Cruise And Dine Dinner / Cape Town: Sunset Champagne Cruise And 3-course Dinner

The cruise portion of this experience was absolutely incredible. Be sure to dress warm as they aren't kidding when they say it's windy (although there is an inside if you need it). If you are at all inclined to get seasick, bring a pill, it can get choppy. I was unimpressed by the dinner portion-- the meal was not gourmet as advertised, in my opinion, the menu was prix fixe, which I understand from a cost perspective, but the choices were average and the food was average. I would have preferred the option to get what I want with an upcharge. I'd skip the dinner and just to the cruise.

It was a bit rainy and chilly so we did not see the sunset. However, it was still fun to ride around the harbor, and the crew was very nice. I would definitely recommend this, especially on a clear day.

This cruise was amazing. The night was beautiful and the team played music and everyone was dancing and singing. The only reason o rated this a 4 was the menu was not included and it was hard to find out what was for dinner. Luckily we went early. However the boat location provided one menu and the restaurant another! It is a set menu, however the restaurant did finally assist us with dietary restriction and we had a wonderful experience.

We had a great time! My husband and I chose to take the tour for our anniversary! We celebrated with a wonderful trip. Our daughter was with us and she enjoyed it as well! We even had fun enjoying the music the others were dancing to in the main part of the boat. We sat on the front by the nets. We got to see a few seals which was super cool and the sunset was spectacular. The crew was amazing, friendly, and helpful! I highly recommend!

We had such a great experience. Booking and response time was quick. We easily picked up the tickets and everything was clear. The boat was gorgeous! Attentive staff. Perfect number of other passengers on the boat. The boat/yacht was gorgeous! Like sooooo gorgeous! I’ve been out on a bunch of boats and know it gets cold so I was glad I had my multiple layers and that it meant I could enjoy the upper deck the whole time without being cold. But they also brought blankets out for people! So that was great too! Meal after we did the city grill. I expected it to be a pre-fix and it was with optional ordering off menu. We did the pre-fix and had a really delish lamb curry. I would literally do this multiple times again. 10 out of 10 recommend! :-)

It was an amazing experience with friendly staff on the boat as well as in the restaurant. The whole process of getting the ticket was seamless and smooth

Go even if the night looks overcast as the sunset seems to break through.It was windy & grey but it was a warm wind. great crew, great music, great time.

This cruise and dinner was a last minute add-on to a busy Cape Town itinerary. Our group was glad that we chose to do this. The cruise portion was a fun-filled 90 minutes of sightseeing, music, dancing and enjoyment of a perfect Cape Town sunset. Once ashore we walked five minutes for a true sit-down, Indian meal at the Raj restaurant. Service was impeccable, ambiance attractive and the cuisine was delicious and tasty. All in all, a great deal and highly recommended.

The sunset views on this cruise were absolutely stunning, and the captain was very friendly! However, we did have a concern about cleanliness when one of the crew members dropped a cleaning rag on the floor and continued using it, which affected our experience with the glasses. Despite that, the boat itself was clean, and the overall atmosphere was lovely

The entire boat ride was incredible and worth the money. This was the highlight of my visit to Cape Town. The sunset views were surreal. The dinner was also fantastic, tasty and value for money. I 100% recommend this!

The sunset cruise portion of the tour was a disaster. The catamaran was oversold and thus there was hardly any room to sit or enjoy the scenery. People were moving all about the boat at all times with no supervision by the untrained teenage staff, leading to a very poor experience. The dinner at the City Grille and Steakhouse was very good. They adjusted their set menu to accommodate the vegan and vegetarian in our group with no additional charge. Thank you very much.

The sunset boat cruise was exactly as described. We paid for a dinner as well and unfortunately the tour started late and therefore the boat returned to the dock late and thus when we arrived at the empty restaurant for dinner it was closed for meal service. When we reached out to the company for a refund for the half of the activity that we did not receive service for we were told they could not refund our money.

This was the worst experience I had on a vacation. The weather was bad and the sea very rough. My sister got a panick attack and was very sick. This cruise should have been cancelled in the weather conditions. Further we had a choice between Indian Italian and Greek food and we requested italian or greek food in our booking. Unfortunately we were offered the Raj restaurant which is indian food. We had to pay for our dinner elsewhere as we cannot tolerate spicy food. I would request full refund of this cruise and dinner. You can check with your skipper and he will certainly confirm that the sea was very rough. You can check with The Raj restaurant that we did not have dinner there. Please effect full refund.

Perfect way to see the city and be on the water. Great staff! I enjoyed seeing the whales while on water. Nice welcome drinks.

The cruise tour was not what we expected. IT WAS FABOULOUS!! We enjoy the sailing, the music and definite the staff on board. Great experience. Will Highly recommend to that this tour.

We enjoyed watching the sunset and meeting some new people. The crew was very friendly and made everyone comfortable.

My wife and I went on the Sunset cruise with champagne/Prosecco It was a lovely trip and we had a lovely day to go . It was very chilled and payed back we also got some lovely photos. Afterwards we went to the The Grill restaurant where we had a three course meal it was lovely and the food was great. I recommend this trip

We booked a few weeks ahead so weren’t sure about the weather. Thankfully they went out but was too rough so just cruised the harbour. This didn’t detract from the experience - we rocked with the music and had a great time - the dinner was very nice and we all had a great time.

Very good boat, with great crew and super sunset with photos and bubbly on a catamaran. It was quite cold due to it being winter, but blankets were provided. The dinner part was quite separate, I was incorrectly of the opinion that whoever was on the boat would all go for dinner together, but that did not happen, I was planning on using the dinner to find out from others what to do in Cape Town. The dinner however was very good. We were there in July 2023 so could have easily booked these trips while at the waterfront.

There was no 3 course dinner only champagne that was crazy and no one said anything about it… I sat on the boat hungry

The boat cruise was great, a bit chilly but there are places to get out of it the wind. I didn’t read the fine print so I thought the dinner was on the cruise. Dinner was after the boat ride at a nice restaurant nearby (City Grill Steakhouse) and the food was delicious! Beautiful Caesar salad and a fabulous steak that exceeded our expectations.
