The private tour experience is the way to go! Our guide, Collin, was informative and flexible. He was even able to adjust our pick up time at our request. He helped us to choose the wineries that best suited us and we had a terrific day. Everywhere we went he had information to share and we found all the wine farms, lovely and welcoming. We tasted great wines in beautiful settings. We were delighted with everything about the tour.

We had an unforgettable day winetasting at 3 unique wine estates in Franschhoek and then a great lunch at a restaurant in town. Collin's recommendations for which estates to visit were perfect and he made sure we received special treatment during each visit. He also shared that it was my birthday and I received an extra special wine or drink at each place. Highly recommend!!

We were on our honeymoon trip and used the winelands guides throughout. Prince was our guide for the private winelands tour. He was timely and everything was seamless. Prince was the perfect guide for the relatively long trip out there, he was extremely charismatic and kept the conversation going the whole time with fun banter as well as knowledge on South African culture in Cape Town and the wine region. My wife and I had a blast just riding around with him, not to mention all the wine we consumed on our way! We stopped at 4 wineries with a great lunch downtown Stellenbosch at Meraki. Our favorite winery was L’Avenir, a cute farmhouse style winery with a lovely outdoor seating area with hummingbirds and flowers, as well as some chickens walking around. Prime also took us to a good variety of small and larger wineries so we felt we got a good feel for the area. Highly recommend the Winelands Guides.

We had Tim as our guide for our private full day Winelands tour. First, Tim was such a pleasure to have as a guide. He’s incredibly kind, personable and knowledgeable about South Africa and specifically the winelands. I wanted to go to some “hidden gems” and he delivered! This was definitely one of the most memorable days for us on our honeymoon. And all thanks to the company and Tim!

We did both the Cape Peninsula tour and best of Winelands tour. Both tours were absolutely incredible and we could not have asked for a better start to our honeymoon. We did an e-bike tour with Colin through Stellenbosch and had an awesome day! It was by far the highlight of our stay in wine country. We went to three different wineries and a lunch and were treated to great service at each. The e-bikes were super fun to ride through off-road trails that connected the various wineries. Colin is such a fun, kind person and was the perfect guide for the day. He is very knowledgeable about the region as well as the different varieties of wine so it was an educational experience as well! Colin also took great photos of us throughout the day and drove us to the town of Stellenbosch as a courtesy. This tour is seriously a must do for anyone spending time in Stellenbosch or Franschhoek. You won't regret it!

Amazing wine tour! We ended up doing 2. One day Ishmael drove us around for a wine land tour to 3 different wineries. It was an amazing experience and he was so kind and nice it was a great experience. He went above and beyond showing us around and different areas we hadn’t seen yet. We also did a biking wine tour with Colin. We had 3 other couples with us which was amazing getting to know other people and experience the wine lands together. We biked around to 3 different wineries. I was scared to bike and taste wine but Colin assured me it would be great and it was! I highly recommend this tour because you get to experience the winelands not from a car. Don’t worry the bikes are electric so there is minimal effort! It was an amazing day. Overall I think we spent everyday of our time in the winelands with Colin and his team and I couldn’t be happier. They felt like family from the moment we arrived and it was truly and amazing experience we will never forget. You MUST hangout with them while in South Africa you will not be disappointed!

My wife and I did both a Winelands tour and a Cape Penninsula tour with Colin and it was awesome! He knew all of the place to take us to that perfectly fit our preferences and made us feel completely comfortable while we were exploring a new place. My husband and I were in South Africa for our honeymoon and luckily were connected to Colin for a tour in the Winelands. We had the best day learning about the wine that comes from the region of Franschhoek. Despite feeling a bit under the weather due to jet lag, Colin was super accommodating to our needs and let us push back our tour so we could get some extra sleep. This is the amazing service you'll get when on a tour with Colin!! Once we got started, we went to a few smaller wineries which is more our style. We were able to interact with the people who run the vineyards and got a really amazing experience. Colin was super helpful in recommending wines to taste that we might not have chosen but he is so passionate about South African wine that he felt it was important we tried it all. So gald he did that! We are now huge South African wine fans. If you are looking for a knowledgable and easy going wine tour, this is absolutely perfect for you!

We did the half-day tour with Colin through the South African winelands, and had an amazing time. We spent a full day touring the Cape Winelands with Colin and it was such a delight. Colin from start to finish curated an AMAZING and private wine tour. Because he lives in wine country and has worked at the vineyards, he knows the magical spots that have breathtaking views to taste wine. We even met the owners of one of the vineyards! He’s the type of knowledgeable, insightful guide that you are happy to spend the entire day with and welcome his robust insights on wines and grape growing. I’ve previously had experiences at wineries in the USA where you end up having too much to drink and the experience is no longer fun. That wasn’t the case at all on this tour. Everything is drawn out and the timing is perfect. Would HIGHLY recommend this tour!

My wife and I did the Guided Cape Winelands Tour with Colin during our honeymoon. He is incredibly professional, reliable, and was a great guide for us all day. He picked us up around 10am, we visited 3 wineries, and we were returned to our hotel mid-afternoon. Had a fantastic time! I would highlight recommend Colin and this guided tour!
