Good way to get out into the country and experience the hinterland visit the beautiful wineries and taste some wine. Egor our guide was excellent and knowledgeable, only down side was the vehicle they sent him out in was had seen better days .we could have like more comport
This was a small group tour, which we really enjoyed. Unfortunately the weather was really bad, but this tour is perfect for those days. Pick up was on time, informative tour guide and he didn't mind to change the plan to suit us. It's worth the money.
Nelson was such an amazing tour guide & truly gave us a once in a lifetime experience! I would recommend this multiple times over.
Egon was very knowledgeable, friendly and informative. We both thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the wines thanks to him.
We visited three wineries with Vince plus the towns of Stellenbosch, Franschoek and Paarl and saw the gates of the Drackenstein Correctional Centre where Nelson Mandela walked to freedom after 27 years as a prisoner. The wineries and tastings were all different - it was hard to choose a favourite. This wine growing area of South Africa is beautiful and well worth exploring from the city of Cape Town. We also found it very interesting to talk about life in South Africa and the Mother City with Vince and he was happy to answer our questions. A very good day indeed.
Fantastic day with Vincent as our guide. It could not have been better visiting three very different vineyards, the Mandela release prison in Paarl and a bonus stop at the motor museum at Franschhoek as well. Thoroughly recommend both Mile by Mile and Vincent as your tour guide. Thanks for a great day from Stuart, Kay, Michael and Andrew.
The all-day wine tour with our guide Vince was unforgettable! We visited three wineries in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek whose wines were very fine. Vince our guide has a very good general knowledge, has a dry sense of humor and made this trip an unforgettable experience. It was my third and by far the best wine tour! Many thanks to Vince !
Good tour of the Stellenbosch and Paarl wine areas. Enjoyed the 3 tastings and the sights - only spoilt by wet weather. The lunch option (own cost) was offered at a winery selected by the guide and we had expected a few more options from tour advertising - however meal was still very good and held in front of a great log fire. Tour guide was good but spoke a little too much about South Africa's problems for our liking and not the wine areas. Tour stated on time and we were safely returned to our hotel about 8.5 hours later.
Very enjoyable day with our knowledgeable guide. We visited 3 contrasting wineries in Paarl, Franschhoek (where we had a lovely lunch) and Stellenbosch. As well as tasting a variety of wines, we also learned a lot about the geography, history and culture of the winelands area and South Africa generally. To be recommended.
This was a good day trip from Cape Town to sample wines in Paarl, Frankenshoef and Stellenbosch. Also got to see the prison that Nelson Mndela spent his last few months in prison. The weather was not good on this particular day, so it was an appropiate day trip. Picked up and dropped off at hotel.
The only complain I have regarding this tour is that the time posted on the voucher was not the time of pick up. Viator needs to coordinate with the tour company in order to post accurate times. The pick up time was actually closer to 9am. Besides that the tour was amazing and our tour guide Nigel did his best to accommodate even those in our tour that did not drink wine.
We did this tour as a family of 3. Saw some superb locations and we had a very relaxing day, despite not being great wine fans/connoisseurs. Best of all was our tour guide Nigel April, who entertained us greatly with his stories as well as his deep knowledge of South Africa's history and culture. He knew how to make his guests feel comfortable, even finding stuff to keep us busy while we skipped some of the wine tasting sessions. Nigel ensured a great day was made even better!
On February 4th we hade a very enjoyable private wine tour, with two friens, to Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl. Our excellent guide Leticia did not only guide us thru the wineries but also gave us an good insight in as well the history as the present way of living in South Africa.

Fabulous tour! Egon our guide was great, the wineries we visited were fabulous and the tastings were great.. well worth the money

Private tour. Very knowledgeable and attentive driver/guide James who readily offered insights not only in the wine lands, but also in the culture and society of South Africa. We liked the choice of three quite different wine estates/degustations and the well-timed programme which allowed for individual stops and sufficient time to explore the wineries, as well as the picturesque towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

I enjoyed going to the wine country and the wineries that were on the itinerary. The tour guide/driver was difficult to understand.

A really exciting tour, for those like me who love wine but not only: during the tour we will talk about South African history and culture, the passion that South Africa has for wine and food and this makes this land, a fantastic land. Visiting Capetown I really fell in love with this place. I think I'll be back no doubt
