The 07:00 tour was very pleasant, easy pased. We were an uneven group so i got to share my kayak with one of the guides, who very knowledgeable. We saw dolphins, seals and even a couple of penguens from afar. All in all a great way to start your day in Cape Town

I had an absolute blast with Cape Kayak Adventures! Seeing the city, Lion’s Head, and the Sea Point Promenade from the water is a completely different experience—it’s easily the best way to start the day. The wildlife on this trip was mind-blowing. The dolphins came pretty close to our kayaks, which was magical, and we were lucky enough to spot a Sunfish and several playful seals too! It was also so cool to look up and watch the paragliders soaring above us while we paddled. The guides were fantastic—super friendly, high-energy, and very knowledgeable. They made sure everyone felt safe and confident before we hit the water. A massive plus is that they take plenty of photos during the tour, so you can focus on the paddling and the views while they capture all the best moments for you! The whole trip was professionally run from start to finish. If you want an active morning with a professional team and breathtaking views, this is a must-do in Cape Town. Highly recommend!
An awesome, thrilling, mind-blowing, yes incredible experience. If I could do it at almost 70 then anyone can. Me with my fear of water, going out onto the open seas. Guys give Tracy and Team a go. We were three in our group and I decided to keep up with the Jones`:-) I said I can´t swim and need a drown proof life jacket. The team played along and gave me a 100% drown proof jacket. How do I know it was drown-proof? Because I am here to tell the tale. The weather was AWESOME. Beautiful blue skies. We saw an incredible amount of sea creatures: Dolphins, seals, fish, birds, Jackass Penguins and this all added to the ultimate experience. Also a seal killing an octopus for his breakfast. When heading back to shore, a dolphin decided to do a few flips around our kayak. My partner and I forgot the time and Noah had to tow us to shore as our two hours had elapsed. We told everyone (12 other Kayakers) our Kayak had a puncture, hence the tow-in. You´ve got to do it in order to experience this thrill. My next visit to Cape Town will definitely include CAPE KAYAK ADVENTURES: THEY´RE SIMPLY THE BEST.
Great day on the water! The guides were great at spotting wildlife (we saw a seal, loads of dolphins and penguins!) and were great at ensuring everyone was on track. I’d do it again in a heartbeat!
I was there for Christmas, and I had a great time and a lot of fun. It was a perfect morning and a great way to start the day. The view is breathtaking, showing a different view of the city and mountains. The water was clear and blue, though it looked deep, it looked and felt inviting. I highly recommend you do it.
We were really excited to do our kayak adventure, but arrived and the bay was full of fog. Luckily Tracy had an amazing “we can go anyway!” attitude, and her, Nick and Noah took us out into the bay. It did NOT disappoint! The fog lifted and we had dolphins, seals, more dolphins, a WHALE, more dolphins and jellyfish! What an amazing experience! The guides were just fantastic and the experience was 10/10. Thank you!

We had an incredible time kayaking with Cape Kayak! The team were very kind and offered to take us out even though we had missed the initial planned departure, for which we are so grateful! Being so close to multiple beautiful southern right whales, plus dolphins and seals, was truly an incredible, unforgettable experience! Even if we hadn’t had these unbelievable encounters with marine life we would still have loved the beautiful views and experiencing the city from the water! Gavin our guide was excellent and we had an amazing trip! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
My teenage son and I decided to go kayaking when we were on our vacation in Cape Town. It was our first time in Cape Town. A friend of mine who is from Cape Town recommended this to get a different perspective from water to see Table Mountain and some wildlife which we did. We saw so many dolphins just swimming right next to us. It was a great arm workout too. So much fun! The guides were so warm and welcoming too! I would definitely do it again when we come back.

It is easy to understand why Cape Kayak Adventures is so well rated, they do their fantastic outings with a passion! And what better backdrop than the spectacular Table Mountain with the city sprawling at its feet. The morning outing was really worth the early wake up. The see was calm and the marine life abundant! Even though no sighting is guaranteed we were very lucky to see the local Heaviside dolphins popping up around us. Seals were fishing as well and a massive sunfish was basking in the sun. Just incredible! It is the perfect morning activity and a great way to explore the spectacular nature at Cape Town’s doorstep. Would definitely do this again as no outing is the same!
It was amazing experience! 2 hours in the Atlantic! We saw dolphins, penguins and big Sunny Fish. The water was very clear and the view of Cape Town and Table mountain was unforgettable!!! Just do it!!!
I booked this experience as a surprise for my parents. Even though we'd lived in Cape Town for 20 years, it's something we kept we had to do/had to remeber to do. They absolutely loved it! The guides were friendly, but clear on instructions and rules to keep us safe. We were very lucky to have perfect weather, not a drop of wind, clear water, and sunny skies. We saw dolphins and a seal, and the guides were knowledgeable about the sea life in the area. I would definitely recommend this experience with Kayak Adventure in Cape Town to others, and I will likely do it again in the future!

Thx to our excellent guides John, Deidre and Josh, who shepherded our family group of 5 adults and 5 children safely and expertly out from 3 Anchor Bay along the coastline passed the Green Point stadium. It was a big effort for some of the group but worth the challenge when we were surrounded by feeding and then playing dusky dolphins. And on the way back we encountered a sun fish. Brilliant. The coastal views were beautiful and we were exceptionally lucky with the sea and weather conditions. This trip was worth the effort and gave a great sense of achievement. Even with a couple of our boats needing a tow. Everyone is different but I think 8 years is as young as you want to go and make sure they are happy on the water.
I never went to the activity because the car broke down hence I did not make it on time. I ask for them to at least change the time or date but refused. We asked for refund but never got a response from them. Unforeseen circumstances always occurs, it’s business but be accommodating of unforeseen circumstances. We really were looking forward to this experience
Really enjoyed the kayaking session. Saw dolphins and a humpback whale in the distance. Great views on the city and mountains from a different perspective. I'm an experienced kayaker but there were also beginners in the group, it worked for all different levels. Our guide Theo was great, really recommend.
What an amazing experience! I felt a little nervous at first, but our guides were so knowledgeable, patient and helpful. The views were amazing, we saw some sea life and being on the ocean like that was something I'll always remember.

What an amazing day! We were greeted so friendly when we arrived at the Cape kayak adventure kiosk. After signing in we were assigned a locker to leave all our belongings. On the beach we were instructed on how to row correctly and safely. Our guide fitted us in the kayaks and made sure that we are comfortable and that we understand all the instructions given. Out on the ocean our guide gave us information about the coastline and animals we saw along the way, which included sunfish, seals and dolphins. The guides where respectful of the animals and never tried to chase them, intimidate them or cut them off. We where in their environment and we let them come to us. The guides checked on us every now and then during the trip to make sure we were still comfortable. Afterwards we could wash down in a shower located in the shop. Collect our belongings and be on our way. Our guide emailed a link to all the photos they took during our trip. This was an experience I would recommend to anyone. Amazing guides, amazing trip, truly spectacular!

The guides were knowledgable and very friendly, the equipment and kayaks were of great quality and the conditions of the ocean when we went at 7am were absolutely perfect. It’s definitely the best time of the day to go! We managed to witness seals and dolphins from a very short distance and it was magical. Depending on the day you can catch them in a very playful mood, but even if they’re just gliding past you in the water it’s an incredible experience! Well worth it.
