The tour was well paced, we were able to see all the intended spots. Esadoure was also very knowledgeable and insightful. We had a wonderful time, thank you!!

We had a great trip today with Tanya. The weather was beautiful, and she was great with all of her knowledge of the area. I always book with Viator wherever I travel.
This tour was everything we wanted and more. The route was customisable and our tour guide Steven was the highlight! He was so interesting, informative and knowledgable. Everything we saw and experienced was excellent and timed to perfection.
I and my friend book the tour, we enjoyed a lot with the points included in the tour. Our guide Esaudore was a great guide, very knowledge, funny, experienced with the content and with a nice heart. We had our best day with Esaudore. We highly recommend the company, they are good at communication and they cleared out everything before we met out guide, they welcomed us with a comfortable car. 10/10
Personalized itinerary addressing our interests. We saw everything we wanted in a short amount of time. Our guide was wonderful. We had an amazing experience.
Our personal tour guide for the day was awesome. Stephen was so very knowledgeable about everything from history (geological and political) to the landscape and animals; everything. He made the day perfect - we had the best time seeing amazing views, local wildlife, had a delicious lunch - can’t say enough. Loved everything from flowers, mountains, ocean and my favorite - the penguins!
This had to be one of the best tour's we’ve ever taken. Cape of good hope, penguins and baboons, doesn’t get any better. Thank you!!
Spending the day with Ivan (guide) and Esaudor (driver) was excellent. Extremely comprehensive itinerary, with timings to perfection. We gained valuable insight into the cape peninsula and enjoyed every moment. Thank you.
My wife & I booked the Cape of Good Hope tour as part of our honeymoon in South Africa. We were blown away but how great the experience was. Our tour guide, Steven, was so wonderful in teaching us about the country and the sites we visited. The views were breathtaking! Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting South Africa. Thanks, Steven!
We had an absolutely amazing private tour with Ivan & Esador. They were able to rework the tour to suit our interests which was so lovely of them. They changed the order so we were able to add some stops directly suited to our interests. We had such a good day with them and I would recommend this private tour to anyone. Ivan was so knowledgeable about everything in Cape Town and the surrounding area and was able to answer any questions that we had. We felt so privileged to have Esador as our driver because he was kind enough to come and take photos of our group at the stops and even waited in line for us so we could go ahead and see the penguins. All the stops were great, we were able to do a little shopping throughout the day which was fun and they picked a great restaurant for us to have lunch at as well! This was an absolutely perfect day with both of them and once again, I would highly recommend booking with them. Thank you for a wonderful day! ~Mary, Siena, & Annie
The tour itinerary is greAt, and shouldn’t be missed. Unfortunately our van broke down at noon and a replacement did not arrive until 5:15. As a result we sat on our hands at cape point and by the time we wetter picked up it was too late to stop in Simon town and the penguin facility was closed for the day. L we expected the tour operator to refund us part of the tour cost because of the inconvenience and missing out on part of the tour but no offer was made.
Our Tauck tour took us here and what a fabulous edxperience. Zach, tour director was THE best ever. It was unique to stand where history was made.
Ivan was full of knowledge. The driver was also lovely and full of knowledge. We never felt rushed and were able to tailor the tour to suit us and the children. Would definitely recommend this private tour.
First off my biggest complement goes to our amazing tour guide Steven! A tremendous guide with an amazing attitude to everyone he meets! Always a smile on his face. We had such an enjoyable day on our trip to the Cape. He started the tour with an overview of the day and then off we went. We learned so much about South Africa. He tailored the trip to what we wanted to see and do. We stopped at different points to be able to take amazing pictures along the way down to the Cape. Stopped in Hout’s Bay where you can take a boat trip to see the seals. We opted to not take the boat and instead did a little shopping with the vendors on the dock. Our next stop was the Cape and then back up to Boulders Beach to see the penguins. We stopped for a really lovely lunch in Kalk’s Bay and had some of the freshest Yellow Fin Tuna you’ll ever eat before heading back into the city. I know that you can rent a car and do the trip on your own, but I just feel like our experience was so much better with a guide who you can exchange ideas with and learn things you wouldn’t from a tour book. Plus you get to sit back and relax while someone does the driving. Couldn’t recommend more!
Ivan provided two excellent private day tours for our group of 7. He is knowledgeable, flexible and patient. He was very willing to modify the tour plans based on our wishes. He has a calm demeanor and never gets flustered if things don't go according to plan. His style is just right - he shares a lot of valuable information but doesn't overload you with constant talking. He also did an airport pickup and drop-off for us. He's a true professional and we all highly recommend Ivan for whatever touring needs you may have in Cape Town. It's a beautiful place!
Beautiful views and nice place to take pictures... We had a great time there and fantastic beautiful place could not stop looking out...
My husband and I had the pleasure of taking a private tour of the Cape of Good Hope and loved having our own private tour guide. Fanny was friendly, punctual, and very knowledgeable while being non-intrusive. We took the extra little trip to see the seals (inexpensive and quick), and loved seeing the penguins. The entire ride around the Cape allowed us to see so many wonderful things!

We were fortunate to have Ivan as our guide who was prompt and very caring. He is from the area and is a treasure trove of information about the cape, all of our stops, and took us to a wonderful bayside stop for fresh fish and chips for lunch. One of the first stops was at Boulder's Beach where were able to get close and watch the African penguins interact with each other. The drives around the cape were stunning and thoroughly explained by Ivan. Other highlights were slowing down for the gorillas on the road, stopping to talk with a shark spotter at one of the local beaches, amazing views, and of course the Cape of Good Hope. This tour with Ivan was such an amazing, beautiful, enlightening day. So happy and satisfied with this tour.

This is a fantastic tour! I it such a beautiful place to visit! It is the most South-Western Point of the African Continent! The drive to the Cape was beautiful and so much interesting history on the way. Our guide Arlene was just wonderful full of great information about the trip and tour.
We hired a taxi for the day so as to go to the Cape of good hope and visit and see places on the way. We stopped at Cape Point and made our way up to the lighthouse via the vehicular railway, I could not face the number of staires. The view from the lighthouse is spectacular, you can well understand how so many ships came to grief on the rocks, there are so many just under the surface with the waves breaking over them in spectacular fashion, as far out to sea as the eye can see. Well worth the effort.

Leonard our driver gave us a great day out. The scenery was amazing and he was very good at timing so we avoided the larger bus loads at our stops. We had lunch at a lovely restaurant right by the water and a short walk to see the penguins. On the way back we stopped at a winery. A perfect day.

We had a wonderful day with our guide Leonard and the pick up was on time, everything was well organized and we felt very welcomed. We only can recommend this trip and we would do it again any time. Thanks a lot for everything!
We drove from Sea Point at Bantry Bay to Cape Point. Wow what a beautiful drive. Meandering along the road, you eventually arrive and the views are amazing. We saw Ostriches on the beach. Baboons along the road and stunning sea. I would hire a car and enjoy a leasurely drive to see the beautiful country. Parking is easy and free .The cable car up to the lighthouse is quick and costs literally a couple of pounds each and then you have a 2 minute walk up to the lighthouse itself. It’s not hard to do and is worth the photo shoot.
We were really looking forward to this. Sadly, due to poor communication, it didn't happen. The tour operator ..I & F Elegant Country Tours, arrived at the address he was given, and told by the person answering the door, that no one else was in the house....well we were, and he had just arrived and didn't know. I don't blame the tour operator for this, what I am reviewing is the lack of communication thereafter. He had my phone number as I was required to provide it when booking, if there was confusion, he should have called. As it was, I popped out every 10 minutes to look for him and never saw the mini van he said he was driving. Anyways.....I have tried to resolve this with Viator, suggesting we pay for the time this driver spent looking as well as his trip back to his office, but they have not. They insist we pay for the entire day. I was able through email to communicate with the driver, there was 5 hours at least left of our time booked ( PS we were the only ones booked so he had nothing else planned ) We could have done something else with that time, but instead, he insists on being paid for the full amount. I have tried to be reasonable and accept that we have some culpability in this, but so do they, a fair and equitable resolution could be agreed upon, but now I have to take it up with Visa, as well as leave unfavourable reviews on social media as well as Viators and Trip advisers website. The tour itself might have been fantastic, but the customer satisfaction, and resolution of our problem is in my opinion very poor business practice.
Fanny took me and my two friends around the cape, to simonstown, and boulders beach. In addition to the attractions being fantastic Fanny was knowledgeable, kind, and fun. The trip was exactly what we wanted.
Ivan was taking great care of us and giving us a full day trip through the highlights of the Cape Peninsula. We visited the penguins and saw lots of other wildlife. The highlight was the Cape of Good Hope itself. A great day! And we learned a lot from Ivan and his knowledge.

Saw everything you could wish on this trip! Guide was lovely and knowledgeable. Driver always there with a helping hand out of the car. A great time x

A lovely older couple, Fanny and Ivan, drove us all around the Cape Town area in a van in one day. For a little extra we took a boat trip out to see Seal Island. We had only the one sightseeing day during a business trip to Cape Town and amazingly I feel like we saw everything. It was absolutely gorgeous and our guides were delightful company!!!!

The knowledgeable and personable Fanny took us on a day's excursion to the Cape of Good Hope, Hout Bay, Cape Point, Simon's Town and Boulders Beach. We really enjoyed this outing.

Very knowledgeable and attentive guide/driver Fanny readily offered insights and very interesting background stories along the varied route. The well-timed and flexible programme allowed for numerous and much appreciated photo stops along the way,

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and saw everything we expected to see. Our driver was friendly and profesional and provided us with interesting background to the places we visited.

We had Fanny Le Kay for our private tour and we never looked back. She was prompt and punctual, informative and a perfect host to show us the views and stops overs. Thank you for the wonderful experience - even the rains and wind didnt hold us back!

This is a great tour to the most Southwestern tip of Africa, and probably the most popular destination for travelers to the area. We were in a van rather than a bus, and just two of us, so it was much easier to navigate and take our time than being on one of the big buses. Our tour guide was Shireen, a professional and delightful person to spend the day with. There are many stops other than Cape of Good Hope, which is truly a one-of-a-kind spectacular place on earth. We also went to beautiful Boulders Beach to see the penguins. The tour included a stop at Hout Bay to take a short boat ride to see the seals which I would skip if I had a do-over. This is an all-day tour and we had plenty of time to visit some shops and have a leisurely lunch. I highly recommend this tour.

This was an incredible experience! Not only for the great places we visited but also because of our guide Shireen who made this an excursion to the cape we'll never forget ! She really enjoyed this day with us and she did everything she could to make this a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Thanks again Shireen, we'll definitely come back to your beautiful country and hope to see you then!
Mieke and Marc Belgium

There's no finer start to the day than sitting on a beach with some penguins. Loved it. Our guide Fanny was warm, knowledgeable and happy to cater the trip to suit our needs. One of the many highlights of our Cape Town stay. :

It was a special day spent in good company. Fanny guided the trip with interesting information about the stories of Cape Town.

Great tour, excellent guide, very safe driver! Gorgeous views of Atlantic ocean shore and beaches! Incredible Cape Point and the lighthouse on the top. Seals ans pinguins! Stories and history of Cape Town. Thank you!

We had a wonderful day tour to Cape Point with Fanny. She is a font of information and narrated our drive with interesting facts. We packed a lot into one day: scenic stops, penguin viewing, walking an outdoor market or two, a lovely lunch at the Black Marlin, and the trip to Cape Point. The views along our drive were also spectacular -- ostriches included!

We had a great trip. Our driver/guide was prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour.

The driver made all the difference, we thoroughly enjoyed his company, he tried his best under the circumstances that the Cape Town Peninsula bide race was on the same day. But he still was able to make it happen for us.

A fantastic trip, informative and friendly guide and stunning scenery, a first class service

Sadly, I must report complete dissatisfaction with this tour. This tour is advertised by Viator and the tour provider as a private tour. All of the documents I received from Viator and the tour operator referred to it as a private tour. The day of the tour as my party of 2 approached the tour vehicle we were informed that we would be joining other passengers--a family of 4. This was not a private tour but rather a small group tour. Instead of private my party shared the tour with a family. Had I booked a group tour I would not have minded. However, I specifically booked this full day tour because it was advertised and represented by Viator and the tour operator as private with the intention of asking the guide to skip certain segments we have been on a similar tour in the past and ending the tour a bit early. Instead, the family we were with adjusted the tour to their preferences and made the day excessively long and completely unenjoyable for us. I must add that while our guide was very nice and extremely knowledgeable, feeling misled by both Viator and the tour operator that this was a private tour made the entire day a long disappointment that I was deceived into paying for. I understand the dynamics of group tours and the patience and flexibility they require, but this was advertised and represented as a private tour. I have a number of upcoming Viator bookings for a July 2016 European vacation and I am now concerned about the truthfulness of those tour descriptions. I can no longer recommend Viator. Please correct the description of this tour so others are not deceived as I was. It should be called a small group tour, or at least explained that the tour operator may book parties of 1 or 2 with other parties.

A personal tour for my son and I to the Cape of Good hope and Cape Point. Our guide, Ryan was extremely knowledgeable and added an extra dimension to the day long tour.
The visit to seal island was an interesting addition as were the African penguins.
All in all this was an extremely good value and interesting experience showing the wider environment for any holiday to Cape Town

Excellent driver/guide. He knew his stuff. Made reservations for us 4 at a great restaurant on Cape Point. We enjoyed his commentaries and the fact that he was well versed in the towns to and from Cape Town and would give us a heads up prior to coming upon a particularly interesting photo site.

Excellent tour, Fanny was amazing, very lovely local lady, she really explained and helped us a lot during the day!Could just recommend her and also the tour from Cape Town.

Excellent tour guide he knew everything and took great care of us. Thank you Ivan!!

What a wonderful person Fanny is. This tour was made excellent by her lovely personality, and her knowledge of the areas we visited.
We so enjoyed her company and would thoroughly recommend her to anyone.
