Cappadocia Red Tour With Small Group

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Today we did the Red Tour in Cappadocia. What a fantastic day! We saw so many beautiful places, including the Göreme Open-Air Museum, Love Valley and Imagination Valley. A special compliment to our guide, Melih. He speaks fluent, clear English, explains everything with enthusiasm and is such a friendly person. We had an amazing day. Our guide Melih was SO informative, it was really interesting. His historical knowledge was excellent and very friendly. My favourite part of the tour was the underground city which was just mind blowing. Also lovely lunch in lovely gardens with blossom trees.

The varied stops made the experience remarkable! The castle, valleys and workshops included made our experience very rich. We learned about the history of the area and it's landscape and the crafts of the area. The rugs and ceramics were of excellent quality and the details of their trades were super interesting. Merih was a great guide, informative but allowed us our space to explore, we enjoy that!

We ended having a privat tour since we were the only ones on the tour. Melih and Es were great! They adopted the tour to our needs and we had so much fun. Really recommend the tour with them.

We scheduled the hot air balloon ride after our cycling trek, but this company informed us wind was canceling all the hot air balloon rides. So instead, they switched us to the day before and shuttled us from a town an hour away. It was unbelievable! Our pilot was humorous, approachable, skilled, and gave us a majestic ride at sunrise — far better than I could’ve imagined.

Tour guide Mr. HUSEYIN is very passionate and experienced. The car ride was smooth and clean, they even prepared water for everyone. Also, since we arrived late, they even offered to bring us to the first destination after the regular hours of the tour ended.

Wonderful experience in Cappadocia thanks to our tour guide Hussein. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Turkey.

Melih was our wonderfully knowledgable guide. He was flexible with timing and we found the excursions a nice balance between leisurely walks and more strenuous activities such as crawling through tunnels in the underground city. We had a lovely lunch overlooking the Ihlara Valley and then went on a leisurely hike through this valley (which included cave churches and an interesting village café). There many stairs going down, but note that you don’t have to come back up them!

If you visit Cappadocia , one of the things to not miss is the green tour, where you will see the ancient caves and the underground city , including the churches ,pigeon valley and Ihlara valley,our guide Melih was very helpful , explaining the history behind every iconic spots we visited, I definitely recommend this tour if you stay in Gorëme or it's surroundings!

The trip was wonderful. Our guide Melih made for us so interesting excursion. We found out a lot of curious and unusual fact about Cappadocia and it's sightseeings. He also showed us marvelous places for excellent fotos, gave different tips how it is besser to explore Turkey. We had great conversation during our trip and Melih thoroughly answered on all our questions. We also visited ceramics factory and found out how they make their products and great jewelry factory, where all cute souvenirs could buy. Highly recommend this trip and Melih!

Very interesting day with our guide Melih. The Göreme Panorama was striking to see all the Fairy Chimneys, the Pigeon Valley to learn about the old ways of keeping pigeons and their importance. The highlight is the tour of the Kaymakli Underground City. It is fascinating! And the hike through the Ilhara Canyon was beautiful. Our guide Melih was friendly and professional and easily relatable. He had tons of information, and as a local he gave good cultural insights and history.

Among the tours I've joined so far, this must be the best! It's not the easiest, considering it involved crawling through the galleries of an underground city from Cappadocia (Türkiye), but it must certainly be the most pleasurable thanks to the various activities available apart from the sight-seeing itself (i.e. fashion show, tasting of Turkish sweets, etc.). The good company must have played an important part as well, and I am referring to both the other travellers and the tour guide! He was certainly a very intelligent and charismatic person, meticulously describing the history and the traditions of the regions we visited. I can only ask him (friendly, of course) to take into account that not everyone is as meticulous as him with respect to the explanations, and that is why some of us start with the picture taking-part a little ahead. But that is also the proof that he is the person to be trusted on the subject matter, and thus most of the other tour guides I've met before come nowhere close to him from this point of view! To sum up, pick this tour for a wide variety of activities offered whole-heartedly by authentic people in an authentic environment!

Amazing and interesting red and green tour done in Cappadocia. We learnt a lot of things about this area. We had the chance to be guided by Melih who is absolutely really nice and fun. It was a pleasure to spend 2 days with him.

We took a red tour on June 30 which originally was a group tour, but during pick up our tour guide informed us we would be the only ones attending. So lucky for us it became a private tour with Melih! This was hands down one of our favorite activities that we did while in Cappadocia. The red tour takes all day given the sites are far from Göreme so we were glad we did this over the green tour. The Underground City is truly amazing. To walk through tunnels and cave homes that were once occupied was surreal. These homes were thoughtfully designed and built with kitchens, food storage, and wine cellars. It was all fascinating to see. The hike through Ihlara Valley was one of the most beautiful hikes I’ve been on. Hiking by the river, exploring cave churches, and having rock caves as your backdrop the entire walk was such an experience we’ll never forget. And ending with a lunch at Belisirma Restaurant overlooking Ihlara valley while sitting in a picnic hut was a perfect way to finish off the tour. Melih was the perfect tour guide. He was full of historical facts and genuinely passionate about the community and the history. It added a touch of care to the tour that you don’t normally receive on tours and so we are so grateful to Melih who made this tour even more memorable for us. We highly recommend this tour! And hopefully you get Melih! :-)

The tour was nice specially with our guide- "Hossain" ! He is well mannered , helpful & knowledgeable about the history of Cuppadocia. Our complementary launch was also in a good place & tasty food .

Our guide Hussein was incredible. He was so knowledgeable and hospitable. I loved the geographic and historical elements of the tour - as Hussein took his time explaining the prehistorical and geographical history of these lands, going all the way to the Ottoman era and modern state of Turkey. The tour included museum entrances and a nice lunch.

Husain was our tour guide for the trip, and he was incredibly knowledgeable. He shared detailed, step-by-step information throughout the journey, making the experience both informative and enjoyable. Our driver, Ali, was also fantastic—very patient and always punctual with every pick-up and drop-off. Both made our trip smooth and memorable. Highly recommended!

Tour was great, we had a amazing time. I especially liked the underground city. Huseyin was great at explaining everything - I learnt a lot!

If you take this tour be very careful when they take you to ALDAG CERAMIC. They have some beautiful things there but the people there are not honest. I bought a ceramic piece that was going to be shipped to me. All shipping costs were to be included in the price as was written in the contract. When they came to deliver it the shipping company wanted $220 or they couldn't deliver it. I tried contacting ALDAG CERAMIC but got no response.

The tour was absolutely incredible! We saw so many beautiful sites and I loved being able to see how the pottery and rugs are made.
