John was our guide, and he was absolutely wonderful. My 9-year-old daughter and I did the half-day package, and I highly recommend it. John was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He made everything easy to understand while keeping the experience fun and engaging. My daughter laughed the whole time and instantly felt comfortable around him. She absolutely adored him! Our guide,Jean, picked us up on time at our hotel and began a fabulous day of providing information, excellent driving, and adapting to our interests during the entire day. He provided the perfect amount of history, anecdotes, sightseeing, and scenic stops. He photographed our journey so that we have precious memories of a special day. We were glad we splurged on the private tour, which allowed us the freedom to take a little bit longer at some stops, have a leisurely lunch, and a relaxing journey. This was the perfect way to see the important sites of Cape Town.

Table Mountain humbled us, the Cape of Good Hope stirred something ancient, and the penguins at Boulders Beach melted our hearts. This was our second experience with Kura Safaris! We last booked them for the Cape Winelands experience which turned to be an exceptional one. Table Mountain and Cape of Good Hope are among the best sites I ever visited! Unmatched natural beauty, hospitable communities, cleanliness throughout Cape Town, somptuous culinary delights, unique history and local cultures…. is what we like most! Our guide Thomas exhibited excellent knowledge and wonderful humor; the selection of tour sites, detailed overview about these selected sites, the trip was organized and run smoothly. We will use Kura Safaris again and we won’t hesitate to recommend them to our friends.

Jean-Marie started the tour, educating us to the history of Cape Town before I had my seat belt on! He was an amazing guide. He customized our tour for us because we had limited time. We could not have asked for it to be better! When he found out I loved wine, he made a call and we had lunch and wine tasting reservations at a wonderful vineyard. Excellent one day tour covering all of the key sites. Jean was an excellent guide. He has immense knowledge of the history of the area and was a pleasure to chat to throughout the day. We timed all of the sites perfectly to avoid tour buses and long queues. Jean was flexible so we sequenced each site for the best visibility and experience. I wish I could go again tomorrow!

The tour of today is so far the best experience l've ever had. Jean was absolutely amazing!! He was professional, courteous, kind and entertaining! The tour was well organised; simply Table Mountain waiting time was unbearable; we had to upgrade our tickets to “Fast track” tickets! The waiting time was 90 minutes at the Lower Station & 60 minutes at the Upper Station! The rest of the tour was perfect! Gorgeous mountains, white sandy beaches, incredible fauna and flora, scenic hiking trails, food, hospitable communities, art galleries, crafts markets, and so much more. Cape Town has so much to see/ do that it can easily become too overwhelming for some. One way to break this down is by taking a structured tour around, whilst having a knowledgeable tour guide such as Jean. Not only did he make the trip digestible, he was also a phenomenal photographer who was willing to go above and beyond to help you get the perfect shot! Jean was well versed in the history of every place we visited from, and between, Table Mountain to the Cape of Good Hope. He was patient even when we tested his patience, and trust me we really did. I, in fact, missed my pickup and first stop, but he was willing to work with me to come along. And for that, I will forever be grateful for. All this he did while not inconveniencing the other tourists. Don’t ask me how, because I don’t know! I could write a whole essay about my experience and that would still not be enough. If you ever get the chance to go to Cape Town, be sure to try out this tour and if possible ask for Jean as you tour guide, he will not disappoint you!

An absolutely amazing trip with an incredible guide, Jean took the best care of us the whole day and has a wealth of knowledge on everything. The whole day was flexible and Jean was happy for us to spend as much or as little time at all our stops as we fancied and even stopped at more places that took our interest so we could take more photos. Jean also took the BEST photos of us and knew all the best spots for us to capture the best memories. If you're able to request Jean as a tour guide I would 100% recommend this as he made this day the best it could possibly be for us. We started the day driving around Central Cape town and seeing historic monuments, before we headed to Bo Kaap where Jean gave us the full history and snapped some pictures with the historical houses. Jean then got us to table mountain in perfect timing as the clouds left (he kept an eye on the weather forecast for us) so we could experience the full wonders of views and explained to us the best way to view everything from each side. We were then whisked off to seal Island where Jean had called ahead to ensure our seats on the boat which left again in perfect timing. We then headed to Cape of Good Hope, via Chapmans peak with plenty of photo opportunities and given a full history of everything we passed on our drive. I couldn't have imagined how huge and incredible the Cape of Good Hope was and Cape Point. You could easily spend a full day there with the vast beauty of it all. We finished the day with Bolders Beach seeing the penguin's which was a wonderful experience. Jean took us there at the end of our trip when it was really quiet and peaceful. We decided to skip the wine tasting as we were so happy and fulfilled with everything we'd already experienced, even the driving was amazing with all the views and history we were told along our journey. We couldn't have asked for a better experience or a better tour guide. I would suggest to take some snacks with you, as we found the whole day so incredible we didn't want to stop for lunch and waste any time, however there was plenty opportunity to stop for a full meal or even grab something to eat in the car on the drive between stops.

The tour guide Jean was amazing. We went to several sightseeing places and he gave thorough history with enthusiasm. We traveled as a family with kids, he made sure that they were also accommodated.

Today was perfect! How lucky we were to have Jean-Marie as a guide. We were delighted with everything! The table mountain is surreal, the Cape of Good Hope is very beautiful! The panoramic view of the ocean view surpasses any cinema setting. And to top it off, the penguins' visit closed with a flourish.

Table Mountain is super impressive; we had breakfast at the cafe on top of Table Mountain and our guide took plenty of photos! Chapmans Peak Drive is one of my favorites on this tour! We spotted dolphins and took photos with seals and penguins! The view from the Cape Point lighthouse is amazing! Highly recommended.
