Private Half Daytour:cape Winelands, Stellenbosch From Cape Town

By far one of the highlights of our trip to South Africa has been our private wine tour with I&F Elegant Country Tours and our guide Esaudore. With only limited time in Cape Town we decided on a half day, private tour and it didn’t disappoint. Esaudore arrived at our hotel and was ready and waiting for us in reception early. Our tour included a visit to two vineyards in the Stellenbosch region, both were fantastic with plenty of time spent at each. But what really made the trip was Esaudore our guide, he was fun, personable and so knowledgable, answering all our questions about Stellenbosch as well as historical facts about Cape Town itself. I cannot highly recommend I&F Elegant Country Tours with a huge thank you to Eusador who absolutely made the trip!

My wife and I really enjoyed our tour with Esaudor. He shared a lot of his great knowledge of the region, and took us to some great vineyards.

Our guide (Isadore ?) was absolutely excellent - very knowledgable. a very safe driver and an extremely nice man. We highly recommend him to anyone who wants to visit Stellenbosch, Franshoek or Paarl on a full day or half day basis but we strongly suggest not booking a half day on Saturday afternoons because of huge traffic jams to sports venues - as happened to us just recently involving big delays.

Stephen was a consumet guide. He was incredibly personable. He was caring about our wine interests & desires as well as comfort. He was well informed on wines, South Africa & the world. We went to 2 wineries with differing experiences. When we return one day we would definitely look him up again!

We took a half-day tour and our host was very thoughtful about a taking us to a large winery, and to a smaller, local winery. We learned about wine, and tasted different exceptional varieties. Steven was very knowledgeable and informative, and we had many great conversations during our tour. Steven was also very patient and engaging with our two-year-old son. I recommend this tour and Steven 100 percent.

We had an excellent driver and a wonderful day. Rather than jam a ton of different wineries in we preferred to only visit two and take our time. The wine was excellent and we appreciated our drivers flexibility. Steven was wonderful. The food was also excellent

Stephen, our guide was off the scale in terms of knowledge, approach and friendliness. He made our day such a memorable one. Would 100% recommend Stephen to be your guide.

Fanny was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. She was a complete joy to spend the afternoon with. We had a perfect day for a ride in the beautiful countryside and taste some yummy South African wines. Neethlingshof winery was lovely AND they have THE nest tomato soup! And the premium wines are divine.

Ivan was great ! We did a private tour with him and he was so knowledgeable and patient. He took us to 3 different wineries and based on our preferences and he ensured that in each of them we got the best treatment. You really should try a tour with him. He has also different options of tour the full day, etc

<p>Our tour was great! Fanny picked us up right on time and not only was knowledgable about the wines and vineyards but about each town, the economy, education etc., anything we asked about really. We had a great time talking to her while we tasted some wines which we enjoyed as well. We went to 3 different wineries and were able to try so many different types of wine. <p>What a fun tour. Our guide, Fanny, was personable and very knowledgeable about the wineries we visited and their wines. The area is beautiful and we would love to go back and spend more time in the Stellenbosch and Franschhoek area. This tour is definitely worth it.</p>

<p>My wife and I had an awesome trip! Our guide was polite and catered to our interests. At the end of our 1/2 day wine tour we were left wishing we had scheduled a full day. We are from the U.S. and this was our first trip to South Africa looking forward to returning and will definitely be booking through this venue again.</p>

<p>I was really glad to do this tour. A wonderful lady - Mrs. Fanny Le Kay - met me at my hotel and drove me to a unique landscape and the interesting cities of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. She was great, letting me spend the time I wanted in every winery. I enjoyed all of them, but I would recommend TOKARA.</p>

<p>We can't speak too highly of our guide or perhaps more appropriately our chaperone for the day Shireen. A lovely lady with a wealth of local knowledge and an interesting personal background which we were privileged to hear. The 3 vineyards she took us to were quite different in styles but all thoroughly enjoyable with some generous and interesting samples and a wonderful picnic lunch at Allee Bleue vineyard extra charge but worth it. Shireen also fitted in a coffe call in Stellenbosch and a brief stop for pics at a prison entrance where Nelson Mandela was held for a time. A great tour. Excellent value. Thanks Shireen.</p>

<p>Ivan is awesome.</p> <p>He is a wonderful source of information. He knows so much and educated us about so many things.</p> <p>The wineries are relaxing and beautiful places.</p> <p>The restaurant he took us to had 4 star food at 2 star prices. Loved it.</p>

<p>I was skeptical to use an online service for booking a winelands tour, but our overall tour and tour guide were great. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the area and vineyards and it was well worth the cost for a private tour. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family.</p>
