Cheetahs Encounter Giraffe House Wine Tasting Private Tour

Bill Jean, our tour guide, was outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly engaging. He was patient, genuinely enjoyed conversing with us, and provided great insight into the history and culture throughout the experience. The cheetah encounter was absolutely incredible—truly the highlight of the day, especially for our little girl whose favorite animal is the cheetah. The staff were exceptional, so knowledgeable and able to answer every question with ease. The giraffe house was another wonderful experience. Although we didn’t get the chance to feed them, being able to see these beautiful animals up close was unforgettable. We ended the day with a wine tasting at a stunning winery. What made it even more special was that they offered a kiddie tasting as well, complete with sparkling juice and a cheese board, which our daughter loved. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves animals and enjoys a great wine experience!

Our driver made contact with us the day before to confirm pick up time and location. We did have a personal guide, which was great. He was very friendly and answered any questions to the best of his knowledge. Our drive was approximately 45 mins to the Giraffe House. If you want to feed them, I would recommend to let them know ahead of time. We didn't have enough time. It was more of a self guide tour through the Giraffe house. It would have been nice to know more about the animals. If you do the feeding you will get more information. The Cheetah encounter was great we got in the cage with one. We got to pet him and someone took our pictures with our own camera.

We went on the tour with Leon from Pleiades du cape town, through viator. We were picked up at our hotel on time and went to the giraffe sanctuary which was informative and a great way to see the giraffes and other animals. We went onto a wine tasting which was in a beautiful setting. We moved onto the cheetah tour which was truly amazing. We then had one of the best steak lunches we have had since being in Cape Town. Leon was friendly and informative and a safe driver we had a fantastic day in his company 😀

The day started with wine tasting at Spier winery in Stellenbosch where the views were spectacular and the wines excellent. Then we visited the cheetah outreach experience where we were allowed to stroke a gorgeous male cheetah and have our photos taken with him A lunch stop followed and then we went to the Giraffe house where a variety of animals and snakes are found. Our guide and driver for the day was Leon who did a great job and was very knowledgeable about the animals and also South Africa in general. We learned a lot about Cape Town and the surrounding area from him

Few people but great experience terrible service , the atmosphere was great but I personally think the staff need to attend and check on their customers more

This was a lovely and enjoyable experience for the whole family. The cheetah encounter and giraffe house were exciting, educational, and well organised, especially for children. The length of the visit was suitable and did not feel rushed. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the crowd size was manageable. Staff were friendly, patient, and helpful throughout the tour. The wine tasting was a nice addition for adults. Overall, this tour offers good value and is ideal for families looking for a calm, memorable wildlife experience.

IT was a unique experience and really interesting if I can say,the trip guide was amazing and knew their facts the animals looked much bigger in person than I expected bit overall it was a great experience

Cape Town stole my heart!From the stunning views of Table Mountain to the vibrant vibes of Long Street, it was an incredible experience. The beaches, the wine farms, the hikes... everything was on point . And let's not forget the food – those seafood dishes were ! What's your fave memory from Cape Town?

Had a great experience. The fees was not too costly I was only been visiting my family for lesser then a month and it was great

My experience at this place was very satisfying. I really loved the wine it was one of the best I've tested in a while. The service was really good too and lastly the cheetahs were enjoyable too,woulf definitely come back here again.

It was a fine and funny experience. I really enjoyed myself.the view was lovely, the people there were very kind ,and honest. I would recommend this to many more people

The stops were a lot of fun. Definitely worth doing. It was a ways outside of Cape Town so a lot of traveling. The big downside was that the company did not make prior reservations for the close-up and petting at the Cheetah Outreach, nor at the Giraffe House. We were told there were no more time slots available at both places. They offered us the 'walk around' which is a bit like visiting a zoo. When I explained that we had prepaid the tour company for the interactive experiences and that we were leaving in a day, they eventually did make exceptions and worked us into the schedule. It made for a longer day. After that we had time for lunch and 1 winery, which was very nice. Also worth mentioning is that our private tour was via car and not a marked tour bus so we had trouble finding/connecting with our driver in the morning for 20 minutes. If you are visiting here please note that EVERY tour company assumes you use WhatsApp and tried to contact us that way (which didn't work) instead of a phone call. Our driver was a good driver, accommodating and apologetic about the issues, which he had not expected.
