Incredible experience. We were initially skeptical of the balloons because it seemed too touristy, but we decided to just go for it and we were so glad we did! Being in the balloon was so cool. We got to get so close to all the rock formations and the sunrise was beautiful even through the clouds. Ziya was an amazing captain. Everything was smooth, safe, fun, and informative. We had some less considerate passengers in our compartment who were trying to turn the whole thing into their personal photo studio. Ziya kindly and respectfully made sure we were all moving around and taking turns for varied views of the scenery.

An experienced hot air balloon provider. Beautiful views, very safe. Humorous and experienced English-fluent pilot. Lots of time in air, gently floating over various parts of valley and at different heights. They gave a nice breakfast when we were first picked up, but wait to get to balloons was longer than we were hoping for. And unclear why we were driven to one spot and then another. But an exceptional experience for us overall, with so many gorgeous pics and memories.

The entire experience was surreal. I highly recommend doing sunrise in the sky as opposed to going up after sunrise. Fatih our balloon operator was very impressive. Throughout the ride he managed it with expertise and control. After the ride he personally interacted with the entire group making it a more personal experience. Take-off and landing were most smooth. I have a knee issue and was worried about climbing into the balloon but it wasn’t as daunting as I imagined it. Highly recommend this tour operator!

A bit expensive but it was a nice journey

What an amazing experience with our pilot, Ziya! Everything went great and the whole flight , including the landing was smooth. We got so lucky with the weather. Out of all 4 days that we stayed in Cappadocia, they only flew for one day, and that was the day we had it booked for! So blessed and grateful to have had such a once in a lifetime experience! They provided light but tasty breakfast-buffet style, before heading out to the fly point. After the flight, we celebrated with champagne and cake. They also awarded us with flight certificates and medals! Which is lovely and is one of the best souvenirs to bring back!

I had a wonderful flight with Butterfly Balloons yesterday. There was some delay due to marginal wind conditions, but we were kept informed. The balloons can only fly with the authority of the Turkish CAA, meaning that safety is paramount, as it should be. Butterfly run a smooth and efficient operation and limit the number of passengers in the basket to 16 (in 4 separate groups of 4) so everyone has a good view. Mehmet our pilot had a good sense of humour and maximised our enjoyment. The cost may seem expensive, but there are quite a few people involved with each balloon, plus breakfast, transport and celebratory drinks afterwards are provided, so I think the cost is reasonable. Butterfly Balloons great reputation is well deserved!

An unforgettable hot air balloon experience in Cappadocia! Our pilot Mehmet Ak was absolutely fantastic, professional, and very skilled, making us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire flight. The takeoff was smooth, and the breathtaking views of Cappadocia’s magical landscapes, fairy chimneys, and hundreds of colorful balloons at sunrise were simply incredible. The pilot’s expertise and calm manner made the experience even more special. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and one of the highlights of our trip to Turkey. Simply outstanding experience. Delay at the start, which was well communicated because of weather. The captain/pilot, Mehmet, was fantastic. The crew was wonderful. The flight…makes you feel that magic is real - it was incredible. I’ve done which was really cool, but this is totally spectacular. I can’t see enough good things. If you come here, use these guys, theyknow what they’re doing, they’re extremely well organized, and very professional.

Marvelous experience from pick up to conclusion. All the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Terrific breakfast to start, then we were taken to the launch field to watch the balloon inflation and climb into our baskets. The pilot Mustafa Bizlak was wonderful. He had precise control and took us through Goreme Open Air Museum so close you could almost touch the stones. Then many valleys and across towns. We were perfectly centered for the sunrise abd Mr. Bizlak landed the basket perfectly right on the truck - the ideal landing. The views are spectacular. Highly recommend.

Everything was, although early hours, very well and comfortable organised. The Pilot Mustafa BOZLAK was very professional, exact and we felt totally safe. We also learned he has 26 years and tousands of flights of experience (first local pilot). The organised videos and pics from the crew as an option to buy are amazing. The flight could be a little cheaper without the medals for example ;).

Amazing tour that was incredibly well run. Guide was very knowledgeable and kind. We got lucky with exceptional weather and they extended the tour for us. The 16 person basket limit is worth the extra $$

From start to finish Butterfly balloons was professional! Our pick up was as on time, delicious fresh breakfast and well presented, and our pilot Ziya and his assistants were outstanding! Ziya’s priority was our safety. There was a 10 year child on board and he was committed to his safety too. The flight was outstanding with incredible views and the route both high and low. Our landing was a soft one with the basket landing perfectly on the trailer! Our flight was complete with a glass of Cava and strawberries and cake with the option to purchase a video edited and not edited on a USB and sent via WhatsApp within two hours after the flight. Mahmet was our pilot and gave us an amazing trip. Low flight over the caves and then 1300 m above. This is a must-do experience.
