Leon was very flexible with the itinerary allowing us to change it. His knowledge was excellent. Managed to get us to the popular spots before the crowds.

Itinerary
Our tour will start with a stop in Bo-Kaap, the stunning colouful houses in the CBD, formerly known as the Malay Quarter. We will get an opportunity to take photos and briefly explore the area before taking off.
Our second stop will be just outside the framed city bowl and at the Atlantic seaboard in Camps Bay suburb and camps bay beach. which is well known as the Beverly hills of South Africa, Not so many places in the world can offer such views as the ones witnessed here. You will also have a chance to stop at Maiden's Cove braai area along the coast which offers some of the best views of this particular suburb, Table Mountain, Clifton, 12 Apostles and you may spot, on a great day, Whales, Sharks, Dolphins and Seals at this location.
We will spend quality time here, where you will get to embark on a 40 minutes boat trip (return) at own account. Approximately USD 7 per adult and USD 3 per child to the island which is home to more than 4000 Cape fur seals. A great place to purchase a souvenir and artefact.
Drive along one of the most scenic routes in the world known as Chapman's Peak drive-fondly referred to by the locals as ''chappies.'' This route is used depending on whether it is operational. Sometimes it is not operational due to rock falls, but this is very seldom. We will stop at the view point where you will have a photo opportunity of the spectacular Atlantic seaboard coastline, stretching between Hout Bay and Noordhoek.
Cape point nature reserve is a 7750 hectares, big park and a part of the Cape floral kingdom. A world heritage site and the smallest of the world's 6 floral kingdoms which however has more plants and rare species than the other five combined. This is also home to Cape point light houses as well as the Cape of Good Hope, the most South-Western Point of the African continent. Visitors could also encounter wildlife in this nature reserve.
Cape of Good Hope was named by the Portuguese navigator Bartolomeu Dias in 1487. Cape of Good Hope is known for its rough waters, rugged coastlines, wildlife, the meeting point of the Atlantic Benguela and the Indian Agulhas currents and long history of carnage as well as life changing achievements. The Cape of Good of Hope was famed by early time sailors as the corner of Africa. Once upon a time one of the worlds most important navigational landmark. from here, sailors would note that their voyages had began to take turn for east more than south west. We will have optional hike up or drive up to the Cape Point as well as take photos.
Home to thousands of African penguins, also formerly known as the Jackass for their braying. The Boulders Beach is one of Africa's only three mainlands penguin colonies. Driving past without visiting this famous penguin colony is treason!

We prefer the private tours. We had an excellent guide by the name of YoYo that was informative and flexible.
We had an amazing two day chauffeur tour around Cape Town and the cape of good hope! Toyo was so knowledgeable, friendly and great company throughout! We were travelling with a 4 month old baby, Yo-yo proceed a car seat for us and the mini van was comfortable with plenty of water. Yoyo was extremely flexible and happy to adapt plans to suit us and the weather. We would 100% recommend the company to all our family and friends!
We had Prince as a driver/guide and he was very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful and none of the changes we made to the excursion was too much trouble
This tour covered several must-see sights in Cape Town. Our driver Yoyo did a great job explaining to us the relevant information. It is not easy to navigate through a large and complex city while taking us to some of the most iconic sights of the city. Yoyo did it successfully and beyond. We are really glad that we selected this tour out of many similar ones. It is a top choice.
Frank our guide was simply amazing. We had the most fantastic time in Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula, Hermanus and the wine country with Frank. He took us everywhere and nothing was too much trouble for him. The knowledge he shared with us as well was fantastic and really helped to crystallise all that we saw and experienced.
Alain and Chalula private tours was a phenomenal experience. I worked with Alain to put together a comprehensive package that included airport pick-up, drop-off, a full day private tour of Cape Town, as well as an extensive full day tour of the Winelands. Prince, our driver and tour guide, was professional, punctual, and accommodating. The SUV used was also clean and spacious. It was mine and my wife’s first time to Cape Town and Prince was very open to modifying the itinerary as we went through the day and learned where we wanted to spend our time. We are very grateful for our friend’s recommendation to connect us with Alain and Chalula tours. Minimizing time thinking of logistics from Point A to B allowed us to focus on the many awesome and unique offerings of Cape Town during our short visit.
I went on a tour me and my family and Fidele was such an amazing tour guide, it was worth every single second. Hopefully I will be seeing you soon again!!!!
This full day tour was truely amazing. Friendly guide with fabulous stops on the way, beautiful views words can't describe. 100% recommend and sucha bonus Saidi took a million pictures for me and my parents at each place :)
I’ve traveled all over the world and do so on a regular basis. No hyperbole, Alain was one of the best tour guides I’ve had. If you’re in Cape town, there is no need to look for another guide. Consider yourself fortunate if Alain is available …. Service is above and beyond. I’ll 100% hire him again the next time I’m in South Africa.
Very Nice day. Sails, Cape of Good Hope, pinguins, sun, and Alain, the perfect Guide!!!!! Many thanks
Great experience. I highly recommend Alain. He was fantastic, professional and very informative. I have also done the penguins tour and was just magical. I will definitely be recommending you to all my colleagues and friends that will be visiting Cape Town in the future.
The tour was one of the best tours I have ever taken. Prince my tour guide was so expert and led an excellent tour. He took me to so many of the top spots in Cape Town as well as beautiful vistas along the road to Cape Point. Chapmans Road to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope was gorgeous. Prince told me the history and interesting facts about the Cape. I enjoyed the whole day. We had lunch at an amazing restaurant in a beautiful quaint little village. After we went to see the Pinguin colony which was so enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour and Prince my tour guide. Prince was so nice and kind and knowledgeable. He was so good to come out on Christmas Day and give me the best tour ever.
Alain was an absolutely fantastic guide and driver. He took the time to point out interesting facts about the neighborhoods and sights we drove past as we toured the peninsula. He also helped to streamline our entry into various gated sites and was the best photographer for group pictures! He was kind, courteous, personable, and knowledgeable for the entire day we had him. I highly recommend him more for any travel or guide needs in Cape Town.

He showed us all the best spots....seal spotting (boat excursion), Cape Point national park, Cape of Good Hope, Boulder penguins and more. The sights were fantastic and Alain from Chalula Private Tours was very informative. 100% recommend!
Extremely friendly, helpful and useful guide. Was always on time and would do anything to suit your needs. Would recommend 100%! Cannot Fault.
We had a great day on this trip with many thanks to our tour guide Alain. As typical English tourists we didn't have a great idea but Alain had the day thoroughly planned out for our enjoyment and made the trip as smooth / knowledgeable as possible. Overall I would defiantly recommend this trip and for Alain to be your guide for the day.
A private tour for two. Our guide, Mr. Prince, was really kind and courteous. Stunning views from Camps Bay Nature Park. Mini cruise through Hout Bay. We were planning to go to Seal Island where we could see seals and fur seals, but the waves were rough so we decided to cruise around the bay. Still, we could see a lot of seals in the harbor. A snap from the observation deck on Chapman's Peak Drive. Prince is always mindful of the animals, and along the way he encountered herds of baboons and springbok. The Afro pack was great. Cape of Good Hope. Group photo in front of the iconic sign. Prince said that if you climb the rocky mountain behind the Cape of Good Hope for about 40 minutes, you'll see the spectacular view. As he said, it was a great hike. We took the cable car to Cape Point and the view from the lighthouse was amazing. Prince also found the best place for lunch, and I was very happy. It was an unforgettable day with great weather and great drivers.
This private tour is beautiful. They cost us 4500 rand during the month of July. The driver guide was very friendly and flexible. He even came at our request earlier than usual. The tour itself is magnificent and grandiose.
