My friend and I had a great time! The setup was easy and the guides were great. We were able to see seals, dolphins, fish, jellyfish, and plenty of birds! They also give you the option to get in the water if you’d like! 10/10, highly recommend. Special shoutout to Tylo (sorry if I spelled that wrong) I got to ride with him & did minimal work (loved that) 😂.

Excellent experience. Our guide was very knowledgable about the area, history and fishing. We had dolphins playing round our kayaks and show lots of seals just chillin’ in the harbour. Well worth it!

This was an amazing experience! We had a great time kayaking. The guides were amazing! I forgot their names, but they were incredibly understanding, patient and kind. These gentlemen really put a smile on my face. They helped us see dolphins and were always encouraging! I highly recommend this activity.

Wasn't a very nice experience. I asked for my own kayak but was dismissively told that wasn't an option . Then they gave a single kayak to a guy on his own who'd never even been in one before! Staff were very misogynistic. It's a lot harder trying to manage with two people with the extra weight. I'd booked it as a nice chill treat for myself, not to to be stuck for two hours with someone I didn't know, making awkward conversation. There was no wind at all it was super calm there was no reason to make us pair up other than being oblivious and rude and sexist. Will never book again

We had an amazing time! Chadley was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the area, wildlife and history. Useful tip is that free lockers are available at the reception and waterproof phone covers can be purchased for R100 at time of writing.

Activity was canceled due to strong winds. The manager contacted me to explain the bad weather condition which let to the activity being cancelled.

We had a fantastic time kayaking in Hout Bay! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, making the experience even more enjoyable. Seeing dolphins up close was absolutely magical, and paddling past the seals on our way back was a remarkable highlight. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure on the water!

My boyfriend and I went on a tour with some people and one of the guides named Thomas.He was very friendly, funny and let us took out time when kayaking. He also gave us a brief history of the area and took a picture of us at the end. The view and experience was really gorgeous. My favourite part is seeing some dolphins and having a seal swim close up and it swimming under the canoe. I 100% recommend this company to anyone looking for a unique experience.

My kayak adventure was an unforgettable experience with breathtaking views from the harbor waters. The crew was incredibly patient, guiding us as inexperienced kayakers until we felt confident paddling into the open waters. They provided detailed explanations about the environment, from the marine life to the local people and businesses. Two guides, Chadley and Clemon, delivered exceptional client service. They were warm and accommodating throughout the trip. Although Tylo, who appears to be the team leader with vast knowledge of the environment, lacks communication and people skills, tact, and patience. He is not a natural with people. Despite this, celebrating my birthday with this kayak adventure was a fantastic gift. I highly recommend them!

What an amazing experience. My wish was to kayak with dolphins 🐬 and on this day it became a reality. I even got a chance to swim in the open sea waters 🌊 We had as our guide Tylo and he was very experienced and shared some valuable knowledge of Houtbay to us. The views were incredible .

Wonderful couple of hours. Excellent leaders… the wind was picking up so we paddled accordingly, safety first! Saw some dolphins and seals and received some excellent history lessons on this bay. Cannot recall the names of the two guides.

We LOVED kayaking in Hout Bay! Seeing the rescue seals was the highlight, especially since one was cruising around our kayak! We even saw a penguin! It was beautiful and a blast! Anthony was a great guide, and we enjoyed him and the experience so much! Thank you, team!!!!

We went out with Kayak Adventures for a tour around Hout Bay on a nice sunny day. There was no wind, and the conditions were great. We didn’t have any issues using the sit on top kayaks, and the guides were very helpful. They were also very knowledgeable about the local conditions, history and wildlife. I would absolutely do this again, and recommend it to anyone who might like to try something new in a beautiful place.

What a beautiful view to experience from right within the waves! Our guide was amazing - entertaining us with stories and history of Hout Bay and we even spotted a lone penguin :) Highly recommend!

I've done the Kayak Adventure in Hout Bay twice and both times have been beyond amazing. The staff and guides are so friendly, accommodating, patient and fun to be around. I had a blast with my guide Layton, he is so knowledgable and patient and brings so much of life and joy to the trip. Seeing the dolphins were definitely the highlight, it felt so surreal! Kayak Adventures are a MUST when you're in Cape Town.
