Cappadocia Fairy Chimneys Guided Tour With Local Wine Tasting

Yakub was a fantastic tour guide. Gave us some amazing insights into the culture and history of Cappadocia. With Mustafar at the wheel, they made a great combo. Special mention to the wine tasting. It was run by a local wine merchant and maker, his knowledge and passion made the whole experience memorable. For anyone who enjoys wine, take this tour.

Great history, beautiful scenery and excellent wines. Jacob took excellent care of us. We started at the Pigeon Valley and then went to Fairy Chimneys. We then stopped by a pottery making place near the Red River, followed by a wine tasting of no less than 20 wines from Turkey. Great experience!

This time, I booked a tour that added a visit to the underground city to the Red Tour. There was a detailed explanation of each location, which was very informative. I don't usually use tours when traveling, but when it comes to Cappadocia, I recommend a tour for transportation and efficiently visiting the tourist attractions. The toilets in the underground city and at the lunch area were free to use. Anything else costs 20 Turkish Lira. Lunch was a buffet, and I was able to enjoy delicious traditional Turkish cuisine.

It was a nice trip with a kind and passionate tour guide, Eda. She explained very well on the places we visited , so I could understand more about the background. Two thumbs up!

Value day trip, went to couple of tourist spots. Jacob is professional and helpful. He introduced history and explained details of every spot. He is very friendly and we are happy with the trip.

Eda was GREAT! She explained everything, took pictures, and brought visuals throughout this trip!! She is a most excellent guide, you will not regret choosing her! As far as the tour, I’d recommend the tour company to provide water throughout the tour as we took lengthy walks, luckily I brought my own! Tour was great! highly recommend!

The tour was well-paced with a good level of physical activity that made it enjoyable but not too strenuous. We really enjoyed Derinkuyu Underground City & the Ihlara Valley. Rabia was an excellent guide who gave clear commentary & ample free time to explore on our own. Lunch was included. While it wasn’t fantastic, it’s nicer than what I expected of a meal provided on a group tour.

Interesting and well organised tour by our friendly guide Rabia. Buffet lunch has a wide selection but do not serve any drinking water. All drinks has to be purchased by ourselves.

The tour hits a lot of highlights of the cappadocia region as expected. Unfortunately we didn’t get to spend as much time at the sites as expected. But this was balanced out by not spending a lot of time at the shops where thankfully I didn’t feel that pressure to buy anything. Just listened to the sales pitch/history and then walked away.

Amazing experience. Was coordinated by Murat on our transport and booking details. Tour was guided smoothly without bombing of information by our lovely guide Yakub. Not to forget Mustafa driving skills were also superb. No sudden breaking and jerking of the vehicle. Overall the tour was worth it. Pace was not rushing at all. We were all given ample time to take photos and trek during each site.

The Red Tour in Cappadocia was absolutely incredible. We visited all the iconic spots like the Göreme Open Air Museum and the fairy chimneys at Paşabağ—the landscapes were truly unique and breathtaking. What made the tour exceptional was our guide, Yakup. He was outstanding! Yakup is deeply knowledgeable about the history and geology of the region. He presented the information in a fun and engaging way, bringing the ancient caves and rock formations to life.
