Day first, our flight was cancelled because of weather but they helped us to book for next morning. It was an unforgettable experience of my life

We were glad that we have Michael of Olenda Travels who is very helpful throughout our activities from airport transfers to the tours and the balloon ride. It was superb! The balloon ride was pretty smooth and magical! I highly recommend the Olenda Travels and ofcourse Michael as he is the best!

Not what we expected , we were mislead by the description of seeing the fairy chimney’s, etc, we didn’t fly with the majority, we saw boring grass fields. Our balloon flight was canceled the day before bec of weather, we saw how many balloons were lined up , we pictured that’ll be the same scenario when I booked this, I thought t this was the best option but disappointed.

Never ever book any activity with QX Travel Cappadocia. It will simply spoil your holiday experience. We booked Hot Air Baloon ride with this agency two months in advance. Shared complete Details, passport, hotel name etc. They confirmed that ride is booked. Finally we visited Cappadocia. Two days prior to Ballon ride. Visited their office. He asked for higher charges. Earlier it was 200Euro per person but now he refused and asked to pay 250Euro. We agreed as we don't have choice and paid too. On the day of ride we were ready at 5.45SM Standing in cold weather. Waited till 6.15AM. Called up agency person as all other Pickups were done from hotel by other agencies. He didn't picked up our multiple calls. Finally reverted on wts app to wait in room as our ride couldn't be arranged. We kept waiting and calling till 8AM with no revert. We had to catch flight so rushed to QX Travel for refund. The key person who was dealing with is was not there. Other person met and informed refund can be post 11AM. We insisted for immediate refund as we were getting late to catch flight. Finally he refunded. Sad part is we could enjoy once in life time opportunity to fly in Hot air Baloon ride at Cappadocia. And it seems just because of MIS management and goof up. I checked earlier reviews too post this incidence and similar reported by few others too.

He was really reliable & I’m impressed because when I gave him the wrong date of our arrival at the airport he was able to quickly handle & provide quickly transportation for us. Our hot air balloon was the highlight of our trip at Kapadokya. We took the private exclusive ride as he recommended. No regrets. Whatever tours or service you need in Turkey he has it.

The hot air balloon experience is surreal. But the amazing hospitality from the team QX made it even better.

This host took my money for a balloon ride and never responded any further. The second day, I was told I had a spot on the balloon. I waited and waited for pick up details and sent numerous messages. No response ever came. Finally I tracked down their company website and finally got a response later that my space was gone. It had been sold to another passenger for a higher price. Nobody ever sent me a message to cancel and my money was not refunded by the host. The host told me that it was up to me to contact Airbnb to complain about my payment. He takes money from people, doesn’t refund them and sells their spaces for a higher price. Absolute SCAM. Buyer beware.

Mikail that works here strung me and my party of 5 along for 3 days. We booked and paid for the trips and were promised spots on a hot air balloon only to be cancelled the last minute on the last day of our trip for no reason. These people overbook and charge people higher prices and cancel others with no notice. He was bad at communication and didn’t speak to us after he canceled our reservation. Very unprofessional. After going to a few other travel agencies they agreed that Qx doesn’t have a good reputation at all. This scam needs to stop or else they will continue to operate this way. Take your business elsewhere!

We were stranded with no activity since our original agent just point blank said he could organise a hot air balloon trip when the one planned got canceled. Qx tours were super nice an efficient and gave us wonderful options to do the day the ride was cancelled and also organised a trip the next day. Saeed who I interacted with is superb with his suggestions considering we were kids and very reassuring which is so important when one is in a foreign country. We did the hot air balloon ride through them and the Turkish cultural night and everything was handled wonderfully- they were on time and ever accommodating. Am surely recommending them to all my friends and will use their services for an entire trip the next time we visit Turkey.

All of things were superb. we did balloon tour and red tour with Qx travel company, they organized everything like what explained, specially the guide was amazing and full of knowledge, i dont like history much but the way of expaination was wonderful. Definitely recommended

They lied to us, selling us a flight far away from Goreme. Moreover, the also lied to us telling us that because of the weather, the sunrise flight was cancelled. ALL LIES. They sell several flights at different prices (economic, deluxe, VIP), but you will use the same balloon. ¡ESTAFADORES!

A hot air balloon ride is a must-experience activity in Cappadocia. The Qx travel company came highly recommended by my hotel, The Goreme Inn, telling me you would receive the VIP treatment. The experience certainly was VIP-worthy. Our pilot, was professional, friendly, funny, and reassuring to all of the riders. He deserves top marks! His crew and staff were also top-rate.

It was a great experience from start to finish, since they picked us up very punctually in the morning to take us to the place where we would board the balloon. Once there, being at the heights was something incredible, as we got to see a beautiful sunrise and beautiful landscapes of volcanic rocks and many balloons in the air. At the end, a toast was made and we were given our flight certificate, and then returned to our hotel. The attention of all the staff was excellent. Thanks for everything.

The agency did a good job - all the commitments were fulfilled, we were picked up from the hotel on time, the flight was unforgettable, brought back in the best possible way. The flight itself was organized by Assiana Baloons, in case anyone is interested. Looking for shortcomings, it seemed like a very long wait in a minibus at the gathering place for all the crews, in the square in Gerham, before we were finally taken to the balloons. We had time to steam. Besides us, there are many more buses there - apparently it's common practice. They may have been cleared to fly for so long, but at 50 euros per person, you can turn a blind eye. I'll certainly recommend it to my friends.
