My mother and I had the most incredible experience with the entire team during our flying dress session in Cape Town. From start to finish, everything was handled with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. A special thank you to Kas, the owner, for creating such a seamless and organized experience. Fitima, our stylist, made us feel absolutely beautiful and confident — especially my 80-year-old mother. She was patient, attentive, and made sure every detail was perfect. Blessing, our photographer, was phenomenal. She was encouraging, gave clear direction, and captured our moments with such grace and artistry. We even received our photo gallery the very next day to begin selecting our favorites — such an impressive turnaround! We are now eagerly looking forward to receiving the edited images. Our session ran over because one of our earlier excursions extended beyond schedule, but the team was incredibly accommodating, supportive, and understanding. There was no pressure — only kindness and flexibility. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we still had a beautiful, stress-free experience. This was a milestone 80th birthday celebration for my mother, and this team helped us capture memories we will treasure forever. If you’re considering a flying dress experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Kas, Fitima, and Blessing. Thank you all for making us feel celebrated, beautiful, and cared for every step of the way. 💛

We booked our photo shoot and met at the beach. The wind must have been 50 mph. The shoot was horrible. We were sandblasted the whole time. Our hair and dresses were blown so bad. When we got the proofs we could not pick out 2 good pictures!! Flying dress agreed the shoot should not have happened. Dresses were horrible for full figured girls. We were told we would get our money back by Kas, the owner. We have spoken and wrote numerous times. As of December no refund, no pictures and the silent treatment. I have written and called for the last two months and nothing. He promised he would send our refund. DO NOT USE Flying Dress!!!

It was a great experience. We had a range of things planned during our 2 week stay and the dresses were def a highlight. It was 6 of us and we were told the session would be 90 minutes. It went well over 3 hours so it cut into our next venture. We managed but this is more about f a tip to be more mindful of scheduling appointments. But we had a blast nonetheless. Can't wait to see the final pics! The staff was phenomenal!!

We did a Cape Town couples photo shoot on Camps Bay beach at the last minute but we love our pictures. Kas, the owner, was so patient in answering all of my questions for hours prior to my flight and arranged everything with ease. Fatima and Freddy did a fantastic job of helping us look like movie stars. We will use this company again as we continue our travels around the globe. Thank you

I chose the flying dress photoshoot to celebrate my 40th birthday and decided on a solo holiday to Cape Town, the beautiful Mother City, as a way to reset and embrace this milestone. My dress assistant, Fatima, made me feel incredibly comfortable, while Philli, my photographer, exhibited remarkable patience with me during my first ever professional shoot. I was flying from the US to Cape Town South Africa.I wanted to do the flying dress photoshoot.I work with KASSIM.. He was great telling me everything that I was going to experience all my photoshoot.Once I got to Cape Town.South Africa, my dress assistant Fatima, was wonderful and she made my photo.Shoot come out beautiful

I had an amazing time doing this flying dress photoshoot in Cape Town! I booked last minute because I was watching the weather and wanted a gloriously sunny day. Even with such short notice, the team was very communicative and answered my questions. I chose the Camp’s Bay location because I felt it best captured the mountain and sea spirit of the city. On the day, I showed up and got dressed up - my first choice wasn’t available (purple) but I’m really happy with my orange dress because the color really popped. And I felt like a queen 🧡👑 because I was solo there weren’t any issues with timing. Philli (the photographer) was a bit frustrated at first because although he scouted a site for the shoot, I had wanted a particular shot that I had seen on the Instagram page that was in a different area - while he didn’t get the creative flexibility from my particular shoot, it was still a wonderful experience with great music and he helped me with some poses. Fatima (she is the dress coordinator and helps the dress fly in the photos) painted my face artistically at the end for different types of photos and those were just stunning. I loved her artistry and I kept the paint on the rest of the day just because. Overall it was a lovely experience and totally worth it if you want to do a flying dress shoot!

This group photo shoot was amazing! Our group consisted of a total of 8 family and friends. Prior to our photo shoot we were contacted by Kaz to request our dress color choices/preferences. On the day of the photoshoot I was in contact with Kaz and we were able to talk thru the photo shoot prep de to the large group. He helped with a last minute request and I am so grateful! Something to keep in mind, the shop where the dresses are and where you change is very small (cute but small) and only 1-2 people can get dressed at a time. When we arrived we met the support team (Mo, Fatima and another young lady, I can’t remember her name) and Phili, our photographer. Fatima was so caring and kind with my 76 year old mother. Fatima made her feel comfortable with the dress selection and suggested hairstyles. She stood with her while we were on the beach, helped her put on her shoes. Fatima was amazing! We chose the Camps Bay beach option, which is directly across the street from the shop we changed in. The group was large but Phili was able to have fresh photo ideas for each of us. He was patient and kind. He gave great group photo options and we trusted him with our poses. Mo was the perfect assist! She helped with creating the perfect dress flight! She also helped us keep up with all of our things. Thanks Mo! Feedback: dress choice confirmation/execution, though we gave our colors choices/preferences in advance, when we arrived the confirmed colors were not available for 2 in the party. Kaz was apologetic and took responsibility for the inconvenience. He was open to the feedback and although we couldn’t get the right colors we appreciated him taking responsibility. Fortunately our group is very understanding and know they look good in just about anything! The team helped the two affected party members find alternate choices. They looked amazing! We received our digital photos a week later and were pleased with the photos. Phili gave us some really great options to choose from. It was a really great experience especially with a group of friends and/or family!

Thank you to the wonderful team at Flying Dress Cape Town. I came with a large group, and they were very accommodating. Each one of us was given special attention to ensure all of the dresses were tied differently so we all had a unique look. The scenery was beautiful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with a few minor hiccups. (1) There was some confusion over the colors we chose and availability. We were asked to send 2 color choices a few weeks before we arrived. Unfortunately, the day before the shoot, we were told some of the colors we chose were unavailable. We managed to all pick a color we were happy with. (2) I question how often the dresses are cleaned. There were NOT a lot of visible stains, but I did wonder. During our group photoshoot, a bird pooped on me & one of my friends, and it landed on the dresses. The team assisted us in getting it cleaned off & it doesn't seem visible in the photos. (3) The dresses were very wrinkled. They have a steamer and will try to get some of the wrinkle out. This is very time consuming and may not be an option if you're with a large group. I recommend requesting they send you pictures of your color choices to verify availability and request it be steamed before you arrive. Despite these issues, I would recommend this experience.

The views were amazing. The photographer was so patient since it was my first time doing a flying dress shoot. The assistant was also hands on despite the wind being in our face. I had a great experience and would gladly do this again

The photo shoot was amazing and everyone involved was professional, accommodating, patient and a pleasure to work with. The venue was fabulous and we all felt like supermodels. The accessories provided added a uniquely South African flavor. The only disappointment is that two of the ladies in our group were not able to get the color dress they had reserved and their partners had color coordinated shirts. But they were able to get acceptable alternatives so everything turned out beautifully. I would highly recommend this experience with this company; it will give you beautiful memories you can literally look back on for a lifetime.

I booked the flying dress shoot with Mbali and her team to celebrate my 40th Birthday. I loved the patience and professionalism. The shoot was very organized and I was given the option of props to enhance my look. I loved every minute of it! Thank you again for making me feel special on that day ❤️

The team was good! I did love the options to shoot! That was a huge plus. I just have a few suggestions as a person who has done several flying dress photoshoots. 1. Reschedule the shoot is the weather forecast isn't sunny for day shoots. My background was gloomy and I had to edit myself to try brighten them a bit. That pretty vibrant green dress wasn't vibrant in the pictures. 2. Let the client pick the pictures they want edited. What the photographer or team likes may not be what the client likes. I have ALWAYS picked my photos for editing, that wasn't the case here. One picture in particular was edited and my eyes are clearly closed.

Me and my friend had a photoshoot with FLYING DRESS CAPE TOWN on the 4th of November 2023. The experience was amazing, the team's hospitality was a 5 star treatment. The team was so nice, accommodating and made the shoot to be fun, they were so patient with us to guide us through the pose we needed to do, this was my very first experience where you can actually see my genuine smile on the pictures, both me and my friend looks so amazing on the dress. I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU TO THE TEAM and would recommend them to anyone who would love a fun photoshoot where results are amazing

My friend and I booked a photo shoot with Flying Dress Cape Town and we enjoyed every minute of it. The photo shoot was well co-ordinated and planned. The organisers helped us choose a venue for the photo shoot. Travel to and from the venue was organised for us. The photographer was very professional and guided us into poses. We were thrilled to see our photographs one week later. The photos came out exceptionally beautiful. The photographer truly captured the moment and the scenery perfectly. I would definitely recommend Flying Dress Cape Town if you are planning a unique photo shoot in Cape Town.

The booking was easy (you can choose the date, the time, the location and one out of several dresses). The team was very friendly and they took beautiful pictures. Additionally they even gifted me with a bottle of sparkling wine and a handwritten card. I can absolutely recommend this experience.
