My wife and I stayed here for two nights. What a pleasure to stay in this historic building. It is very well maintained. The service is top class and the breakfasts not only presented well but also very tasty. The books are a real treasure including the complete series of CJ Langenhoven works on the shelves
This is by far the best experience we've had at a guesthouse! From the moment we arrived we only received exceptional service. The hostess was friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. The room was neat, clean and spacious. The breakfast was a 10/10. Will definitely be returning in the future x
What a gem, Interesting history. The Beckhuis is a historic landmark in Worcester, built in 1841 and home to the prominent Beck family for 65 years. Renowned for its rich musical and cultural heritage, it later became the residence of former Worcester mayor and MP J.E. Krige. Restored in 1970, it was declared a national monument in 1971. Stunning garden, comfortable room (we had room 6 with direct access to the pool) and quality amenities. Portia (the manager) was a rock star! Made us feel right at home from check in to check out and everything in between. Even making our cappuccinos in the morning to cooking breakfast! There is parking on site, if you have a bigger car/ 4x4, it might be challenging finding a spot when they are fully booked. Will definitely book again.

Stylish guesthouse at the very centre of Worcester. Breakfasts are super nice, wifi is fawless. Cons: Our room had a parking-view, and while leaving the room we were facing reception desk - not much privacy. Swimming pool looks a bit neglected with some cleaning tool floating all day long inside. Breakfast time seems to also a cleaning time, we were eating and listening to wooden brooms hitting the walls & furnitures every 2 second.
