A great experience. My wife and I were the only ones booked on the tour and we had a fabulous and personalised wine tasting experience. The vineyards visited and the information provided were excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable guide. Highly recommended.

This activity was absolutely incredible. Aileen knows everything about wines and about the wine estates in Stellenbosch. In addition, she's a very pleasant person. The 4 wine estates that we visited were extraordinary, both in terms of beauty and quality of wines.

Strongly recommend this tour provider. Our wine guide Eileen was simply the best - she was knowledgeable, very cooperative, and friendly. I wish all tour guides took a lesson from her.

Had a great day out travelling around the wineries tasting the new and unexpected. Our guide was a wonderful host for the day and we thoroughly enjoyed her company. I was a bit apprehensive about having too much, and I'm definitely not a spittoon gal (sacrilege!!) , but this tour is well paced, enough so that I felt OK to indulge with more at lunch. We were also very lucky that our tour ended up being private too. I learned quite a bit, tasted things I enjoyed that I didn't expect to, seen some beautiful scenery and had some great food. We bought a few bottles as we went, but didn't feel any pressure to purchase. They all made it home safely with no casualties in the luggage as we bought some little padded sleeves to protect them. Really enjoyed our day and felt it was great value for all that we visited and tasted. Was definitely a bonus to have a knowledgeable guide and driver so you can taste as much or as little as you fancy

Willem gave us a lovely day out , visiting 4 different wineries, all with their own different stories to tell, different wine styles and beautiful locations. He's both knowledgeable and fun. I thoroughly recommend this tour, or contacting him to arrange a more personalised trip , but it's worth taking his advice rather than saying exactly where you want to visit

We were collected by Eileen punctually and found we were the only two people on the tour that day. Eileen asked us about our expectations and took us to 3 wineries during the day. At each of the beautiful wineries she selected a series of wines making sure there was at least one less usual wine choice per winery. We had a lovely lunch at the Mont Marie restaurant between wineries 2 and 3. The knowledge of the staff at the wineries and Eileen’s experience really made the day for us. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone.

We ended up having a very personal experience with one other lovely couple for the day. We were picked up in Cape Town by Willem who assisted us with our luggage as we were moving to a hotel in Stellenbosch. The selected wineries were really beautiful, with fabulous wine and a cheese pairing at L’Avenir where we were also taken on a tour of the cellar. The lunch location was appalling service waiting >30mins to even get table water, but to no fault of the tour operator. Had a fantastic day and would be sure to go with Willem again if we are back in the region.

The tour was amazing. Excellent places, excellent wines and, of course, an excellent guide. There were only two of us on the tour this time, so in fact it turned to be a private tour for the price of a group one :) The wineries were selected according to our tastes and it was a one hundred percent hit. Especially we liked the tasting with the cheese pairing in L'Avenir winery. To bottom line it, the tour was totally according to what was advertised - custom-tailored tour on the small family-owned wineries with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. I will definitely recommend it to all my friends who goes two South Africa and interested in wines.

Eileen was a really competent guide, she was explaining all about stellenbosch and choose amazing vineyards. We loved so much I would 100% recommend her. It suppose to be a small group and surprisingly it becomes a private tour as it was just me and two friends. The wines and the explanations were amazing.

Expected the day to be with a group but ended up as a private personal tour for my wife and me. Wow what a fantastic day. Our fabulous guide George Green made the day so perfect with his knowledge and great Conversation. The wines we tasted and the Venues were terrific. Lunch at the Mont Marie brilliant. This was our first wine tour and our tour guide, George, was absolutely fantastic, he was very welcoming and immediately put us at ease. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the wine industry and we learned so much. The wine farms that he chose were very unique and not your mainstream farms. We would highly recommend George for his friendly and vibey attitude and knowledge and experience in the industry and in Cape Town in general.

This was an amazing experience & led expertly by our guide George through the Stellenbosch region. He was extremely knowledgeable & the banter just flowed, we had an absolute ball from talking through different wines, varietals to cricket & rugby.... George is the host with the most! The wineries themselves, spectacular! The wines, beautiful & lunch was perfect. In comparison to other wine tours in the region & elsewhere, hands down the best experience to date.

Absolutely outstanding tour. We have travelled extensively and can say this is most definitely one of our best trips ever. Eileen our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and great company. We are not normally wine drinkers but got to understand the history from Eileen and enjoyed our tastings sessions at some beautiful wineries. The scenery was spectacular. Only the 4 of us on the trip so turned out to be a private tour. Can’t recommended this enough .

We were picked up from our hotel by Eileen , our guide for the day - she was brilliant , friendly, very knowledgeable and good company. We visited several vineyards and had a lovely lunch . The location and scenery were amazing ( we had a lovely sunny day which was a bonus). Although not wine connoisseurs we thoroughly enjoyed the day and would definitely recommend this trip . Again thanks to Eileen who made the trip informal , fun and very interesting.

This was a repeat booking, having enjoyed similar a few years ago. The small group turned out to be just us and our friends and the tour starts with hotel picks ups, essential for all that wine tasting. We visited three wine farms (Rustenburg, l'Avenir and Meerlust) as well as having lunch at Guardian Peak. All excellent and very different. Eileen was our guide and driver and she was very informative. Recommended

This was a wonderful experience! 10/10 recommend. Willem was such a great guide. The wine farms he said we were going to were slightly different than the ones listed on here, but he was very accommodating and made sure we went were we mot wanted too. I still can't get over the wine and cheese pairing experience. Such a great tour of the beautiful South Africa winelands!

My friend and I booked the group tour, but as we were the only ones scheduled that day, we ended up with a private tour. Willem was knowledgeable and friendly and a great tour guide. We had three tastings and a lunch, and everything was fabulous. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to sample the Stellenbosch region.

Our group tour turned into a private tour with a wonderful guide, Eileen. We were able to tailor the tour to our interests and the guide was knowledgeable and helpful. It was better than I had hoped for

It ended up just being the 2 of us as the other 4 booked on the trip couldn’t make it. We visited 4 different wineries and learnt a lot about wine and what we liked and didn’t like. Willem was an amazing guide and gave us so much information about the history and the area. We had an amazing day and would thoroughly recommend!

My wife and I had a fantastic day of wine tasting with Tsiba Tsiba. We booked the trip as a small group tour. On the day of our tour we were the only two people booked. The owner of the tour company picked us up in his car for a private tour. We visited four wineries; Thelema Mountain Vineyards, L’Avenir, Kanonkop Wine Estate, and Guardian Peak Winery and Restaurant. At each winery we were treated to a private tasting tailored to our taste preferences.. Lunch at Guardian Peak was wonderful with great food and wine. Willem (the owner and tour guide for the day), provided insights and stories about southern Africa, communities we visited, the sights, and the South African wine industry. While our travel itinerary did not allow us to purchase bottles of wine (next leg of our trip was to a remote safari camp), each winery provided us with options to purchase wine in the United States. I would highly recommend Tsiba Tsiba for a day of sightseeing and wine tasting.

We had a wonderful day with Colleen who showes us around 3 vineyards of the Stellenbosch area. While sharing her passion and knowledge about wine, helping us to further understand more about the creation process we enjoyed a couple of the best glasses of red and white whines we had so far in ZA. We highly recommend the tour!

Amazing company and tour!!! enjoyed all the day so much and would recommend it to everyone. We were honored to have the private tour as other guests cancel the reservation due to the health reasons. Willem told us not only amazing South African wine but also gave us explanation on the reach South African culture. We visited 4 wine houses and had amazing lunch together. He was alsoso kind to write us an email with different tips on the next stops on our planning in South Africa which were very useful and gave us so much more that just reading about stuff on internet and searching online ... On the tour we were never forced to buy something but still ended up with 10 bottles ;) few bottles will stay on our collection to remember this trip and amazing day <3 Would definitely repeat and go ones more on that tour!! very recommended and must do in Cape Town!!!! Thank you very much for such a day and all your knowledge that was shared with us!

We had a fantastic wine tour. We visited 5 stunning vineyards on the full Day shared tour, met great people and drank beautiful wines. The scenery was unbelievable! George shares local knowledge and we had a brilliant day from start to finish with him! Excellent day on our honeymoon and I would highly recommend him! 5 stars George!!!

Just returned from what I can only describe as a fantastic day with George. Picked up promptly 5 minutes earlier than expected! Vehicle was clean and reliable! George was superb excellent local knowledge of South Africa’s history and townships. Visited Meerlust, Thelmela, Rustenburg, Simonsig and L’Avenir. (Wine and cheese and L’avenir amazing!) Absolutely amazing vineyards made extra special by Georges Knowledge and Hospitality. Lunch at Simonsig was exceptional! This was my second time with this company and again I am left speechless with the level of exceptional service and hospitality! I hope George enjoyed the Welsh singing on route back to the hotel! “Calon Lan!!!!!” Thanks for a great day!!!! Keep it touch!!!

The wine tour with George to 3 wine estates was awesome. The winerys were all fantastic and totally different, our guide was a great guy telling us everything about South Africa, the region, the history and of course the wine estates. We highly recommend this tour!!!

The wine tour with Eileen was an amazing experience. We were picked up at our hotel with a very comfortable Mercedes, which took us to the beautiful aera around Stellenbosch. Eileen has a profound knowledge about the country, the culture, the politics and of course about the wine. There was not a question she could not answer and the wineyards were excellent with immediate and personal attendance by the crew, no waiting lines. The only thing to criticize was that we drunk to much wine - it was to good. Thank you Eileen!

Willem is an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable and helpful, he took us to 4 amazing places where we drank tasty wine and had artistic cheese. Lunch was very tasty. We had an amazing day, with non stop laughter and enjoyment. We would definitely recommend doing the tour!

This as one of the most amazing wineries trip we have had! Our guide was so knowledgeable and took us to the most beautiful vineyards. He took us away from the crowds and to some off road vineyards most of them were small but some of the best wines we have had. He picked us up from our hotel and was before time. I would highly recommend this tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared so much more about the history of this place. The car was very comfortable and the day was planned to perfection. Highly recommended if in Cape Town!

We loved the Tsiba Tsiba wine tour we took at Stellenbosch wine country area. Best wineries, excellent explanations from William on wine, the area and the South African history. Having a tour enabled us to drink and taste many wines while traveling from one winery to the next. We highly recommend Tsiba Tsiba wine tour!

Hi all! Today I’m reporting in from my happy place! We did a tour through wine country. 5 wineries and BEAUTIFUL countryside. We were in the Stellenbosch area. The wines were lovely. I asked James to represent our area and wear his Walla Walla Vintners shirt. Our way of flying our Washington State wine flag..... no one had ever heard of Walla Walla! Boy are they missing out. Tsiba Tsiba Tours: GREAT! Our tour guide was named Willam ( pronounced Villam). He was born in Zimbabwe and fought in the war against communism in the Rhodesian Bush War. He said it was the equivalent of our Vietnam war. His daughter is a Victoria Secret Model Candice Swanepoel in New York and his son is an actual Sommelier in Cape Town. A Sommelier... who cares about the angel, tell me how your son became a Sommelier!!! James was more interested in the angel. We were afraid to ask what his wife did. We were sure she was a doctor in some war torn corner of Africa. What a family of overachievers. Our tour only had 2 people in it. James and I. Apparently another couple might have had too much to drink the night before and cancelled. Fun Fact for the day: what do they call flip flops in South Africa? Slip Slops. I think very appropriately named. Another fun fact: The flower of Southern Africa is the King Protea. Willam was shocked that we have the same flowers in Hawaii. He I sure we stole them. I did a little research and Hawaii did steal them in 1977. Great job Tsiba Tsiba touts. I could not recommend you more.

Short city tour, excellent general education of the guide, very entertaining perfect organization,. Beautiful wineries - all different - well explained - top. It doesn’t get any better 👍

The wine tour was incredibly beautiful.All 4 wineries were different and not overcrowded.The organization was perfect and our guide responded to all wishes.Thank you for this great experience

Unfortunately, there were only 3 wine tastings, at below-average to mediocre wineries, which were also not family-run. At no winery were we told anything about the winery, let alone there was a guided tour of the winery or the vineyards or the cellar. At the first winery we just sat in the garden and we were poured a single glass of wine every 15min(!!!) and in between just nothing happened. All wine tastings could also have been done privately without any problems for sometimes under 5€. Our guide Pamela at least still told between rides. Conclusion: Absolutely disappointing and also too expensive for the performance offered, even by European standards.
