Hawksmoor House

We recently hosted a bridal shower here, and I cannot recommend this venue enough. It was originally meant to be a garden party, but it rained unexpectedly on the day. What could have been a total disaster was handled flawlessly because the manager, Crystal, is an absolute lifesaver! She already had a plan B and plan C ready to go. Crystal was incredibly accommodating and calmly moved our entire event into the beautiful manor house dining room. The space was stunning, the atmosphere was perfect, and her quick thinking completely saved the day. Our bride-to-be had the most magical time. Thank you, Crystal, for going above and beyond! If you are planning an event and want total peace of mind, you need to book this venue. Weather can be unpredictable, but knowing you have an incredible manager like Crystal who is ready for anything makes all the difference. Don't hesitate to trust them with your special day—they will absolutely exceed your expectations!

We stayed at Hawksmoor House for our wedding weekend, from Saturday to Sunday, and we honestly could not have asked for a more special experience. On the Saturday evening, we had a braai catered for our family and friends, and the team set up the dinner beautifully at the Manor House. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Every staff member made us feel so welcome, and Crystal and Florian, the managers, went above and beyond in every possible way. The attention to detail, warmth and personal treatment made us feel like family rather than guests. Looking back, if we could choose all over again, we would even consider booking Hawksmoor for the wedding itself! It is such a beautiful and special venue, and we were completely over the moon with our stay. One of the loveliest touches was after our wedding. On the day of checkout, they allowed us to stay and enjoy the sunshine by the pool for a little longer. It gave us the perfect opportunity to relax, soak in everything that had happened and slowly say goodbye to the most incredible wedding weekend. Hawksmoor House exceeded every expectation we had. The setting is absolutely beautiful, but it is the people and their incredible hospitality that made our stay truly unforgettable. We cannot recommend Hawksmoor House highly enough. We had a fantastic time at Hawksmoore house. Only a 38 minute drive from Greenpoint but feels like you are deep in the countryside. You can still see Table Mountain in the distance and it looks especially beautiful at dawn and sunset. The rooms were beautifully decorated with soft mattresses and full percale cotton bedding. Slept like a log! The Vanbrugh Pinotage crafted from grapes grown and harvested directly on Matjieskuil Farm was absolutely superb so a took a case home with me. The Sauvignon Blanc was also brilliant! The service from Crystal and her team was also top notch - worthy of a Five Star establishment! We will definitely be back!

An opulent venue for private functions! Our client and guests thoroughly enjoyed the exceptional hospitality and exquisite food. We will definitely be recommending this venue to our clients.
