I would not recommend this tour because it did not match what was advertised. The itinerary promised visits to 10 of Cape Town's top attractions, but several advertised stops were skipped. Our guide, Gordon, did not take us along Chapman’s Peak Drive, we did not stop at Maiden’s Cove or Camps Bay Beach, and there was no stop in Simon’s Town. What was most disappointing was how the company handled my complaint afterward. Instead of acknowledging that the advertised itinerary had not been followed, the tour operator denied what had happened and gave inaccurate information in response to my complaint. If you're considering this tour, be aware that the actual experience may differ significantly from the itinerary that is advertised.

Itinerary
The exact pickup time will be communicated to you by our office a day in advance before the tour starts. We will get hold of you on your WhatsApp number or on the email address you provided us at the time of the booking. Please take note that we only collect guests staying within a 10Km radius of the City Centre. Those staying out of the city will have to meet us outside the Silo Hotel on the Waterfront.
Once we have everyone on board, your guide will give you a short briefing of the day after the general introduction to knowing each other. Our first exciting stop will then be the famous colorful houses of Bo-Kap before we start exploring Table Mountain and the Atlantic seaboard. Here you will have ample time for the history of the area, your Instagram photos, and a guided walking tour.
Our next exciting attraction will be the new 7 Wonders of Nature namely Table Mountain. Table Mountain is a flat-topped mountain forming a prominent landmark overlooking the city of Cape Town in South Africa. It is a significant tourist attraction, weather permitting you will be guided and will use the Cableway for a return trip using the cableway. Your guide will help you get your tickets online on the day of the tour. It's a must-see attraction in Cape Town. The ticket price is ZAR 400 for adults and ZAR 200 for Children. It's approximately 22 USD per adult and 11 USD per child. There is free full-speed Wifi at Table Mountain.
Soon after the Table Mountain experience, We will drive down hills passing through the suburb of Clifton, Cape Town's version of the French Riviera en route to Maiden's Cove for photo opportunities.
We will stop at this beautiful Cove for what we normally call the Kodak moment or the Instagram best photos. Here you will get 360-degree views of the twelve apostles, Camps Bay beach, and the Clifton area. It's a must-stop-on attraction on this tour.
Camps Bay is known to the locals as the Beverly hills or the French Riviera of South Africa with a blue flag beach once known as one the top 20 beautiful beaches in the World on Tripadvisor. We will stop at a popular Cove, named Maiden's Cove for photo opportunities. The area offers the most beautiful Instagram-able photos, with Camps Bay beach, Cliffton Suburb, Table Mountain, and the 12 apostles.
Come with us and explore one of the most spectacular scenic routes in South Africa and one of the best in the World known as Chapman's Peak or Chappies. Another reason why this tour is one of the best in Cape Town is. You will get an opportunity to take amazing photos at viewing points on this 144-curved road which stretches for about 9Km. The road was considered an engineering masterpiece at its construction completion. It's like an avalanche dropping into the ocean. Your guide will tell you more about this beautiful attraction. Please take note that sometimes the road will be closed for maintenance.
A quick stop at historical Simon's Town village and home to the South African Naval Force base will be on the card to see the monument erected in memory of a great Dane dog known as Just Nuisance which wrote its own history within the Ranks of our Navy forces. Just Nuisance was the only dog ever to be officially enlisted in the Royal Navy. He was a Great Dane who between 1939 and 1944 served at HMS Afrikander, a Royal Navy shore establishment in Simon's Town, South Africa. He died in 1944 at the age of seven years and was buried with full military honors. Your Guide will allocate 90 minutes for lunch here in Simon's Town
Your guide will allow you to take a hike to the old lighthouse which takes approximately 15 minutes one way to see the exact Cape point and the new lighthouse. He will give the full history of this attraction. There is an optional opportunity of using the Funicular or tram to go to the top on your own account. the Cost is approximately ZAR 80 for a return adult ticket and children pay halfway. The trip to the top is worth it. there is a bit of step to take before you reach the top. Upon returning to the parking lot, the Reserve has its own sitting restaurant and a deli. Your guide will discuss the group lunch arrangements on your own account.
As we enter the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, part of Table Mountain National Park, home to some incredible Fauna and Flora, part of the Cape Floral Kingdom, We will explore the Dias and Vasco Da Gama Crosses before We stop for our first photo opportunity at the Cape o0f Good Hope the most South Western Point of the African Continent. Another Kodak moment or Instagram-worthy photo is taken here. For Capetonians, the area is known as the meeting place of the two oceans, but scientifically is the official meeting point of the cold Benguela and the warm Agulhas currents. The amazing photo will be taken behind the wooden signboard of Cape of Good Hope. Look out for Seals, Dolphins, Whales, Baboons, Antelopes, etc.
Our stop at Boulders beaches African Penguin colony is always one of the top highlights on this small guided tour. Come too close to see these endangered unique birds in Africa. The colony has grown from just a couple in 1982 to almost 3000 breeding pairs. The entrance fee is approximately USD 10 per person Adults and kids pay half the price.
Our last stop before will be the lookout point of the beautiful St. James beach near Muizenberg, where we will stop for photos with the colourful beach cabanas.
You will be dropped off at your respective accommodation or at the V&A Waterfront. And this will conclude the tour as we drove through the exclusive suburbs of cape Town such as Tokai, Bishops Court, Newlands, etc...

It was the most enjoyable, safe, comfortable and exciting experience. The guide was super fantastic and the details he provided was exceptionally well knowledge and insightful. I really had a splendid day.
The bookings do not include tickets to each specific place. But its worth to visit. The places are really impressice. Always check the weather before.
Importantly you ideally need to buy your tickets for the cape, the penguins, and the cable car beforehand
It was a great trip, great views and experience. Totally recommend. For couples or friends. It’s a must tour in Cape Town.
It was an amazing tour. Sylvia, our tour guide was very informative and kind also. My wife and I loved it .
Great tour, great guide and a very enjoyable day looking at some of the many sights of Cape Town. Highly recommended.
Great trip that took in all the sights . Good knowledge from tour guide . The lunch stop was just fabulous .
This tour was perfect for seeing so much of Cape Town in one go! We got to go to the top of table mountain, see the penguins at boulders beach, and travel to Cape Point! All whilst stopping off at other cool landmarks along the way such as Bo Kaap. Our guide Thomas was fantastic and made the trip even better, his knowledge on the history of South Africa was impeccable and so interesting! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone travelling to Cape Town.
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Sylvia, She shared fascinating details and stories that we wouldn't have learned on our own.Her positive attitude made the entire experience more enjoyable. I will definitely use Ingwe safari for my next tour.
Notre guide Wilson très attentif, explications fournies et très claires. A tout fait pour que nous puissions tout voir même la table montain qui était fermée le matin et que nous avons vue le soir. Une très belle journée. Our guide, Wilson, was very attentive and provided very clear explanations. He did everything he could to ensure we saw everything, even the mountain table, which was closed in the morning and which we saw in the evening. A wonderful day.
The tour guide was friendly and informative. However the way the tour markets itself is misleading: We didn’t go DIRECTLY to all the destinations mentioned on the itinerary. Instead we merely passed by or saw them from a far distance or from a road/hillside viewpoint. In addition, the tour should clearly inform visitors that extra entrance fees cost additional US$65 on top of the tour fees. This makes the whole tour double the initial cost. There was also no option for us to opt out or get a refund for entrance tickets , even though the summer weather became freezing and zero viability when we arrived at Cape Point, it was totally pointless going up the cable gondolas
What a great tour! It was a very long day but you hit all the major spots in Cape Town. If you’re short on time and want a well planned out day trip then this is the one for you. Giftie (totally butchering the spelling) our guide was great. Provided dialog along the tour which really brought the history of Cape Town to life. Our stop for lunch was perfect. Set in an open market area with small shops and a few restaurants, it was the perfect setting to stop for a bite to eat. The penguins and Cape of Good Hope were so fun. I could have watched the penguins all day. At Cape Hope we hiked to the lighthouse that had a great view of the surrounding.
It's a lot to fit in one day so you will only get a short time at each place but it worked out fine for us. We also got a little extra with a boat trip to seal island which was good.
Pur guide was very personable and knowledgeable. We enjoyed great conversations during breaks in the trip. Lots of great info about the history and geography of the region.
The sights in and around Cape Town / Cape Point were Fantastic!!! Gordon was our driver/tour guide. Gordon did a wonderful job of driving, explaining, highlighting, stopping, and giving us time to take pictures and visit without feeling rushed. He truly was a great ambassador for Cape Town and the surrounding area! Give that man a raise!!! :-) *The one disappointment was we came at a time when Table Mountain was closed for maintenance and service. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cape Town.
We saw so many sites, penguins and sea lions. Sylvie, our tour guide gave us a great presentation, so many things to see around Cape Town. We understand why they call it the mother city. Let the pictures represent what we saw.
I paid for the Cable Car priority cable car ticket and glad I did it. Got to jump the queue and spend more time up the mountain than the rest of the group. Well organized trip, knowledgeable guide.
Seeing Cape of Good Hope. Also saw whales breaching while at Cape Point. Loved the view from Table Mountain
We booked this as had little time in cape town and this tour appeared to give you exactly what you needed. Initially told pick up 0830 then had text to say 0810 we had early breakfast arranged by manager special for us stood outside beautiful day could see table mountain clearly guide did not arrive by 0810 or 0830at 0840 went into hotel got manager to call as had sent text messages to both viator and company viator tried to sort out no response from company manager rang they said doing pick ups now went back outside 0915 received call from tour guide stuck in traffic really you do this tour daily you should know the traffic situation arrived 0940 nearly 2 hours late we paid 80 odd pounds for the two of us plus we had park fees to pay we went straight to table mountain told had 45 mins should have been 2 hrs by time at top mist coming down so didnt see much moved onto a beach 10 min stop then to chapman peak 10 mins rushed around had a coffee break but had to take coffee on board as rushed again went to penguins next out of sequence due to late and would miss lunch 45 with penguins then lunch seaforth which was lovely will review separately then to cape of good hope which should of been 45 mins paid 400 park fees for 10 minutes enough time to get photo then taken to penguin location again going back on ourselves losing 15 mins just to see statute of dog that none of us wanted to see we saw bo napp houses in dark guide blamed us as had to pick us up not good customer service the guide was also quite vocal in the slavery making a bigpoint of white and african slaves not in a professional way. Also when doing table mountain he made reference to the fact no accidents in the cable car there were a few of us afraid of heights so not a good comment in tjlhe way he said it also his constant running commentary would of been ok but he kept repeating himself over and over again which got monotonus all 8n all.out of over 20trips booked on tjis holuday this is the one i was so disappointed in having paid 80but we still paid for everything else
Late pick up by 1.40hours no update until i got hotel manager to call told on way then another 20 mins i get a phone call to say stuck in traffic surely as a tour company would be aware of traffic and adapt pick up times. On way to table mountain scared me as afraid of heights by saying oh by the way there are no recorded incidents on the cable cars not a good thing to say. We were given 45 mins on table mountain should of been 2 hours got to top sun went in mist came up so got a few shots in but if had been on time on pick up would have great shots then rushed around for rest of trip 5 mins here and there went to penguin boulder first due to behind schedule to enable lunch then cape of hope paid 400 zar each for 10 mins to fight for a photo before back in coach not good waste of money as could not take a good look around but then to make matters worse went back down to penguins to see statute of dog 20 to 30 minutes wasted by going back on self stopped in dark on a promenade to see railway line then into waterfront bo knapp but couldnt see anything then guide tried to blame mother nature for darkness all in all not happy with the service payments for things didnt have time to spend at and guide repeated himself so much he became monotomous and made you zone out from him i am really disappointed in this tour and this particular one not worth the money
We were picked up promptly at 7:30 am, on April 26 th 2024 . The tour guide came into the hotel and picked us up and was very pleasant as was our driver . I feel remiss that I don’t recall their names because they were so knowledgeable and patient . Unfortunately for the wind we were not able to go Table Mountain but our tour guide made sure our day was full . We enjoyed this tour very much and the guide and driver were always accessible for questions , taking pictures and general knowledge . I will try to list as many of our stops and sights as I can remember . To begin with South Africa is a beautiful country . We made our way out of the city as our guide pointed our various locations and sights . We made our way to Maiden Cove at Camps Bay , very beautiful …great picture stop of the ocean and coastline. On to Hout Bay and Sentinal Mountain . Another great stop . On the way our guide pointed out a series of rugged mountain tops he referred to as the Twelve Apostles . And of course no trip would be complete without a stop a Cape of Good Hope where the oceans meet and is the southern most place on the African continent . What a memorable place , so beautiful and tranquil . Along the trip we passed Ostrich Farms and saw an Antelope colony grazing in the distance . In Noordhoek and Scarborough have the most beautiful white sandy beaches . Seaside towns in West Cape . Along the way we saw a couple Baboons that are wild and bother residents by getting into garbage much like the raccoons in the U.S. But I would not want to encounter a wild baboon, they can be dangerous . We visited Boulders Beach where the Penguin Colony lives . What a great seeing these penguins that were almost extinct at one time now growing . These penguins are the only penguins that are from only Africa , I guess that’s why they call them the African Penguins . They do remind me of the little penguins found at Phillips Island in Australia . When we arrived at the site their internet was down and since they don’t take cash we had to wait until it worked which was sporadically. Luck would have it and we all got to visit . We had plenty of free time and took lots of pics . These penguins love to burrow and when they molt they stuff themselves as they can’t return to the waters for 20 or so days to feed because their new feathers haven’t become waterproof yet and would drown or be someone else’s dinner . We then visited Simon’s Town for lunch at a very nice restaurant on the harbor . We also stopped at a small shopping village where we picked up coffee , and treats and some wonderful jams from Pincushion preserves. There were so many other places we visited that I can’t remember them all and the information our guide shared with us was spot on … our driver was a very good driver and he also had a wealth of information . I hope these two gentleman get recognition they deserve. This has to be one of the best tours I have taken while we toured Africa. It also is very reasonable for what you get receive . We were picked up that mornjng at the Marriott waterfront hotel and when we returned we were moving to the Westin Convention hotel which was just around the corner , we had expected we would pick up our luggage at the Marriott and walk our luggage to the Westin . But our guide and driver insisted they pick up our luggage and drop us off at the Westin hotel. What wonderful employees you have that offer that gesture. Folks if you want 5 star tour with excellent tour guides ( I do hope you get ours) book through Ingwe Africa Safaris and Tours . We chose the Top 10 Super Tour:Table Mountain, Penguins and Cape of Good Hope Small Group Tour .
Totally Awesome the scenery was awesome. The view was amazing. I would recommend to others. We had an Awesome tine
Very disappointing, did not take us to table Mountain which we paying for it. Come to pick us more than 20 minutes late, no body pick up the phone.
The tour was great experience and English speak guide which explained everything very well. Good driver and managed to take us to all the places as listed in the package.
We had the great pleasure of having Wilson as our guide. He picked us up from our hotel in the morning and purposefully structured the day to avoid tourist lines. We started at the top of table mountain, where Wilson took ample pictures and gave an excellent overview of the geography of the western Cape. Throughout the day, Wilson provided excellent stories and detailed descriptions of South Africa, including the history, geography, and culture. He stopped multiple times for us to view roadside animals and always made sure we were happy with the pictures we were taking. I think he took over 50 pics of us throughout the day, it was great!
Table mountain, Cape Point and Penguins sighting were nice. But overall the whole trip was memorable.Ruben was sharing all the information we needed.
Excellent trip and saw so much more of the Cape than we expected. Ruben our guide was so knowledgeable.
Talent our guide was full of local knowledge and history you got to learn a lot about all you saw through him .Great day out.
Great tour, experienced and friendly guide. Could not be bettered. We packed so much into an enjoyable and informative trip.
Where do I start wonderful trip with fabulous guide Lucadel. We came in of cruise ship which was delayed and lucadel kept in touch with us by voicemail and WhatsApp. We were so late we thought the trip would be gone but no Lucadel and the rest of the group waiting for us. Lucadel gave us a fab fun time. Plenty of information re places of interest and time to enjoy each attraction
It was an amazing exprience, Thank you Reagan Kuba for the explanations & the guiding during the tour !!!
Great trip to see all the main tourist sites in Cape Town in one day. Fistor, our guide was friendly, informative and flexible.
Mr Talent had a great personality with in depth knowledge of the Western Cape & its history. Through out the tour he explained every landmark he took us to staring with the Bo-Kaap ending up at Cape of good hope. majestic views of top of the Table Mountain looking down at Cape Town. We had a very pleasant experience!
My experience surpassed expectations! It was a fun filled and informative day. Reagan Kuba was an exceptional guide and made sure to provide information and insight at every single stop made. The couch was comfortable and air conditioned. Highly recommend this experience to people who are new to Cape Town and want to see the best of it. 10/10
Wow! The tour was such an amazing and wonderful experience. In addition, our tour guide was great! He made the experience even more awesome!! The tour starts very early in the morning, but you’ll appreciate it when you see the long queues during holiday season.
Jeff was an absolute star. Wonderful experience, excellent knowledge of the history of the region. Not able to enter the reserve which was disappointing, but understandable due to wildfire. He absolutely made up for it with the fantastic lunch location. Would definitely recommend.
This is a great tour to see multiple places. The entrance fees are not optional though, so that was a bit of a surprise. I would recommend booking if you are interested in visiting all of the sites. Silvia and Sam are great tour guides.
My family of 4 had a great day with the tour. I think this is a must tour while in Cape Town. Our tour guides were excellent and created a great atmosphere
the tour guide is not very accommodating , our group can see he is not happy with he's job he talk to much History than to tour us , its a waste of money to book your tour with this company then plus the admin of this doesn’t communicate before the tour its a disaster to book on this tour company, The tour guide talk nonsense, It’s way Better to book in the other company Tour guide name Jeff
We had a full day of fun, starting with our driver David. The pickup time was a little late because we were last to be picked up. He is knowledgeable and experienced. His explanations on everything were very clear. Table Mountain was breathtaking. The scenery of Cape of Good Hope is beautiful!! The Penguins were cute. Boo-Kapp was an experience in itself.
It was one of the best experiences ever. We had a wonderful time and we saw a lot. The guide was excellent and very knowledgeable
Greatbtour until final hour when tour guide decided to take hour detour to let other passengers buy something for their personal pleasure. Tour guide should have dropped non interest passengers off prior to detour
We chose this tour as we had only one day in Cape town and wanted to see as much as possible. Despite fairly awful weather our guide and driver made sure the tour was interesting and a fun day out.
Luc was a great guide and patient. More than willing to be our photographer. :) I would recommend. All you’ll need to see in a day.
It was good, it was explaining. The explanation was structured, accessible and left the information well-founded, allowing a better understanding of the reasons, context and consequences.
Great food, excellent service, different ceviches of tuna, corvina and octopus, delicious, attention 10 out of 10, I will return safely..
Great experience, a short tour of the must-see sites of Cape Town. A very kind guide who gave us lots of explanations. Too bad, we had bad weather so we couldn't do all 10 points but it remains a very beautiful adventure with superb landscapes.
