This is a must see excursion if you visit Cape Town. There was a lot that I didn’t fully comprehend — and former political prisoners as guides brought home a poignancy that could not be overstated.

10/10. On-time pickup, easy process. The guide made all the difference. A former political prisoner telling his own story inside Robben Island prison. Powerful doesn't even cover it.

We did this as a couple and it was the highlight of our trip. Everything was organized perfectly. Hearing a former prisoner share his experience made the whole visit deeply personal and unforgettable.
So much more than a tour - it's education. Pickup and ferry were smooth with no delays. The ex-prisoner guide gave context and emotion to every part of the prison. I learned more in 3 hours than in years of reading.
