I had a tour on 26.12.2024. I don’t understand my tour guide’s English He is very rushing all the time that i dont feel like im having a vacation I just visit Namibia with a local tour guide and they are fantastic so i am not sure is it different country different style or i am not lucky to seems like a random guy during this holiday season His knowledge also not up to par He is very confident about HALAL food and brought us to Harbour View Restaurant saying that their chicken/beef/lamb is halal. He is totally wrong, if u dont know than just say you dont know. Halal food is not anything as long as not PORK, chicken/meat should be slaughtered in HALAL way and have the certificate. I dont like when i was not given an option of the restaurant (or he gets commission for bringing the tourist? I dont know) Wine Estate visit is the most useless trip, staff and environment is not educative. I am aware i cant drink alcohol but there is no welcoming drinks (at least mineral water/juice) no cheese nothing You should cater for Muslim friendly package.. eventhough we cant drinks ,some sort of knowledge about the process is fun too.

Fabulous tour, a long day but fits a lot in. Good combination of coastal things, along with the wine growing areas. Denver was an amazing guide. He was so well organised, with plan B's to call on when needed.
Reginald was my assigned tour guide. Once he arrived at my hotel, I noticed there were no other passengers inside the van. I actually thought they were going to cancel my tour because of the weather, as it was quite rainy. Fortunately, the rain cleared up, and Reginald gave me a hell of a tour! Reginald treated me like royalty, and he even stood in as my personal photographer (take a look at the pics!). Reginald is quite knowledgeable about the Cape, and his passion for sharing his experiences and knowledge is second to none. What I loved most about the tour was Reginald's enthusiam and humor—and of course the wine during the tastings! I highly recommend this tour!
After the super experience with Denver our guide for the half day city tour we requested him again for the full day tour. Our guide was very informative. He could tell us about the history of Cape Town and the modern city, and the surrounding areas. We throughly enjoyed both tours
The actual locations we went to during this tour were great, don’t get me wrong. But the tour guide, Chris (if that’s even his name, he spoke Afrikaans, Spanish, and Dutch), was absolutely awful. He was super negative the entire time and was EXTREMELY rude to almost everyone he came into contact with. Yelling at Muslim women and cursing at parking attendants. He also made everyone in the tour uncomfortable when he stopped to buy weed... We even met up with some of the other tour guests the following day and the consensus was the same. What a jerk. We couldn’t wait to get the whole thing over with.
Highly recommended !!! We had an amazing time - did the private tour as able to do and see everything we wanted with a knowledgeable tour guide who was great!
This tour was excellent and informative, with plenty of stop offs to see the cape peninsular, penguins at boulders beach, town of Stellenbosch and wine testing. The guide Freezo was superb.
the whole trip to kruger and then to chobe with the Livingstone falls in between with good plane flights all organised by Camp Africa everything was A1
The tour covered a lot of ground in a short amount of time! Great if you only have a weekend to explore Cape Town and the peninsula. The tour hits many big stops like Boulders Beach penguin colony, Stellenbosch (town and 1 winery tasting), Cape of Good Hope and Chapman's Peak drive. Only disappointment was not being able to get around and walk at Muizenburg beach, we just drove through it. Friso was an energetic and knowledgeable guide who took time to point out the legacy of townships from the apartheid era. The bus was comfortable and seats 12 max so the tour feels cozy. Good value considering the amount of ground you cover!
Although the weather could have been a little better, we very much enjoyed the day tour Best of the Cape. Our guide Friso managed to find the right balance between giving personal attention and giving space to be able to enjoy all the beauty that the Cape has to offer. The information provided by Friso enabled us to get a good picture of Cape Town, the area and the residents. All in all a very interesting and fun tour that is definitely worth it.

I think this tour offers exactly what it promises. We had a long distance to cover and in addition drove for about one hour through cape town for pickups in the morning. With the exception of cape point the visits were brief, and even though the traffic wasn't bad we almost missed the boat trip and didn't have much time at the final stop, the botanical gardens. Our driver / tour guide was friendly and talkative but didn't appear to know an awful lot about the history of the places. I'm still giving it 4 stars because I didn't expect anything else.

fantastic trip, guide was nice and informative!
Loved the scenic points and penguin encounter was great too...
highly recommended.

I actually booked somewhere else, but I was placed with African Eagle and it was great. We had so much fun. As I only had one day and wanted to see all the highlights, this was perfect for me. We had a great group, called the family of Farouk, who was our guide. Farouk did a great job by telling us a lot and having many good jokes.
i had an excellent tour. i changed my mind to the pick up point which caused this company some last minute inconvenience. they handled it very well and they picked me up at the right place, on time. very well organised company with excellent tour guides

Our tour guide was awesome and very informative. He answered any question of the riders. Made the experience even more fun. The only downside is that the "wifi" on the bus never worked. Outside of that, I enjoyed it!

Our guide, Riso (misspelled) , was great! He even took pictures for me as my phone was out of order. He will send them to me soon, I hope!
We Covered a lot of territory on this trip! Again, I love the small group. It's the only way to see a place.

It was a nice tour at cape town and be sure if it is possible for me to do it again I will never hesitate.I remember the tour at Cape of good hope,Cape point,Pingouins,Baboons along the road before arriving at the light house.I keep always in my mind the visit at Stellenbosch and the wine and cheese tasting at Zevenwacht after the stop at the beautiful beach at Muizenberg.Thank you for the guide who knows very well this part of South Africa and also for his colleague.Hope to do this tour again again and again.I recommend it to anyone.

This was the best tour we took in cape town, it was not rushed and we had enough time at each location. Our guide faroukh was informative, chatty and had a great sense of humor. He made sure everyone in the group was getting along. The only thing I would change is the lunch spot, it wasn't the best lunch we had in cape town. We would highly recommend this tour to everyone.

Both the morning tour of Cape of Good Hope/Cape Point and the Stellenbosch Tour were enjoyable. Highly recommend both for first timers to Cape Town.

Awesome time, seeing everything you want to see around the cape. Amazing tour guide and very informative.

My wife and I visited Cape Town and did the full day Highlights of Cape Town tour by minibus organized by African and Eagle which took visitors down to the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point then back up to the Stellenbosch wine region before returning to Cape Town. We were collected at 8:50am and returned to the hotel at 5.30pm and we were accompanied by approximately 10 adults and one small girl comprising three separate parties. The first thing to note is that this is a long journey and involves a lot of driving for the guide. The trip is a very good way of seeing the region outside of Cape Town, but there is a lot for the guide to do. Any time lost in the morning can only be made up by shortening stops later in the day, at which point the guide has to mediate between the requirements of each party. The guide tried his best to please everybody and for this should be commended for what is quite a stressful day. However we do have some criticisms of the tour:- 1. The drivers microphone was not working making it very difficult to hear for people at the back of the bus. 2. Time was lost at Cape Point whilst the driver collected payment for any persons who had not paid in advance. In our opinion this was unnecessary if payment had been resolved prior to the works commencing. 3. The part of the tour, which included wine tasting was arranged on a Saturday when a number of the vineyards close early. Hence it was missed. Also the only wine tasting on offer from an open vineyard incurred an additional cost. In future we would recommend taking separate tours for the Cape and separate tours for Stellenbosch provided this gave more time at each site. Would we use African & Eagle again: probably not: we would either make are own arrangements or pay more for a private tour.
I recommend the agency, I handled the booking by whatsapp and everything worked perfectly. We were picked up at the hotel on time, the tourist guide Friso was super friendly, very cheerful and helpful always!
