I had a wonderful time staying at the Petra Inn. Hotel staff was very welcoming and very accommodating. The location is wonderful with easy access to both Pigeon & Love Valley to get to Goreme if you are a walker/hiker as I am. The hotel is only a 10 minute drive to Goreme city center if you are not. Uchisar city center and Uchisar castle are less than a 5 minute walk away as well. I found myself walking through the valleys to Goreme and taking a taxi back at max $10 USD when I went. Street is quiet and the mansion is a wonderful place to read. The hotel has a wonderful view of Pigeon Valley lit up in the evenings. Unfortunately, I was unable to see the balloons from the terrace during my time here, but I hear that they are visible from the hotel’s terrace. My family and I really enjoyed our room. It was spacious and clean. Ardic staff was also highly attentive. Breakfast was good, but nothing special. A great spread for some sustenance. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would love to stay here when I come back.

Australians...mature...early September....Petra Inn did not disappoint. The room was large enough to spread out for 3 days. Bed comfortable.. AMAZING location with views of the region and hot air balloons right above you sometimes!... the staff were so kind...accommodating...it was beautifully quiet ...all the time. Advice...choose to have breakfast included in your rate...you wont have to eat for the rest of the day! It is an easy walk uphill to the town ..even for us baby boomers! And then grab a 10 min cab to Goreme to liven the pace up. It was a great start to our holiday!!
View was breathtaking, breakfast was from local products and so fresh , staff were so kind and helpful. Location is so peaceful and you can walk to uchisar centre . Goreme is also easily accessible. We tried red tour arranged by hotel and that was full of memorable locations and we learnt lot from the tour guide. Thanks everyone
As someone who has stayed in a fair share of hotels around the world, I am genuinely pleased to say that Petra Inn is an excellent hotel (if not my favourite one). On top of the beautifully designed rooms (the bedrooms are real caves!!), the staff are incredibly kind, hardworking and humble people who truly care about their guests’ experience. We were served a huge and delicious breakfast during the three mornings we stayed at the hotel, and on our last day, because of our early departure, they even prepared sandwiches for us to take with us! Such a thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated. The highlight of the hotel is certainly the restaurant. I genuinely recommend trying the restaurant during your stay!! I honestly miss it now that I’m no longer there.
We stayed at Petra Inn for 6 night in early May, during the off-peak season. The hotel is really quiet with many terraces offering a breath-taking view over the valleys. In the morning, you can even see the hot-balloons in the sky from the hotel. Everything in the village can be done walking: it's a small and sweet village. Directly from the hotel, there is a path leading to the Pigeon valley. All other villages are about 10 minutes away from this one by car, and all valleys trail about 15 minutes. Employees of the hotel are all sweet and kind, we had a wonderful time here. They even prepared a surprise cake for my wife's birthday. The food is good and the breakfast buffet has a very large choice of savory and sweet food with veggies and fruits. Highly recommend!
