Was awesome as they work for the cheetahs and not the other way round. Staff amazing and the handlers are passionate

Guide was amazing, very knowledgeable and the cheetah experience was absolutely worth it. The beaches were beautiful
Ellie was our driver and the entire trip was wonderful. Would travel with Cape Falls Tours again., I put a cruise tour together for sevral people.
This experience allowed us to get up close with a cheetah - able to touch and pat it - this was under strict guidance and supervision- and we supported this great cause
We learned so much from the Cheetah sanctuary. It was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Elvis was a very friendly and personable driver who was very willing to explain when we asked questions, which made our experience of S.A. so much deeper. He was also willing to go out of his way to accommodate our needs. Highly recommend it!
Be advised, all you are getting is a car and a driver. The restaurants where we went for lunch were substandard. The views were absolutely amazing.
I was the only person on this excursion and glad they didn’t cancel. Cheetahs were very cool although very fast. I had no interest in anything else so we just drove by the beach and got back early which was awesome. Simba, my guide was great as well and catered to whatever I wanted. Thanks so much!
You need a little bit of patience because sometimes the cheetahs need to get settled before you can do your experience with them
Such a special experience! We took the ‘encounter’ ticket and got to stroke and stand with Tinashe. We found out lots of interesting facts and the whole experience was just amazing. I never thought I’d ever get that close to a cheetah.
It has been a real privilege to get so close to such a beautiful animal. The team at Cheetah Outreach carry out excellent work in protecting these wonderful creatures. I would also like to give a big thanks to my driver Simba. I found him to be professional, funny and a genuinely interesting person, and I thoroughly enjoyed his company on the road.
This is such a fun and unique experience that it should not be passed out. They’re doing great work at the sanctuary that is very admirable. I highly recommend you experience with the best tour guide named Bethany. She was super knowledgeable and quite hilarious all at the same time.
Fantastic day. Would definitely recommend this experience. Extremely knowledgeable guide with great day travelling and seeing some of the countryside.
Easy to get to wonderful staff beautiful animals and all for a good cause. Beautiful animals a d got to stroke a full grown male cheerh
It even hard to give this organisation a 1 Star. We were refunded our monies back because of just being late by 20 minutes. And that was because our driver had an emergency of a sick child the stuff were not understand and it ended up feeling like we were outcasts because we were the only black couple there. We came down from Durban to enjoy the experience with them but ended up regretting booking with them.
In all honesty it would be easier and cheaper to get an uber to the location and email them direct to arrange your personal experience. I wanted to upgrade my experience and was told I could do so on arrival on the day only to be told no I couldn’t which was disappointing. It was an incredible experience and they are doing great work to protect and encourage preservation but it could have been better. The two additional stops were pleasant enough but were just supplementary as for me it had been all about the cheetah experience which fell short unfortunately.
A great day out. The programme that the cheetah outreach programme run is well worth supporting and I fully recommend this trip. The towns visited afterwards were very beautiful and we had a great day thank you.
It was an amazing experience to encounter cheetah for the first time The team was really great and teach us a lot. We hope to do it again one day
I took my 3 adult kids for the interaction experience and they were blown away, my oldest daughter is a special needs adult and it was great to see her so calm and enjoying every moment stroking the animal, these animals are taken care of with love, care and loads of attention, if you are a charitable donater, consider them!
Our guide Elifas was the BEST! He made sure we are comfortable and had explained the needed information about our tour. He is a cheerful person and we really enjoyed our time with Elifas.
Our guide was really nice however we did have a lot of confusion and never got an email or anything saying what time he was coming on my ticket. It said he would pick us up at 10 o’clock at the hotel but he got there at 9:30 and he was upset with us that we weren’t there. We scramble to get there, but there was no notification and we looked everywhere.
Eli was a great tour guide, really informative and told me lots I didn't already know about Capetown. There was only me on the trip but I felt really safe the whole time and he didn't rushe through the trip. The cheetahs are the highlight and I did the adult and the cub experiences which were really special and you can see how much the keepers care for the cats.
The cheetahs were such an experience! You can see how well looked after and cared for they are by their handlers and that made the trip so much better! I did the adult and cub experience, both of which were great and my guide gave me as much time as I wanted to spend in the sanctuary. Eli was my your guide and I was the only person on the tour that day, we had a great trip together and he was so chatty and super knowledgeable about all things cape town and south Africa! We went to the beaches but in true capetown fashion it wasn't really beach weather, but it was still nice to see some beaches I haven't visited before. Overall a great trip, I would definitely recommend!
Albis our guide was amazing. Very personable and knowledgeable! Loved getting to pet the cheetah! To see them run though you need to go on Tuesday or Thursday
This was a really good tour. The cheater experience was really cool and the guides are very professional. We were picked up on time, and we had the whole tour to ourselves which was a very good bonus. We decided not to spend the time at the beach because it was very cold and raining.
Great place run by amazing volunteers. Very educational & found out about the amazing work they do to work with rescued animals & bring them up as wild as possible. Loved the interactions & we were invited to join feeding time around the outreach. Excellent value for money if you want to get close to these amazing animals.
Great trip. I will recommend to friends and family. Enjoyed the cheetahs and the two beaches. Great day and experience.
2 hour drive but our driver was very informed and interesting. Not very much time with the Cheetah unless you get the VIP package that I would recommend. Great handlers and safety of guests and cat was top priority.
Fantastic day in spite of the weather. Cheetah sanctuary was amazing. Our driver Eli was the best. Took us where we wanted🤙
I can't speak highly enough about the Cheetah Outreach, the animals are really well looked after by the staff who treat it as a vocation rather than just a job. It is cheap to visit and set up as a conservation project to protect cheetahs which are an endangered species. There are other animals to see such as Caracal, jackels and meerkats. People have asked me if the cheetahs are well looked after and are they tranquilized before you go in. The cheetahs are very well looked after, they are not tranquilized and are not made to do anything they don't want to. The handler's wait until the cheetahs are relaxed before you are allowed to go in with them, there are two handlers, one with the cheetah and the other will take your photos and videos for you on your phone. You are allowed to stroke the cheetah's down their backs which they like. The centre also breed Anatolian dogs which instinctively protect livestock. They are a large breed from Turkey. The pups are given to farmers and placed with their animals (sheep, goats etc). The idea behind it is that farmers kill animals that attack their flocks, because the dogs chase off the predators the farmers don't need to kill them, this is a win win solution, the farmers animals are protected and so are the predatory animals. If you are in Cape Town or the surrounding area please visit and support this project. After visiting the Cheetah Outreach we went on to strand beach which is a nice sandy beach but you don't need long there, we then went on to Gordon's Bay where we had a relaxing lunch at a restaurant on the beach. Gordon's Beach is quite a nice place to visit.
This was an amazing tour. We went in May so we were the only couple, basically a private tour. The Cheetah encounter was unbelievable! The views of Gordon’s bay and Strand beach were beautiful! Our driver was wonderful and gave a great tour with lots of information along the way!
This is a highly engaging itinerary. The driver picked us up at the designated location at 9:30 AM, and we arrived at the Cheetah Park around 10:00 AM. We started with a self-guided tour of the park. We paid an additional fee to encounter with the cheetah. The park also houses other animals. I highly recommend this tour!
The Cheetah experience was incredible. The organization clearly cares for the comfort and well-being of the cheetahs which does require some patience but it will pay off. The organization also performs community outreach to keep all wild animals safe. Our tour guide was very helpful, knowledgeable, and flexible. Given the chance we would book this tour again.
Fabulous tour!!! Our tour guide, Elifas, made the experience even more enjoyable! The opportunity to pet the cheetahs, walk on the beaches and enjoy Gordon’s Bay was a memorable experience and I highly recommend!
What a treat to to visit the Cheetah Centre. We did both the adult and cub encounter and it was great. Visiting the nearby beaches was great as well with a nice lunch (not included) at a local place. Tour guide was nice.
Thabo, our guide was on time, knowledgeable and very pleasant. When the chief handler asked us if we knew how many spots are on a cheetah, my wife put up her hand, I know, my guide told me! Paid extra for the young cheetah experience, that was delightful and so rewarding, thank you for a great day
Very much enjoyed the Cheetah Outreach, seeing up close these beautiful creates is speechless. Our drive was very good and made the tour enjoyable.
Tim Hutchinson picked us up from our hotel in the city and drove us there we had an amazing time there patting a cheetah cub then an adult cheetah with photos then he drove us to Stellenbosch for lunch which is a lovely little town then returned us back to our hotel he was a very nice and friendly man
The adult cheetah encounter is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so definitely do this tour. Henry, our tour guide, did a great job coordinating our time, both when onsite for the encounter and by showing us several popular - and warm Indian Ocean water - beaches to seek out for swimming, sunning, etc. in the future.
Great opportunity to get close to a cheetah, lovely staff and great educational content. It’s quite a short (but amazing) experience, you don’t really see too much of the cheetahs beyond this, otherwise BUT you can stay as long as you want at the park to view them (may need patience) and also many other exotic animals. We were lucky enough to see a baby cheetah too. Henry from Cape Falls tours was excellent & made the day - recommended.
So fun to pet the cheetah's and such a worthy cherity. Also went to 2 nice beaches. A nice way to spend the day.
It was such a good day out. Our tour guide and driver were friendly and engaging and the Cheetah encounter was amazing. The Cheetah was so relaxed and happy to be petted, which is a reflection on how well they are looked after and safe they feel. The beaches were lovely too, with perfect weather. Booking through Viator with Cape Falls Tours was easy and inexpensive and they arranged the standard Cheetah encounter for you so that you didn't have to book that separately or worry about being a "walk in" on the day, all you needed to do was pay the entry and encounter fee at the outreach.
We had an amazing time meeting Tobias (cheetah), who seemed to really be enjoying his pets and time with the visitors. The staff and volunteers were friendly and inviting and they do amazing work taking care of all the animals there, which now includes a new cheetah cub. They took some great photos of us petting the Cheetah too. Booking this through Cape Falls Tours was easy and inexpensive and our tour guide, Principal, was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you for a great day!
I had an absolutely wonderful time on the Cheetah Outreach Tour last week, coupled with visits to Gordon’s Bay and Strand Beaches. My guide, Elifas, truly made the experience unforgettable. From the moment we began, he kept the ride entertaining with his great sense of humor and fascinating stories about the local areas, as well as his personal journey since moving to Cape Town from Zimbabwe. His knowledge and warm personality added so much to the trip. The Cheetah Outreach was a highlight - being able to see cheetahs up close, touch one briefly, and have a photo taken by a ranger (all while in very safe hands) was an incredible experience. Afterward, we briefly stopped by Strand Beach for a photo opportunity before heading over to Gordon’s Bay. There, I had more time to explore the shops, enjoy some food, and take a relaxing walk along the beautiful beach before heading back to Cape Town. Elifas was a gracious and entertaining host who truly cared about making the trip special for me. Thank you for an unforgettable experience - I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cape Town!
I could touch cheetahs at a Cheetah Outreach! I thought that I could touch cheetah, but I was really impressed because I could stroke it. I could even feel the cheetah's breathing. I was grateful that the videos and photos were taken by experienced staff. Our tour guide, the principal, was also full of hospitality, and we had a lot of fun talking about Japanese culture!
You can touch cheetahs safely. Cheetahs are an endangered species and can be moody, but this zoo has many cheetahs and you can touch them safely. The zookeepers clearly explained the precautions and took many wonderful photos for us. The cheetahs' fur and bodies were beautiful and I will never forget the excitement of touching them. I would also like to mention our guide, Principal. He created a very fun atmosphere during the tour. He responded sincerely to our requests. I made a South African friend. Thank you, Principal.
The hands on visit with the cheetah was really special and well worth it. Just as special was our guide Ishmael. He paid attention to the individual interest and then went out of his way to highlight those areas. I personally learned an amazing amount of South African history. He explained many aspects of South Africa you don't find in books. Also a genuine nice person.
Fantastic pair of guides and teachers, they showed us the great Capetown experience that anyone would love. Principal and Ismael will maje you laugh. Teach you about the places and people that make South Africa so great. DO NOT MISS THIS TOUR!
This excursion was a fantastic and outstanding part of our trip to Africa. The two fine young men, Ismael and the Principle were our guides and teachers as we explored customs, wildlife, lifestyle, history and outstanding sights and people of Cape Town. They taught us a little language, displayed courtesy, described regions and made us laugh as they toured us through the surrounding regions and beautiful farmlands of South Africa. And we laughed all the way! Go on this tour if you have a brief time available to understand and explore this fascinating part of our world. We highly recommend and want you to experience this great exploration like we did. Just Go!!
Fantastic experience! Lived our visit to Cheetah Outreach and to the two beaches. Our driver Yassine was awesome, we had a great time with him.
Great experience for the family, all the staff showed great care for the cheetah's welfare. The staff were knowledgeable and gave good insights into their work.
