The town has well preserved Cape Dutch architecture, characterized by white washed buildings with thatched roofs, ornate garbles, and distinctive architectural features. The town is also a vibrant cultural hub, with a thriving arts scene, numerous galleries, museums and cultural events. The streets are lined with oak trees, offering a glimpse into the colonial past. One street in the town, Church Street, has some of the Oldest Architecture in the Southern Hemisphere.
Our tour with Letichia was wonderful. We immediately felt comfortable with her. She told us so much about South Africa, and we had a great time together. The tour was very well organised.
Our tour was great! Pickup was on time, very informative on the way from place to place. We went to Marianne winery 1st. We were ahead of most of the other tour groups when we arrived, which was nice to have a relaxed experience before many other groups arrived when we were about to leave. I am not a huge wine person, but the wines were described very well to the rookies (me) and loves the pairings with different cheeses I would not normally have tried. Fairview (2nd winery) was also great, we were the only people there when we arrived. Very scenic and informative about the wines, the biltong, the farm, and the history of the area. We had two guides on this tour, one of which we had had a few days before on the "Cape Town Uncovered : Half-Day City Tour with Table Mountain Tour", so that was a fun reunion to have a guide that we already knew. I would recommend this tour for anyone that wants to get a quick taste of the South African wines that is not too far from Cape Town and at two wineries that are not too touristy.
It was the perfect half-day introduction to the area. Our guide, Yomi, was fantastic—super fun, knowledgeable, and highly organised from start to finish. An all-around wonderful experience.
Lovely 5 hours exploring two vineyards. If, like us, you’re not up for a full week in the wine area, then this is perfect. Our guide, Doney, was also lovely and entertaining.
What an amazing experience! From the breathtaking views of the vineyards to the beautiful wine estates, everything was absolutely incredible. The wine tastings were fantastic, the atmosphere was relaxing, and every stop offered something special. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We learned so much about the wines and the beautiful Cape Winelands while enjoying some truly delicious selections. A perfect combination of great wine, stunning scenery, good company, and unforgettable memories. Definitely a must-do experience when visiting Cape Town! Highly recommended! 5/5 stars! ❤️🍷

It started off a bit rocky because the guide was running and couldn’t pick us up from our hotels as earlier stated in the package but otherwise it was an okay experience.
Our guide Cotlint was amazing - knowledgeable, friendly, and very engaging! We really enjoyed the wine tastings paired with cheeses at Fairview. The staff were attentive and made an effort to engage with us as customers, sharing lots of interesting information. At Marianne, the wine tastings were paired with biltong, and the beautiful terrace made the experience even more enjoyable. We also had a very short stop in Stellenbosch, which gave us just enough time to buy an ice cream and take a stroll along the main street. Overall, it was a great experience. One small point we felt could be improved is the pricing for children. A more age-appropriate child rate would make the tour even more family-friendly.
Perfect afternoon option if you do not have time for a full day tour. Our guide/driver Cotlint, was very friendly and knowledgable. The two venues were fantastic as was the wine, cheese & biltong!

The wine tastingcexperience was great. We visit 2 place for wine tasting. The first was in Fairview that provide 6 types of wine with cheese and the second is in Mariane that gave us 5 types of wine with driend meat of beef, sprinbok and kudu. The experience was awesone and highly recomended. We bought a lot of wine.
Throughly enjoyed the Uncork Cape wine tour in stellenbosch. The first winery was exceptional, we loved the ambient, the unique style of the tasting stations and above all, the wines! Especially the whites (and usually we're big red drinkers 😅). The second winery was relaxed, we sat outside, taking in the beautiful countryside of the wine lands. However, the wines were a bit disappointing and I'm not a fan of jerk. But that aside we still had a fantastic day. 🤗

Our guide Cotlint was lovely and gave us lots of information about not only the wine business but also the area in general. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, although we wished that the guides at the two vineyards we visited had spent more time with us and given us more attention and information.
The tour of the different wineries was amazing. My guide shed some light on local culture and the history of each winery and the winery staff was knowledgeable about each wine and their pairings. Overall experience was wonderful and I can see myself doing it again with a love one.

Our guide Cotlin was great. She was very knowledgeable about Capetown and history of wine in south Africa. Each winery had excellent wine. About 6 glasses each stop. 1st one paired with cheese. Second one paired with biltong.

This is my first time in Africa. My tour guide, Leticia, was absolutely stellar. She gave us so much information about each winery we went to, along with Cape town, without being overbearing. She made the time go by so fast, I honestly didn’t want the tour to end. 10/10 experience. I HIGHLY recommend.

It was a wonderful experience, I picked this option as it was only half a day (and I almost regret it as I wouldn't have minded a full day there). We visited Marianne and Fairview vineyards, and I particularly appreciated the first one. Of course this is an activity that you can also do by yourself if you have a car. But if you are lucky enough, you will spend the day with the best guide, Leticia! She was the best surprise as she was smiling, talkative, and interacted with all of us, although we were a very heterogeneous group. She made the whole experience special!

I had a blast. Everything was perfect. Just about the right amount of time you want to spend doing the wine tasting. Visiting two estates with different vibes and amazing landscapes. I am not a big drinker but this tour is a must. Plus Stellenbosch is such a charming town. By the end of the day you will make new friends and good energy is guaranteed. Went on a wine tasting yesterday with Leticia. We had a wonderful tour with an amazing tour operator, the way she tells you with enthusiasm about South Africa you can tell she's very knowledgeable and caring. Also the wine yards, the wine and the snacks (cheese and biltong) were in perfect balance! Would recommend to anyone.
Our driver and tour guide Alan was wonderful! We had a great time at both wine tastings. The half day timing was perfect and both wineries were fabulous.
We had a fantastic afternoon on our wine tour. Our guide, Doney, was very friendly and engaging on the drive, telling us lots of fun and interesting facts about the area and the vineyards. We really enjoyed trying a variety of wines, cheese and local delicacies. Wouldn’t hesitate to book if I was visiting Cape Town again .
No information after making booking. No pick up or meeting information. Only after difficulty contacting the company was I given a meeting place In Stellenbosch. This was then changed 1hr before the tour and was asked to take a taxi for a 40min drive to the vineyard at my own expense after I had already travelled to the original pick up point. Very badly organised, no information about the tour and what was included. And unless I had tried to contact the company myself I don't think they would have bothered.

Wow what a day Leticia started with supers communication before the trip & things only got better once we met. Her joyful personality & knowledge were just fantastic. The vineyards we visited were just superb too. I cannot recommend this tour enough, so please don’t hesitate just book & have the best time.
I had a great experience. We tried a lot of different wines in two places, and I especially liked the cheese. My guide Cotlin was friendly and knowledgeable. I had a blast with her!
This experience was 5/5 for me. My accommodation was in central Cape Town, and Raheem picked me up and took me all the way out to Stellenbosch. Our drive over was both fun with personal conversation, but also deep in history about townships or anything that we passed. Our first wine stop had six wine tastings— 3 white and 3 red— paired with amazing cheese. Our second, we got to watch the sunset while we tasted five wines paired with biltong. Raheem knew exactly what he was doing and was so knowledgeable about everything in Cape Town. Do recommend as a fun afternoon or morning trip.
We did a 2 week tour to S Africa, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Zimbabwe . This tour was rated a 5 star because of the guide/driver . Check out my reviews of the other tours . The driver/guide was very punctual, prompt, safe, a wealth of information, humorous and a great model to S Africans . Leticia was her name. We greatly enjoyed our tour and her company as she ensured that we enjoyed ourselves , was a safe driver and made us feel good (though we were probably high) from the vineyard tours . This was a classic example of a great small group tour that I will highly recommend .
We had a wonderful drive to the vineyards. We tasted so many delicious South African wines. They have special grapes and processing techniques that make their wines unique. Each Sommelier provided enlightening details about each tasting. Our guide did a fabulous job giving information about the area outside of Cape Town too. Highly recommend!!
