The host was absolutely lovely, super friendly and very helpful. The rooms we stayed in were beautifully furnished clean and well maintained but the stairs going up to the rooms were a bit of a challenge. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely gem in Paarl.

PERFECT. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in November 2025 and it was perfect for us. Comfortable, stylish rooms, a pleasant balcony area to sit in the afternoon, and everything was clean and well maintained. The cherry on the cake is Minette, the owner. She is a delight. She even gave us a lift to the restaurant one evening when we went out for a special dinner so I didn't have to drive, AND picked us up again afterwards. If we're ever lucky enough to come back to Paarl we will definitely stay at Madeliefie.

Situated in the town centre. Great accommodation, secure parking and a to-go breakfast for the early departures. Superb room with all the amenities you may need. Wifi didn't work well but that might just be the wind outside on the evening. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back soon.
