I rarely write hotel reviews, but our experience at Kayakapi Premium Caves in Cappadocia was so exceptional that I simply had to share it! A special thank you to Manager Duygu Agilli, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. She and the entire staff made us feel truly welcome. The hospitality was outstanding! Built into the mountainside, this unique cave hotel offers an unforgettable experience. Our room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The convenient golf cart service between our room, reception, and restaurant was another wonderful touch. The FOOD was simply AMAZING! Breakfast was to die for! We also dined at one of the hotel's restaurants, as the Michelin-starred restaurant was fully booked. Every dish we tried was unique, flavorful, and exceptionally prepared. The food exceeded our expectations in every way! We also experienced Royal Balloon, owned by the same company, and they were equally fantastic! They picked us up, provided a nice breakfast before our hot air balloon ride, and dropped us back at the hotel. Everything was seamless and professionally organized. From the incredible hospitality and delicious food to the breathtaking cave accommodations and balloon experience, everything exceeded our expectations. Special thanks again to Duygu Agilli and the entire team! I highly recommend both Kayakapi Premium Caves and Royal Balloon. Truly unforgettable and worth every penny!

We loved the hotel in general and found the location really fun with incredible views. The staff and responsiveness generally professional and extremely efficient. When calling for a ride to reception or to pick up luggage, we were amazed at how quickly they arrived. The food in the general restaurant was good and the restaurant service perhaps a little too efficient (not give us enough time to finish one course before the next one arrived). We did not, unfortunately get a chance to try the Michelin star restaurant as we didn’t realize we needed to book ahead of time. I do wish the hotel concierge had told our travel agent. The room was large, although perhaps a little too big as we were assigned a family suite and we were a couple so half the space, beds, were not useable. The couch in the sitting room was extremely uncomfortable and could have used some additional chairs. The tv in the living room needed colour adjustment and due to a language barrier we couldn’t figure out how to fix it. The bathroom needed Kleenex and a functioning hair dryer (they did bring us a new one right away). The bed was comfortable but the duvet cover was too small for the king size bed. The windows could have use blackout blinds. The bathroom was spacious and had it’s own Hammam and had all the necessities (a magnifying mirror would have been great to have). In general, I would recommend this hotel for the views and the food.
This is an exception resort well worth enjoying. We stayed for 2 nights in September and everything exceeded our expectations. We asked for transport to be arranged through the hotel and were met outside baggage claim. The staff was attentive, polite but not intrusive. The resort is carved into the side of the mountain high up overlooking the city and surrounding area. Views are spectacular. The room was indeed a cave, albeit a luxurious one. Large living room, comfortable King size bed with soft pillows. Large bathroom with great water pressure. All the expected amenities available. Breakfast was by the pool with a variety of healthy options. Non buffet items are prepared fresh for you. Service was very good throughout. If you find yourself passing through Capadoccia, do not miss this opportunity to treat yourself and experience the Kayakapi Premium Caves.
We stayed two nights here as part of a 3 week holiday to Turkey and it was sensational. The room was beautifully and tastefully decorated with unique rugs on the floor and quirky antique furniture. We had a Hamam and our own refreshing small pool too. There was also a friendly restaurant with incredible views of Urgup and the surrounding valley and delicious varied food (with lots of options from delicious traditional Turkish food to basic staples for picky children). The hotel organised an incredible tour of Cappadocia with a brilliant, knowledgeable and friendly guide called Yuksul who created a very informative and fun tour of the area that we will never forget. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay for longer.
