I recommend Kemal guest house to anyone who wants to experience a local and authentic, family atmosphere. Amazing breakfast, garden, cozy room. We felt at home thanks to Kemal and his family who took care of us with friendliness and a smile.

Unfortunately the place to not live up to my expectations. The owner was rude and combative. He forgot that he's in the hospitality industry not the hostility industry. The place is getting old and falling apart. There was Plumbing problem in my unit and I was forced after one night to move to another room. He said that one of his staff would help me with the move but they simply unlocked the door and walked away. I lost an hour out of my day moving to a new room and he did absolutely nothing nice to compensate me. The Wi-Fi is not secure and they block my VPN so I was not able to use my computer. There is no secure luggage storage. He told me I could leave my backpack in the office but no one is there a lot of the time and someone could easily just walk in and steal my backpack. I asked him if I could pay some money to check out 2 hours later than normal and he told me I would have to pay $120 for a full day which is absolutely ridiculous. Every place I've stayed in my life lets you pay 10 or 20 euro per hour for late check out. The only good thing about the place is the location but frankly almost everything in the town is close to the center so you have plenty of options. I would definitely not stay here again

Great place to stay, I highly recommend Thanks to Kemal and his family, their place is beautiful and clean. They provided info about Göreme and the region, they booked the balloon for us, and let us put our luggage after check out. Special thanks to Barbara for the breakfast, we were full of energy to go hiking !

We had a great experience during our stay at Kemal's guest house. Clean and comfortable rooms, beds, and bathroom. Breakfast was very generous and complete. Breakfast tables are located in a pretty fruit and flower garden. There is a lovely terrace to watch the sunrise from and the balloons flying. Kemal helped us get the tickets to fly in the balloons at a good price, and this was a highlight of our trip. Very good service. The guest house is centrally located within walking distance of the town center. Highly recommend it.
