name was derived from some cones carved in tuff stones which stand apart. Currently, there is a vineyard and a number of tuff cones standing right next to the road.
Vedat was very kind, with great knowledge about all the sites in Cappadocia. We got the whole experience of area with this tour in one day at a relaxed pace where we enjoyed extra time at the sites we liked the most. Would highly recommend him for your trip.

What impressed me the most was the excellent English (very fluent and didactic) in addition to the attention and respect he dedicated to us, he introduced us very well to the region, culture and history. We had a wonderful day with Vedat Bey seeing the sites of Cappadocia. His tour combines many aspects of the classic red tour with extras thrown in. Communication was excellent...we actually rescheduled the day on short notice and he was graciously able to accomodate our family. The van was comfortable and air conditioned. We had plenty of time to see the sites and he gave several options given we were a private tour. We stopped at a cooperative carpet shop where we saw local ladies making carpets and also saw a pottery studio in Avanos where the kids were given the opportunity to make ceramics. He is very knowledgeable and told us about the sites in a way that was informative and not overwhelming. Full day tour was packed...Would definitely recommend spending the day with Mr Vedat.
On time at 9am. Picked us up at our hotel in Gozeme. Air conditioned shuttle, private tour for 5 of us, including 2 teenagers and kids were engaged. Wealth of information. Added a visit to a carpet making co-op (at our request, not part of an effort to hard/sell us). Provided umbrellas for the sun. Did a mixed tour of the area, all-day, and went quickly.

Our guide, Vedat, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Cappadocia. He knew many of the locals at the local shops/businesses which made the experience feel more authentic and less “touristy.” Overall, this tour was great for seeing a lot of what this region has to offer, given the small town culture and vast roads. Everything was very timely and well done. Lunch break had many traditional Turkish dishes which added to the authenticity. Great tour and tour guide!

Mithat was by far the best and most knowledgeable guide I have ever had in all my years of traveling. Our full-day mixed tour of Cappadocia was already incredible, but he turned it into something truly unforgettable. From the stunning panoramas of Göreme and Uçhisar Castle to exploring the fascinating Kaymaklı Underground City, Mithat brought history and culture to life with his passion and storytelling. He pointed out small details in Pigeon Valley, explained the traditions behind Avanos pottery, and made the fairy chimneys of Devrent and Paşabağ even more magical with his insights. What stood out most was how he made the group feel comfortable, answered every question with patience, and shared information you’d never find in a guidebook.
