This is the heart of the Cape Wildflower floral kingdom. Situated between lush forests and the shores of a peaceful lagoon, it offers many activities and attractions of a wide variety. The most well known attraction is two great sandstone cliffs guarding the mouth of the lagoon which connects the estuary with the sea. Excellent cost effective way to see the Garden Route. Drivers were friendly and courteous and communication good through WhatsApp both prior and during pickups/dropoffs. Definitely recommend.

We highly recommend using Bazbus to travel along the Garden Route. It gave us total peace of mind without needing to rent a car and navigate ourselves, while also giving us the chance to properly take in the scenery. The already-reasonable ticket price felt more than justified within just the first few legs of our trip. The drivers were always on time and were even happy to leave earlier than scheduled when everyone’s schedules allowed, which gave us more much-appreciated breathing space on the other end. They gladly came straight to our door, even when our accommodation was a little set back from the road or main gate. Both the drivers (shout out to Mzi, Jephta, and Mawande), and office team were also highly communicative, so we never felt left in the dark. Really convenient, stress-free, and safe from start to finish!

Was great to be picked up by Baz Bus. The drivers are very nice and helpful. Today Jeptha was our driver from Mossel Bay to Wilderness. They always let you know when they will be there, will stop for you if and are helpful.
This was our first time using Bazbus, we were pleasantly surprised. Our first driver was Mwande, who made the first part of the trip very comfortable, he was nice and professional. Afterwards we had Mzi, who was just as nice and professional. We would definitely recommend Bazbus as an affordable, quality way to travel.
I would definitely recommend Bazbus to anyone I know, I used their service to travel along the garden route and the driver Jephta was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area helping me to learn about the regions we passed - and even spot whales!. The Bazbus experience was absolutely fantastic. We got picked up and dropped off at / close to our accommodation. Our driver Jeff gave us some insights and the overall atmosphere in the bus was chill. Except for one day the bus was 30-60 minutes early and max was filled with 5 passengers (probably because of winter season). I’d recommend this for people who don’t want to stress about driving in SA and have enough time and flexibility to share the bus with others.
Pick-up and drop-off were on time and very easy. The bus was clean and the drivers were kind and helpful and had ideas on what else to do in the towns we were going to and were able to connect us with other operators for certain activities. Especially Jephta was helpful in this regard.

My experience of travelling in the Bazbus with Jephta was amazing. Jeff/Jephta was an excellent driver!! We were picked up right from our accommodation and taken to our first stop in Wilderness. The journey was comfortable, and Jeff was a great driver and guide - sharing his wisdom and experiences as a local from Cape Town. This is the best way to travel through the Garden Route 100% if you don’t have a car and/or are solo traveling. We would highly recommend BazBus and having Jeff as your driver and guide!
We started our tour on May 29 and completed it on June 8, returning safely to Cape Town. Our ten-day journey with Baz Bus was a truly enjoyable experience. First, Nick and Charon at the Baz Bus office were incredibly friendly. They explained the tour clearly and shared many useful tips, which helped us throughout our trip. Their kindness and warm hospitality made us feel welcome from the very beginning. A special thank you goes to Brian, who made our journey truly memorable. He cared not only about getting us safely from one destination to another, but also about making the journey itself enjoyable. All of drivers punctual, drove safely, and provided appropriate breaks, making even long travel days comfortable. Brian stood out for his thoughtful approach. He took the time to introduce the places we passed, and whenever he spotted interesting wildlife, he would slow down or stop so that passengers could enjoy the view and take photos. He always followed traffic regulations and drove responsibly, helping us appreciate not just the destinations but the beauty of the journey itself. Finally, when I accidentally left my sunglasses on the bus, Brian went out of his way to wait for me and personally return them. It was a small act that reflected his exceptional kindness and dedication to his passengers. Thank you to Brian, and the entire Baz Bus team for making our South African adventure such a wonderful experience. We will remember this trip for a very long time.

The whole journey was very straightforward and smooth. The booking process was easy and the communication with the company was amazing. Jephta our driver was very kind and gave us many useful tips for our journey along the garden route. He let us stop for breaks whenever we needed. The bus wasn’t crowded with lots of space.

Me and a friend used Bazbus to tour the Garden Route for a week over the Easter holidays, and it was such a fun part of our experience! Jeff was our driver for the majority of the trip, he shared a lot of interesting facts about the places as we drove through them, and was so helpful in getting us to each accommodation smoothly. It was a great way to meet other travellers and explore SA in an efficient and affordable way.
We had the best time on the bazbus. communication was easy and clear, the drivers were very friendly and helpful and the buses were always clean. The flexibility the ticket gives you is amazing so it’s definitely worth the money. The only downside was that on one trip, there were some random men riding on the bus but there were no names other than ours on the clip board. We don’t mind if it’s their only way to catch a ride but it made us a little uncomfortable because we didn’t know beforehand. It would be good to tell your drivers not to take random passengers on board. All in all we had an amazing time and especially Jephta was super friendly and polite!
We had a wonderful time touring the Garden Route. The scenery is outstanding, our hosts excellent and the drivers were extremely proficient. We are seniors and we enjoyed meeting lovely young people from around the world. Comfortable and convenient service; drivers know the area well. Only real negative seems to be the central office being a little overwhelmed during the holiday season, being a little slow to respond to queries and updates. Our driver for the last leg Mzi also went the extra miles (literally) to get us out of a booking mishap that put several hundred kilometers from where we needed to be.

I traveled on the bazbus from cape town to jeffreys bay and back again. The places on the route was amazing. I met a friend on the bus and we became very close friends in the short time I traveled. I felt safe traveling as a solo female.my first and last drivers name was Brian. He always has a smile on his face.he filled us in on alot of things to do on my route. I will recogmend bazbus to anyone who want to see the beauty and splendor of the land.
BazBus is a great way to travel comfortably and easily along the Garden Route. The "Hop-on-Hop-off" system is simple, many interesting, amazing and unforgettable places are included, communication is friendly and patient, and it's easy to connect with other travelers. My personal highlight: A special thank you to Brian, one of the drivers. I had lost my bag on the bus with all my important belongings (passport, wallet, etc.). He took care of everything for one night and even brought it back to a non-designated station! The customer service is truly excellent, and I'm very grateful for this big, big favor. I would recommend BazBus to anyone who wants to travel along the route in a pleasant and hassle-free way. I look forward to seeing you again soon!

Great experience with Bazbus, I had a 8day pass which I used from Cape Town to PE. Very easy to use via the online hop login. As a solo traveller I felt very safe, drivers are super friendly and very helpful. Good price as well. I contacted bazbus via WhatsApp and they reply instantly and are very helpful. Would highly recommend them, exactly as described on their website.
The cheapest way to travel along the coast. Pick ups get later and later in the day the further up the route you go. Ex. Cape Town is 7am while Mossel Bay is closer to 2pm. By the end of the route you are getting on board 7-9pm making it difficult as check out times are usually 10am. In my experience, (Nov 2024) bus was always running behind. No wifi on board. Not more than a handful of traveller's on board at a time so let's of space to spread out.

I traveled from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth during the month of September 2024 and had a great experience. The service offered by Bazbus is of great quality. The platform/website is easy to access and interact with. The girls (Waynita, Stacey, Nick, Auxie, Lumka) who work in online support are very helpful and attentive. The vans have good facilities and the drivers are great and friendly (Brian, Mzi and Simon). *** I Have Only One Complaint: I didn't like the way the driver Mr. Mwande works and how he drives the car. He drives very fast, putting passengers at risk and making the trip uncomfortable. He always calls you before the scheduled departure time saying that he will arrive early at the meeting point. There were 3 times when he arrived 2 hours early and still rushed me to put the bags in the van. In addition, he doesn't take care of the passengers' luggage.
Bazbus is a very easy way to backpack through some of South Africa. The drivers are the nicest and most helpful people ever, especially Brian!
The drivers were friendly, and the bus was comfortable. They added breaks during the trip, which was great for grabbing some food or using the restroom. The online system for selecting pickup locations and scheduling specific parts of the trail works very well. It gives you complete control over your trip, allowing you to plan effectively. One area for slight improvement is communication about the bus's arrival at pickup locations. On one occasion, the bus arrived an hour early without notifying us. If we hadn’t been at the hotel, we might have missed the bus, or the driver would have had to wait for us to return.
