Best service ever received. All the staff was so friendly and happy. Rooms where fantastic. Outside area so calm and relaxing. Clayton the day manager was so helpful at all times and so friendly.. A cot was available for our baby and he even organised a sitting baby chair. Welldone Evergreen Manor en stuff. 10/10. The night manager was also so friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Absolutely loved our stay at Evergreen Manor & Spa! The room was beautiful, spacious and incredibly comfortable, and the whole property has such a peaceful atmosphere. The spa was amazing and the breakfast was delicious with a great selection. Everything felt relaxed, welcoming and well looked after. Would absolutely stay again!

A highly recommended stay for families visiting Stellenbosch - excellent location, thoughtful accommodation, and outstanding hospitality. I recently stayed at Evergreen Manor Spa Guest Lodge in Stellenbosch and had a thoroughly positive experience that I would confidently recommend, particularly for parents visiting student children at the university. The location was ideal for our purposes. It is situated in the historic core of Stellenbosch, within easy walking distance of the university area and student hostels. This made it simple and convenient for me to stay close to my daughter without the need for constant driving or long transfers. The peaceful residential setting still offers quick access to the town centre, restaurants, botanical gardens, and other amenities, striking a good balance between quiet and convenience. We stayed in a family unit with two separate rooms. This arrangement worked exceptionally well for a father and student daughter. It provided the privacy my daughter values while still allowing us to share the stay comfortably. The rooms themselves reflected the property’s character - a 1904 Victorian-style manor with period furnishings, high ceilings, and a sense of old-world charm combined with modern necessities such as air-conditioning, en-suite facilities, and the expected comforts. The space felt clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. Clayton at reception deserves special mention. He was consistently friendly, professional, and clear in his explanations of the facilities, house rules, and local information. His approach set a positive tone from the moment of arrival and made the check-in process smooth and reassuring. Attentive and helpful without being intrusive, and genuinely invested in making visitors feel at home. Breakfast was enjoyable and well-presented, the grounds and pool area offered a pleasant place to relax, and the overall atmosphere of the guest house felt calm and well-run. While the building has the character (and occasional minor signs of age) one expects from a historic property, it is clearly cared for and provides a comfortable, characterful base. In summary, Evergreen Manor Spa Guest Lodge delivered exactly what we needed: a convenient location near the university hostels, suitable family accommodation with proper privacy, and warm, professional service. I would happily stay again when visiting my daughter and would recommend it to other parents in a similar situation, as well as to couples or travellers looking for a well-located, hospitable guest house in Stellenbosch.

Everyone from the reception to the host at breakfast was super friendly. They made our stay feel so warm and welcome, and it felt like a home away from home. Justin and team I cannot remember all your names, but thanks for the warm welcome, the laughs and for going out of your way to make our stay super exceptional. Situated in a very good spot not far away from all the best restaurants. I have been to a lot of guesthouses but what we as an experienced was friendliness and so much passion for what these people do. They went out of their way to make our ladies trip exceptional. This guesthouse their rooms, facilities and breakfast and most of all their service does mot disappoint at all. Keep it up
