Sunset Champagne Cruise From Cape Town

A really wonderful experience, seeing the sunset with a glass of fizz and a lovely young crew who made us so welcome. Particular shout out to Louis and Bron, who made the trip interesting and fun. Louis took lots of photos of us and made our daughter relax who was a little nervous. We saw seals and an incredible view of Cape Town. A magical experience that all four of us will remember forever! Don’t leave Cape Town without doing this!

The members of the crew were so lovely and helpful. They helped me take wonderful pictures since I was a solo traveler and the music was great too.

⭐ A disappointing cruise that excludes children! We were extremely disappointed with this sunset cruise. Adults are served champagne, while children are not allowed to have ANY drinks at all! Even non-alcoholic champagne was refused to them. How is it acceptable for adults to enjoy a drink while children are left with absolutely nothing? We were not asking for alcoholic drinks for our children, of course, but simply a suitable non-alcoholic alternative so they could also enjoy this family experience. Refusing even a non-alcoholic drink is unreasonable and makes children feel like second-class passengers. To make matters worse, the cruise is advertised as a “sunset cruise”, yet it runs from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, when the sun has not even set! The experience simply does not match what is advertised. We do not recommend this activity for families. A cruise that claims to offer a welcoming and enjoyable experience should include children, not exclude them by refusing to provide even a simple non-alcoholic drink while adults are being served. Very disappointing!

The yacht was lovely and the crew very helpful and efficient. It was interesting to meet our fellow passengers from all over the world. Of course, the operator was not responsible for the windy conditions and bumpy seas... We did see a few seals, clinging to a buoy. We didn't see the sunset, due to thick cloud cover.

A great tour for seeing the entire Cape Town coastline. It was cloudy the day I went, but that didn't spoil the experience, as the service from the *Enigma* crew was excellent; they made everyone on board feel completely at ease to enjoy the trip. The boat also featured great music, and despite the cloudy weather, we had the privilege of seeing several seals, dolphins, and even a whale.

It was an amazing experience to enjoy the serenity of the Atlantic ocean and be in the nature, with beautiful views of the city skyline and mountains as backdrop!!

Staff was incredibly helpful.and nice. Despite being a clear day and checking weather, shortly after we pulled out a dense fog rolled in and we could see nothing. The crew did keep us safe but no sunset to see

We went on a 90 minute sunset cruise on a sunny day with no wind at 5 PM and the cruise was glorious, beautiful and one of the best ways to truly experience the beauty of Cape Town and an unparalleled view of table Mountain. We were also lucky to see dolphins along the way, so it’s highly recommended for locals and visitors to the Mother City.

Not the fault of the provider...rainy and cold. But rain stopped during the first part of the trip and we saw a double rainbow. Staff and boat were all great.

We booked the enigma for R750 each and there were 3 of us but they put us in the serenity 1 which is probably worth R200. This is a scam and we deserved better than that. Your company is misleading people and I will take this further.

So much fun 🤩, the whole crew were great and very entertaining. The views were amazing and it was a magical experience. Definitely bring a coat as you can get wet and not a calm cruise, the waves in Cape Town don’t play! So if you get sea sick I don’t recommend!

Our sunset cruise aboard the Serenity was so fun! Our captain and crew served us cold prosecco as we sailed along the coast of beautiful Cape Town. Seeing the lights of Cape Town, listening to lively tunes, very comfortable seating. Great views of the twelve apostles, Table Mountain, Lions head and downtown. To top it off, we were fabulously surprised by energetic Southern Right Whales frolicking very close to our boat. Highly recommend! Wonderful memories we’ve made.

One of the greatest things to appreciate is a sunset. It happens every night but is not always visible. This one was average, nobodys fault but our experience was not ideal. Would do again though (o.

It was a memorable experience and worth it, the crew, music, we really enjoyed also spotted 2 sharks and the boat stopped and we enjoyed taking photos of them

A very disappointing experience with our tour being cancelled the day prior due to over subscription. Avoid if you actually want to enjoy a hassle free experience during your Cape Town stay. There are plenty of other options available that do not let you down like this company.

They advertise different boats and change on the last moment with less placement for spaces in the sun (the reason we booked). We think it’s misleading as the pictures don’t look like The Boat that was offered and when you book you don’t know what boat you get.

The staff has to be my highlight, such an amazing team and also the views were spectacular. Cape Town really is a beautiful city 😍 definitely doing it again

A very small boat with about 30 passengers, but the crew did their very best to make the experience memorable. Great music and friendly atmosphere, a great early evening experience

This cruise provides a beautiful sunset backdrop of Cape Town with Lion's Head and Table Mountain in the distance. The crew was very friendly, and I'd highly recommend this experience to see Cape Town from the sea.

They use misleading photos, the boat looks nothing like the one in the pictures. Also did not stick to the departing time which causes an inconvenience if you have other plans

How do you rate a minus 1 star?! Very disappointed given I’ve booked excursions with TA! I booked this last minute.com and downloaded the tickets on the app only to miss the trip as we had to queue at another counter for a paper ticket.why be able to download tickets then to need a paper one? Waste of £70 for two tickets! Oh and the Uber and the time wasted

I messaged the tour guide hours before my tour asking for a refund due to taking the robben island boat ride earlier in the day & getting sea sick. The weather was bad, the water was rocky & THEY NEVER responded. Viator refused to help me also! smh

A must do when in Capetown! Stunning sunset great picture taking excellent crew lovely champagne with the most amazing view of Table mountain and its Table cloth clouds.

It’s a very beautiful experience which anyone would be lucky to experience. And the boarding process was very smooth.

Waterfront Charters were amazing... the boat was lovely. Their staff, Rochelle and Keanan were so vibrant, very chatty and also had grandmas stories to tell also. The whole experience was lovely .... we could have stayed on the boat longer and cruised away with the beautiful views of the waterfront and capetown. They had blankets for us too for those who got cold! Def worth it!

Absolutely amazing ! Crew was fantastic and super friendly and allowed everyone to take as many pictures as they want from many different angles! Would 10/10 recommend again!

It should be noted that kids are not allowed at the top. Granted for safety reasons but we were not informed before booking. Otherwise the cruise itself was fine.

I wasn’t expecting the vessel we were on and the champagne was sparkling rose that was not pleasant at all. We made do with what was presented.
