Pros: - The apartment's location is outstanding – you're right in the heart of Stellenbosch. - The spacious balcony and great view. Cons: - The apartment's layout takes some getting used to. The bed is right next to the bathtub, and the toilet is next to it. - It's extremely noisy, so you can easily overhear your neighbors' conversations. Another aspect that bothered me: The owner contacted me via WhatsApp at 8:00 AM on the day of our departure, asking when I would be leaving so the cleaning staff could start. This immediately suggested that we should leave as quickly as possible to make room for the next guests. With an 11:00 AM check-out time, I found this inappropriate and it didn't make us feel welcome. Due to the location, it's an option for a short trip – but we probably wouldn't return.

The apartment is located in a great location in the centre of Stellenbosch a short walk from lots of good restaurants and shops. The living area is nice and there is a pleasant balcony. The apartment was reasonably clean but the kitchen could have been a little cleaner if we were using it but we were eating our during our stay. The photos of the bedroom showed in advance that it was a rather odd layout, but in reality it was even more impractical with very little space to walk around the bed. There was also some very mixed messaging around load shedding and backup power. When booking we were told there was no backup power but the check in details indicated that the property does now have an inverter and instructions on what not to use during load shedding. There is indeed an inverter at the property, but it doesn't work so had no power during load shedding. I contacted the management company who provided the check in details on WhatsApp, which they read but I never got a reply. The battery lamp provided which we needed for a late night power outage was out of charge and also not working, and no cable to charge it. Final odd thing was given that the apartment is in one of the wine capitals of the world, there was no corkscrew so we had to buy our own at the supermarket. Overall the location was great but would choose somewhere else next time.
Excellent apartment, right in the center of Stellenbosch. The furnishings are good and everything has been thought of, right down to Nespresso cups, water, and wine in the fridge. The apartment feels like coming home. The outdoor space (the balcony) is very large and pleasant. Everything is within walking distance, but you hardly notice the hustle and bustle. You are literally surrounded by restaurants, but there is also plenty of peace and quiet. So, a quiet place, yet right in the middle of the city. Ideal for me on this solo trip for work. The apartment has a full kitchen, as well as a washing machine and even a dryer. But for coffee, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I simply walked to one of the many options nearby. The WiFi is fine; I was able to conduct online meetings well. The parking garage is top-notch!! It is nice that the apartment complex has a good, safe, and guarded entrance. I would recommend this apartment to anyone spending a few days in Stellenbosch, alone or with a partner, for work or vacation. I will definitely be back!!
Most peaceful and relaxing stay! The apartment is very stylish and modern. Will return again! 🤍
