Absolutely brilliant day out! Kirstenbosch Gardens were lovely and so well kept, Table Mountain was just spectacular despite a bit of wind at the top, and the wine tasting to finish was a real treat. Our driver was fantastic, punctual and made the whole day so relaxing.

Wow! What a great day with Geoff! He clearly loves and is GREAT at his job. He was super friendly, really knowledgeable and very funny. We were a little late and he was totally unphased, which made really appreciated. We enjoyed the South African snacks he brought to share and he gave us some great recommendations for lunch at a local winery that was fabulous. He took photos of our group and shared them with me. One of the best guides I have ever had the pleasure of going on a tour with.
We had a fantastic experience exploring Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden with Geoff. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion for the garden really brought the whole experience to life. Rather than simply walking through the gardens, Geoff helped us understand the incredible plants, landscapes, history, and natural environment of the area. He pointed out so many fascinating details that we would have completely missed on our own, and his storytelling made the walk both informative and thoroughly enjoyable. Geoff was friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, while also making the experience relaxed and personal. The scenery at Kirstenbosch is spectacular

He is an incredible and incredibly knowledgeable guide, bringing the gardens to life with fascinating insights into the plants, wildlife, history, and unique beauty of the area. Geoff’s passion and enthusiasm made the experience so much more than just a walk. He was engaging, informative, and clearly loved sharing his knowledge, making the whole experience both enjoyable and memorable. I would highly recommend a Kirstenbosch walk with Geoff to anyone visiting Cape Town. A fantastic experience with a truly exceptional guide!
A beautiful and peaceful place, perfect for relaxation and stress reduction. The price is relatively reasonable, and you can easily spend more than an hour there. Naturally, you'll want to visit again and again without hesitation...
The Kirstenbosch Gardens Walk was one of the highlights of our time in Cape Town. What made it so enjoyable was having our knowledgeable guide Geoff who brought the gardens to life rather than simply wandering around on our own. Kirstenbosch is beautiful in its own right, but the stories, history and little details you would easily miss without a guide made the experience so much more memorable. We discovered plants, trees and parts of the gardens that we would otherwise have walked straight past. The pace was relaxed, the setting was spectacular, and there was plenty of time to stop, look around and take it all in. Our guide was engaging, friendly and clearly passionate about Kirstenbosch and the incredible Cape flora. If you are visiting Cape Town and enjoy nature, gardens, history and good storytelling, I would highly recommend doing the Kirstenbosch Gardens Walk. It gives you a completely different appreciation of one of Cape Town's most beautiful places. A lovely morning and thoroughly worth doing.
Geoff was an exceptional guide and made our walk through Kirstenbosch an absolute highlight of our trip. His knowledge of the Cape's history, flora, fauna and local stories brought every step of the journey to life. The pace was relaxed, the scenery was breathtaking, Geoff's passion for the region is infectious, and he has a wonderful ability to make everyone feel welcome and engaged. If you're looking for something more personal we would recommend this experience without hesitation and would happily do another walk with Geoff on our next visit to Cape Town.
Beautiful well kept gardens. Spacious with plenty of seating about. There was a lot of information about the plants and trees . The backdrop of table mountain made it even better
My walk from Kirstenbosch to Constantia with Geoff was one of the highlights of my time in Cape Town. The experience was far more than just a walk. Geoff brought the landscape to life with fascinating stories about the history of the Cape, the indigenous plants of the fynbos, traditional medicinal uses, and the rich heritage of the Constantia wine region. His knowledge, passion, and ability to connect people with the environment made the journey truly memorable. The route through Kirstenbosch and the surrounding forests was breathtaking, with spectacular views of Table Mountain and Constantia Valley. The day was perfectly paced, with plenty of opportunities to stop, learn, take photographs, and enjoy the scenery. The wine tasting and lunch at the end were the perfect reward after a beautiful morning outdoors. Everything was professionally organised, and Geoff's warm personality made everyone feel welcome. If you're looking for an authentic Cape Town experience that combines nature, history, culture, and wine, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. A five-star experience from start to finish.
I had a wonderful time on this tour. Geoff was an awesome guide, with the best facts about the Cape Town area. The gardens are lovely, and all of the wines at Groot Constantia were delicious. It was the perfect was to spend time during my visit to South Africa!
The Kirstenbosch to Constantia Wine Walk was one of the most unique and memorable experiences we had in Cape Town. From the very beginning, Geoff made the day feel relaxed, personal, and incredibly special. His passion for the region, combined with his storytelling and knowledge, added so much depth to the experience. Walking through the magnificent Kirstenbosch Gardens and into the Constantia Valley was absolutely beautiful. The scenery was breathtaking throughout, and the pace of the walk was perfect, allowing us to fully appreciate both the natural beauty and the history of the area. The wine tastings at the estates were excellent, with each farm offering something distinctive and memorable. Geoff curated the day brilliantly, creating a seamless blend of nature, wine, culture, and conversation. What truly stood out was Geoff himself. He has a wonderful way of connecting with people and making everyone feel comfortable and included. His enthusiasm is genuine and infectious, and it is clear that he truly loves sharing the beauty and stories of the Cape with his guests. This was far more than a wine tour. It was an immersive and unforgettable experience that captured the spirit of Cape Town perfectly. Highly recommended and an absolute must-do when visiting the Cape.
An unforgettable experience from start to finish. The Kirstenbosch to Constantia Wine Walk combines the breathtaking beauty of Kirstenbosch Gardens with spectacular mountain scenery, fascinating history, and world-class wine estates. The walk itself was peaceful and inspiring, and ending with exceptional wine in Constantia made it truly special. Completely worthwhile and one of the best ways to experience Cape Town.
This was a well-paced, educational, entertaining, enlightening, and enjoyable experience. Geoff interacted well with all members of the group and paced the walk well for everyone. He shares his information in such a relaxed and interesting manner, sprinkling in wit and humor along the way. The garden was fantastic and the wine lovely; Geoff was the magic that bound it all together though. :)
A lovely stroll through Kirstenbosch Gardens and Yellow Wood forest. Geoff and Nahla were fantastic hosts and guides. They really brought the experience to life with their knowledge of the flora, fauna and history of the area. The wine tasting at Groot Consantia was an excellent end to the morning's experience.
Geoff was an excellent guide. He was helpful before our trip in planning activities, he tailored the info during the walk based on our interests and personalities, we had an engaging two way conversation rather than a recitation of facts and, he even provided snacks and drinks that were unique to South Africa. We highly recommend him.
This walk is pure magic. Starting in the lush beauty of Kirstenbosch Gardens and winding down through forest trails into the Constantia wine valley, it’s one of the most rewarding ways to experience Cape Town’s natural and cultural heritage. Geoff is a fantastic guide relaxed, deeply knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the Cape’s history, plants, and people. Along the way, he shared stories about the early explorers, the ancient flora of the fynbos kingdom, and the origins of winemaking in the region. Every step felt meaningful. The highlight was ending with a wine tasting and lunch overlooking the vineyards at Constantia Glen it was the perfect reward after such a beautiful journey. If you want a truly authentic Cape experience that combines nature, history, and fine wine, this is it. Geoff’s walk is a standout intimate, insightful, and unforgettable.
We joined Geoff for the Kirstenbosch to Constantia Wine Walk, and it was the highlight of our trip to Cape Town. The walk began in the stunning Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, where Geoff brought the surroundings to life with fascinating stories about indigenous plants and the history of the Cape. From there, we followed mountain paths with sweeping views over the Constantia Valley before descending into the vineyards. It felt as though we had stepped off the usual tourist trail and discovered a hidden side of Cape Town. The wine tasting at Constantia Glen was superb, and lunch was paired beautifully with the wines. We had plenty of time to relax, enjoy the views, and take in the atmosphere. The entire experience lasted around 6.5 hours at a very comfortable pace. Geoff was attentive throughout, weaving together nature, history, and wine into one seamless experience.
