Our guide, Rodney, was key to a wonderful and unforgettable day. He structured our schedule according to the weather so we wouldn’t miss a thing. The views from Table Mountain were incredible! For us, the highlight was Boulder Beach and the penguins. Plenty of comfort breaks, food for purchase and a great place for lunch.

This takes in all the major sights in just one day. Plenty of information and interesting facts given throughout the day. Very well organised and planned. Fantastic tour guide Candice and driver Zane.
I’ve been fortunate to travel to some amazing places around the world, but my private tour of Cape Town was one of my most memorable experiences. From breathtaking landscapes and spectacular scenery to incredible encounters with indigenous wildlife, Cape Town’s natural beauty took my breath away. Yet what made the experience truly remarkable was our exceptional guide, Nkosinathi Sokujika. Nkosinathi’s knowledge of Cape Town’s history, cultural diversity, and people was matched by his genuine passion for sharing it. He didn’t simply show us the sights—he brought the stories, history, and culture to life. His warmth, enthusiasm, and personal attention made the day feel less like a guided tour and more like exploring this beautiful part of the world with a knowledgeable friend. I’ve learned that the people you meet often become the most memorable part of any journey, and Nkosinathi was certainly one of those people. I left with wonderful memories, a deeper appreciation for Cape Town, and sincere gratitude for having experienced it through his eyes. **If you’re visiting Cape Town, do yourself a favor and book this tour with Nkosinathi. An exceptional guide, an extraordinary destination, and an experience I’ll treasure for years to come. Five stars simply aren’t enough!
A brilliant full day trip. Guide was great all day and we had plenty of time at the various stopping points. Well worth booking if you are in Cape Town.
Really great tour - covered a lot of ground but never felt rushed. Saw a lot of beautiful things - highlight was the cape hike and the penguins! Tour guide Candy was great too
We went on a private excursion to see Cape Town and surrounding areas. It was absolutely OUTSTANDING!! This was an ALL-DAY tour and we saw so many wonderful things. Natasha was our guide and she is an absolute expert. She directed us to the absolute best spots throughout our tour and spent extra time to ensure we could see so many wild animals when she learned we were interested in seeing as many as we could. We learned so many things, including interesting tidbits about animals, flowers and the places that we visited along with the culture in South Africa. The connection and conversations we had with Natasha were absolutely a highlight of our South African trip. We would very highly recommend her as a guide. She is so proud of her country and she shows it off so very well!
It was very well organized. Our guide was exceptionally in his expertise, knowledge and positive attitude.
Natasha collected the two of us from our hotel at 8am. We were due to start with Table Mountain, but the queues were 3+ hours due to the previous day being cloudy, so we did the tour in reverse. Natasha supplied us with history and other information on the places we passed or stopped at: Muizenburg beach, Clovelly, Fish Hoek, Simon's Town, Boulder's Bay (penguins and dassies), False Bay, Cape of Good Hope (where we saw eland, bontebok, ostrich, baboons and a cape zebra), Buffels Bay, Noord Hoek (a lunch stop at the Farm Village), up Chapman's Peak Drive, Hout Bay, Llandudno (from where we saw a large pod (30+) of humpbacked whales), Camps Bay, Clifton, then back to Table Mountain at sunset. Interesting and informative. Dropped back at the hotel at 7pm.
Our tour guide Jean was fantastic. We went with the private group tour so we didn’t feel rushed or pressured and we are glad we spent the extra. Jean kept us in order but at the same time we didn’t feel we needed to rush along anywhere or couldn’t stop and take in the amazing views. Jean had great information at different areas of the drive and at the stops. We saw everything we were hoping to see from the Cape and more. I highly recommend booking this tour.
It was a very good day trip seeing numerous places so consequently a very long day ie 11 hours. Went up Table Mountain, brief stops at Camps Bay and Chapman's Peak fof photos. Quick stop at Noordhoek for refreshments & the toilets. Then onto the Cape Of Good Hope, also having lunch there at Cape Point by the Lighthouse. Then finally going to Boulders Beach at Simon's Town. As I said earlier, it was a very good, informative and an interesting day - just a bit too long caught up in traffic towards the end.
It was excellent. Kelvin the guide was a good driver , grest host and very knowledgeable. Only down side, time is limited at the various sites, but access was hassle free.
Great tour visiting fantastic locations. Our guide Joseph was brilliant and provided background information and insights. The timings were really good, we never felt rushed
This tour went exactly as described. Evie was at our hotel in Century City and gave us an amazing full day. She got to know us a bit and tailored the information to our interests. The day was built around when we wanted to have lunch and kept at a reasonable pace. Being a Saturday Table Mountain was slammed. She gave us the option of upgrading our tickets to fast pass and it was money well spent, otherwise we would have spent over an hour in line, even with prepurchased tickets. We discussed history, the reality of life in South Africa, and the landscape. She truly loves this area and has lived here her entire life. If you like someone who points out interesting things and history, but isn't a constant talker (which we do) Evie is someone I would suggest requesting for this day. We had a short time free before business began on this trip and this day gave us a great feel for the area along the Cape. It is well worth the cost for a private adventure.
Great info provided regarding pickup time. Everything was done well regarding timings including at sites - didn't feel rushed. The stops are fantastic, and provided and amazing experience of Cape Town. The lunch stop at the Old Cape Point lighthouse was great and offered a takeaway or restaurant. We found the restaurant food, ambience, views and staff excellent. Other guests commented the take away option was great also. Our guide Joseph was brilliant - he provided really good and interesting information, was friendly and helpful throughout. Fantastic tour that packs in a lot. Only suggestion is a slightly larger vehicle would allow guests to be more comfortable.
The tour followed the route described and was managed very well by our guide Nathi even though there was an unavoidable delay when the funicular stopped running at the lighthouse and we had to wait and then line up for the shuttle. Nathi provided good commentary and historical information throughout the drive. He was equipped with a microphone so everyone could hear well and the AC in the vehicle worked well. It was a gorgeous day and a great orientation so we could get grounded for our 5 day stay in beautiful Cape Town. We were very glad we made the decision.
I can’t recommend this experience enough! We booked this before we flew to South Africa and loved the idea of a driver taking us around in one day to see everything in this completely stunning city of Cape Town: our guide Natasha was warm, welcoming and so accommodating, her enthusiasm and knowledge was brilliant! Nothing was too much trouble and she went out of her way to make sure we had a fantastic day, and we did. Memories have been made forever and we are so grateful. If you want to see everything in one long day, this will be perfect. Thanks Natasha, we loved meeting you.
Apparently it can be variable depending on the weather conditions, but we had an absolutely beautiful day. It was sunny, good visibility. It was still very windy up on top of table top mountain so make sure you wear layers. Also, you end your day going to the lighthouse, which is an additional charge if you want to ride the car up and walk back down but you can walk up and down for free. It is a little bit challenging walking up takes about 20 minutes with a few stops for rest and photos. Beautiful scenery on the walk up so don’t miss this opportunity. You can catch the same scenes walking down if you need to ride the car up. Our guide was excellent. We did not feel rushed. He even allowed 45 minutes to sit and have a proper lunch. Would definitely recommend.
Natasha was fantastic…. Very knowledgeable and extremely friendly…. I would recommend her in an instance… Thank you again…
It was such a lovely experience, I got to see all the major tourist attractions and our guide Kelvin was so informative and helpful. I would recommend this for anyone especially those travelling alone.
Table mountain was closed due to weather but Rodney and his assistant was excellent. Rodney had a wealth of knowledge which I found very helpful. This was my first trip to Cape Town and I will be back again and will bring family and friends.
Great way to see the bay. Driver was on time and was very knowledgeable, he knew everyone's name within 10 mins (9 of us) Plenty of time at every location. Great value for money and a great day out.
A jam-packed day filled with so much history, amazing views and adventure. Our guide Denzel (Denny) was amazing. He did a great job of making sure we beat the crowds and gave us plenty of interesting information. It was a fabulous day.
Great itinerary. Fun to see ostriches, penguins, seals as well as beautiful landscapes and historical sites. Ask for Peter. Peter was the not just the best guide, he is a kind, genuine person. We enjoyed interacting with him throughout the trip as he gave us tons of information on the history of South Africa, the tribes, the nature, etc. He provided tons of little stops for souvenirs and restrooms and was incredibly accommodating. The trip itself was packed but amazing capturing a little of everything we wanted to see on the cape.
Wonderful from start to finish . Calvin just showed how good he was as our guide & driver. Looks of information & just looked after us.
Pick up time was punctual. The weather wasn’t great in the morning for Table Mountain but our tour guide /driver Kelvin was flexible and took us around the other sites first and did Table Mountsin last when the weather improved. Kelvin was very informative and gave us a wealth of insight to the sites we visited. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this tour. Thank you so much Kelvin.
Kelvin was a wonderful driver and host, very accommodating when we reversed our day trip due to table mountain being in cloud in the morning. That experience was worth the wait. Kelvin's knowledge of places and history, his articulation of information was shared with clarity and a sense of humour. The time allocated for the Penguin and Boulder viewing, the visit to Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, as well as, our afternoon trek to Table Mountain allowed for ample time to explore, enjoy and experience the majesty of this amazing land. Could recommend this intimate experience with only 9 passengers on this small group tour.
The guide was excellent and very informative. I was not quite prepared for how cold it was in Cape town during October so I was quite cold when visiting Table Mountain and the wait was more than 1 hour to take the cable to the top of the mountain.. Bolder's beach with the penguins was enjoyable. We saw an ostrich and antelope while driving along the coastline which was an added bonus. The ride was comfortable and the trip was better than we expected in regard to the itinerary. The guide went above and beyond to ensure that we had an enjoyable and memorable experience.
Driver and tour guide nana were amazing . They had a lot of knowledge and the driver was very safe. Best tour to include all the highlights of Capetown
While the price is a bit high at first glance this tour is absolutely worth it. Rodrey was one of the best guides I’ve seen in any country and elevated an already amazing trip around the Western Cape for the day. We say ostrich, baboons, Zebra and penguins… stoped in a quaint boutique shopping village for coffee, took the cable car up to Table Mountain for stunning views, and sang Toto’s Africa at the top of our lungs. Rodrey got excited at the rare moments that made our rendition of the tour unique such as seeing mother and father ostriches with their new young, or a rare sighting of the South African navy submarine. Do this tour! Try to get Rodrey!
Candy and P were quite the duo! Very friendly as informative with everything. Grateful for the experience! Made sure everyone got their pictures, answered every question, and made the trip worth while. Thank you guys for making my 40th birthday memorable!
This was an excellent tour led by Rodney. He is friendly, very knowledgeable and humorous . Our small group of 12 worked really well. We got to do and see so much in a day. The trip up Table Mountain was awesome. I would highly recommend this tour.
We had a tour around Cape Town and the Cape itself which was fantastic and very good value. A huge thank you to our guide Danson who was really friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he went the extra mile (literally) which meant we got to see zebras on the beach and baby ostriches in the wild. Danson made a restaurant reservation for us at The Harbour House in Kalk Bay which was gorgeous and he took lots of photos with our phone to make sure we had lots of memories of the day. We would highly recommend this tour and hope you are lucky enough to have Danson as your guide.
Very enjoyable trip with friendly and informative guide and driver
Overall we really enjoyed the tour. It was a very long day, jam packed with things to do and see. Our guide (didn't catch his name somehow) was very nice and took extra efforts to make sure that we got to see and see everything. We spent only a little time in the smaller highlights like Bo Kaap and more time with penguins and table mountain (which we appreciated). He did a last minute switch to move table mountain to the end of the day which ended up working out very well for us because we got to see sunset and that was stunning. Lunch was included at a delish restaurant. The guide made sure we had all the coffee/drink/snack/restroom stops that we needed and was extremely accommodating to our group. We had some grumpy guests touring in our van with us who didn't seem to enjoy themselves but we made the best of it and had a wonderful time. The biggest complaint we had was that the vans air conditioner didn't seem to be working (or the guide didn't want to use it) because we were in the back of the van the whole day super freaking hot.
Our driver, Nkosi, was super knowledgeable, friendly, and down-to-earth. My wife and I booked a private peninsula tour to have more control over our sightseeing, and he was very accommodating. He seemed to know everyone wherever we went, or at least made friends everywhere we went, all while being professional as a tour guide. He knew how to navigate around any crowd, which saved us a ton of time and headaches around Table Mountain.
We had an absolutely wonderful time on this excursion. Our guide Rodney, was amazing! It's a long day and you see so much, but it never felt rushed. Rodney was kind, knowledgeable, and really fun! Highly recommend!
This is an amazing tour. Got to see everything we wanted to see in one day. I could not recommend it enough. Our guide, Kelvin, was so knowledgeable about everything. Had a nice lunch break. There was no rushing and the vehicle was superb.
This tour hits all the main highlights if you have limited time in Capetown. Our guide Rodney was engaging, fun and knowledgeable. Great that he took photos for everyone too. The mini bus was clean and in good condition. Highlights the penguins and Cape Point. Table mountain was epic and lovely to do as a last stop of the day. Nice to have everything included except lunch.
Great for bonding with other solo travelers; the small group adds something to the tour that a larger tour would easily miss out on.
A great way to see the sights of Cape Town in a day! Rodney was a fantastic tour guide and I look forward to enjoying this tour again when I’m in Cape Town.
The tour was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in seeing Cape Town with just a few hours to kill. It was well paced and our tour guides Candy and Zane were a great team, covering all the main attractions with entertaining and informative commentary to go along with it. 10/10
We had the Cape Experience with Danson - the perfect guide - Table Mountain, Penguins, Baboons, unforgettable- Bravo Guys - 100% - do not look anywhere else - & ask for Danson as your guide - the No1 guide *****❤️👍🔥
Very good tour, you can see the top attractions in one day. The guide Ronny was very friendly and helpful Tamara
A great way to see the highlights of the peninsula! Nana was a wonderful guide and lovely person. She changed the order of the trip in response to the weather to ensure that we got on to Table mountainGreat t. Thoroughly recommend this trip.
I have to say that the guide "T" and her driver Panache were outstanding. T is most knowledgeable and very pleasant. Waiting at Table Mountain for 1.5 hours and 3 hours to get back to our hotel after a long day was not. I know traffic is not something can be controlled. I feel that if the company offered the tour without Table Mountain it would be excellent. Or charge more and do the Fast Pass. I would have gladly paid it. Honestly if I had known I would have to wait almost 2 hours to get on the cable cars I would not have signed up for this tour For those considering this tour I would recommend going to Table Mountain on your own with fast pass and using this tour company for the rest of the trip.
It was so much more than what we anticipated ,Bo. kaap has a rich historical background and it always nice to experience something new.The overall experience and atmosphere was amazing.Lovely small group. .We already decided to bring the kids next year with and we will book this trip again.
There is a lot to fit in and the guide will struggle to get through all the points of interest in the time - so don't book dinner.
We had such a fantastic day with Natasha. She was warm, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, with a brilliant sense of humour that really added to the experience. She made the whole day feel very personal and relaxed, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with her. We would 100% recommend both the tour and Natasha to anyone looking for a private trip with a knowledgeable, entertaining and genuinely lovely guide. Thank you, Natasha, for a wonderful day!
Absolutely wonderful day - beautiful scenery and our guide Prince was so knowledgeable and we learnt so much about the area
