Table Mountain Cable Car Ticket With Town Transfer

Pickup was perfect by our guide Tafadhali Lubungo who texted us the evening before. He gave a lot of extra information on the way to the cable station. Guide came wij us up on the mountain for providing information. Weather was foggy so no big far views but nevertheless it was a great experience. Our guide took us afterwards to a great coffeehouse when he heard about our need for coffee and dropped us afterwards very convenient at the point in the city where we wanted to go. So a100% experience with a good and not pushy guide. Ask for him!

Tafa was a great tour guide. Gave us a full history Cape Town, South Africa and table mountain. Collected us from our hotel gave us the grand tour of table mountain and return us back to the hotel. Highly recommend.

From beginning to end, it was perfect!! A big shout out to Lieven, our driver and guide for the day! Excellent communication, on time, attentive, very knowledgeable and professional. He speaks fluent French which was a good surprise. Would gladly use his services again in the future!

The not so well explained 5km Uber pickup radius left me and my family frustrated. Communication needs to improve.

Lieven was a fantastic guide! Picked us up at our accommodation and drove us to Table Mountain, and helped us upgrade our tickets to fast track so we didn’t need to wait hours in the main queue. The views from the rope of Table Mountain were spectacular and we really enjoyed this experience! On the drive back, Lieven took us on a more scenic route and told us lots about the history of Cape Town, very informative and generous of him!

We did the table mountain tour with Lieven. He was friendly and went out of his way to accomodate us. He suggested to make the trip early to avoid crowds and we did make it in only 1.5 hours. When we came down from the mountain he was already ready for us. He also helped us take a lot of photos, and told us a lot of history of the area. Lieven is personable and knowledgable. 5 stars.

Tabletop mountain was spectacular. The cable car ride up- no so much. Luckily we were the first to go up so not a lot of waiting time. They crammed 65 people into one car with the floor rotating so there was nothing to hold onto. If you weren't at the windows you saw nothing! Leivin our driver was good but 4 people crammed into his little car was not. An extra car was provided for the 6 people booked but both were very small and barely made it up the hill. A small van would have been more comfortable.

The best driver Lieven, so kind! Ensured our experience was great, tickets were pre booked and we were safely transported to and back fromm hotel, wonderful visit :)

Unfortunately cancelled due to high wind,which happens a lot.Hoping to receive refund. Knowing now about the winds I recommend not booking until you know what the weather is.

Fantastic trip! Our excellent guide Lieven suggested we met early to avoid the long queues, and we caught the cable car up almost straightaway. Returning down after a walk around the top taking in all the amazing views, we then had a bonus detour to the nearby Signal Hill, stopping for more wonderful photo opportunities. Great morning out, with a friendly and knowledgeable guide.

We booked this tour when in the UK. Booking was easy and communication excellent. Hotel pickup was confirmed in UK. We were contacted by our driver Lieven the prior evening to confirm collection and time. He arrived on time and contacted us to confirm arrival. When we arrived at Table Mountain, the weather was very poor. He suggested we postponed which our tickets allowed. He offered to pick us up the following morning to try again at no extra cost to us. He went out of his way to make sure we did not waste our day and dropped us at The Waterfront. The following day we went up Table Mountain.......a fantastic experience. Lieven collected us and returned us to our hotel. Lieven and Giraffe Horizons went out of their way to make sure our experience was first class. Worth every penny and would definitely book again

I can’t say enough great things about our guide, Levine! He accommodated each of our requests and was so patient and kind. The views to and from table mountain are the most beautiful I’ve ever seen and we even got to take pictures from signal hill. This was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

Our tour guide made it really there was so much to see and do in Cape Town we must come back just to explore it all again. The waterfront area was fantastic. Taxis were plenty and the taxi drivers are so helpful and accommodating every single one.

Excellent day out today with Lieven as our guide. Lovely guy and went out of his way to show and tell us information and even took us to the shopping mall to get a football shirt for our grandson as we couldn’t get one anywhere. Thank you for everything Lieven!

Easy to buy tickets, smooth ride to the top with amazing views. The cable car has an attendant on board who informs you of a couple of simple rules for your safety.

Lieven was wonderful guide. He was helpful, courteous and went the extra mile for us quite literally—picking us up from our AirB&B instead of from a hotel in town. Also, the mountain was a must-do — beautiful views and a pleasant, easy hike.

Had a great tour provider, checked in with us he day before on WhatsApp to confirm timings and locations. We were driven to the cable car where he escorted us all the way and provided the tickets. The views were stunning and we had a great experience. We were dropped off back at the waterfront for lunch too!

Lieven picked us up from our hotel ( not on pick up list which was much appreciated) and escorted us all the way to the entrance to the cable car. He was there waiting for us 2 hrs later and was charming, helpful and courteous throughout. We would fully recommend this service. Thank you

Lovely experience. We were picked up at a hotel nearby our BNB and driven to Table Mountain by a super friendly driver. (He was about 20 min late, but I think that is “African time”). He told us things about the city all of the way over to Table Mountain. He dropped us off at the entrance and went to park the car and returned quickly. We used the elevator to get to the queue as I am traveling with my 80 yo mother. The ride in the gondola was smooth and comfortable. Our guide traveled with us to the top of the mountain and pointed out the different mountains on the scale replica of the mountain ranges then let us explore the overlook for an hour. When the clouds rolled in we took a break for a cup of tea. About the time we were finished with our tea, the clouds had rolled out and we finished our beautiful viewing of the city. Then back down the mountain and back to the hotel. The driver was so friendly and answered all sorts of questions for us. Great experience!

It was very cloudy, but our guide still made it a great experience, we were still able to take some great photos.

Our guide, Tafa, was excellent: provided us with a invaluable perspective on Cape Town, its history and its culture, guided us to be ahead of the crowds, and was so kind and personable! We were picked up and dropped off door to door by Lieven who was very helpful and pleasant. Table Mountain itself was under a cloud which was a shame as we didn’t see the spectacular views. However it was enjoyable and as we made our way back the cloud lifted. Lieven was waiting to pick us up and drive us home. Thank you

Unfortunately the cable car was closed at Table Mountain because of wind, but our guide, Lieven, was amazing and gave us a first rate day. We hiked at Lions Head, he took us to Bo-kap and then to the gardens. He also drove us back to our hotel. It took most of the day and was not the original plan but it was a perfect day.

Lucky with the weather. Our driver Lieven looked after us well. The queues are long but well managed, and the views are worth it.
