Cappadocia Balloon Flight

When I booked this ride back in March 2026 for my June 2026 trip, I paid roughly double the average of the other Capoddocia balloon rides on TripAdvisor because I wanted to go on one with a smaller number of people for a better experience. The disclosure under Additional Information on this listing then as it still remains as of October 2026 is that there's a maximum of 15 people. Imagine my surprise when I find there's actually 30 people as shown in the attached photos. When I complain later and ask for a refund since this was a bait & switch, they say no, their disclosure on TripAdvisor was wrong and they will correct the disclosure. Consequently, I've had to go through my credit card company to resolve this matter. Obviously despite many months later, the tour operator still hasn't fixed it and are still misleading people. Find another tour as this tour is poor value for money. You can find another comparable one for less than half the cost.

Do not trust this company. Cancelled booking at the last minute with no alternative. Gave a BS excuse.

The operator for some reason reached out less than 24 hours before the trip to get additional information. This was at 2pm. They said I had until 4:15pm to answer or they would mark me as a no-show for the trip happening the next day. I was unfortunately on a plane and did not answer their message until 6pm the day before the trip. They never replied and I'm now trying to get my money back as I had to go with another company. It also threw off my schedule as I had other tours planned the following mornings.

Disaster. Real cheats. We booked for 23rd sept. We were told over WhatsApp on 22nd sept that the balloon rides for the following day were all cancelled due to weather. When we clarified with the hotel, they confirmed that rides were indeed NOT cancelled for that day. The tour company remained UNCONTACTABLE when we tried to call them. Absolute disappointment. I suspect they overbooked. They also refused to find us a spot for any other day. DO NOT BOOK.

My first time doing a hot air balloon experience. I had a grand time and the views were stunning. 🎈

Our Soganli trip was cancelled due to low volume of people, but were offered the Cappadocia trip as a substitute. But WOW - it couldn’t have been better.!! We were picked up on time, arrived to the launch site within 10minutes, offered tea/coffee and given a breakfast package. The flight itself was unreal.!!!!!! It literally is breathtaking & cannot express in words the beauty of this experience. Thank you so much for making our trip a bucket list dream.!!!

The views are amazing, we had taking a lot of pictures, the greatest view for the trip is the sunrise.

Early pick-up from hotel to rendezvous point. It was great to see all the balloons take off within minutes of each other and fly over the travertines. Beautiful sunrise this morning, too. The take-off and flight were really smooth, with an expert landing directly onto the back of the trailer. All very well done.

It was a really good experience. From the pick-up to the boarding to the landing, everything was smooth and well organised. There were even champagne and flight certificates in the end. My family really enjoyed the experience. I would recommend.

Very convenient and on-time transfers. Great balloon flight experience. Our pilot, Murat, is very experienced and landed the balloon on top of the trailer at the end of the flight.

I had a great time up there and it was an awesome flight! The scenery was so great, and when I looked at the other balloons in the air, it seemed like the time freeze. :) The staffs were friendly and worked hard. Also the contact person - Murat contacted us was so responsive and caring. It was an really wonder trip for us. Highly recommended!

The airballoon ride was fun. It first flew very high up to get the whole view of the town and valley during sunrise, and then flew down closer to the town and above the buildings. We landed in front of Burger King in the middle of the road 😅 that was pretty funny and unique experience. The view was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended to people visiting Cappadocia or riding a hot air balloon for the first time.

The pick up and drop off arrangement were well communicated. The whole process from the start to the end of the hot air balloon experience was smooth. The crew helped to highlight key areas to lookout during the flight. I would recommend it for sure.

It was very good experience overall, Lots of great views and really pleasant ride. Murat, who was in charge of flying the balloon was very attentive to details and really helpful throughout the entire experience. Only two slightly negative comments would be with regards to two aspects of the experience which have not been delivered as promised. The duration of the flight was advertised to take 1h and we spent at around 45min tops in the air. Also, we have been told to get breakfast box before the flight, this has never happened. When raised with Murat it turns out that it may have been overlooked by third party. Overall good experience and would have been 5 start if not for the issues highlighted above

This tour was incredible and exceeded expectations! Booking was simple, and communication was excellent from Murat which included regular updates and follow ups before and after the tour. We received a breakfast pack which was a lovely touch since it’s an early start. The tour itself was as professional as it gets and we were one of the first up which gave a lovely perspective of the balloons shortly before they took off. We also flew low through a valley of fairy chimneys that were amazing. The ballon was not crowded either and moving around was comfortable to snap pictures. All in all a fantastic experience and definitely worthwhile.

Amazing experience! Not only with the view but also kudos to the service staff! I flew in from Istanbul just to catch the morning balloon tour but flight was delayed for an hour. Nonetheless the staff made necessary arrangements and coordination with my airport transfer driver to ensure that I can catch the full balloon tour experience. Highly recommended!

Very expensive but worth the experience. Very skillful team handling the operations. View was exceptional. Food provided was so so.

In the beginning I was afraid that we would miss out on the sunrise as we had started after many of the balloons were already flying. But we had the best view of the other balloons in the sky as well as the sunrise as well! Our captain was very knowledgeable and we felt safe flying with him. Thank you to the team for a great time! Note: we did miss out the pre sunrise time when the sky is pinkish and still dark. Some other balloons fly earlier. We also did not have breakfast that some others offer but we didn’t mind as we got to wake up later! There was also champagne served at the end!
