Cape Town Wine Tour: Stellenbosch & Franschhoek +Tastings & Lunch

The trip to the wine regions was an amazing and engaging experience made possible by Bonga your guide. He involved everyone and interacted with all attendees so they felt welcomed. The wineries chosen gave an individual experience to all of us and we felt special- would recommend this trip wholeheartedly!!

This experience is definitely for wine lovers! Me and my family had an amazing time and loved the pairings of both cheeses and chocolates. The food at the cellar was very tasty as well. But, pace yourself if you’re a light weight because there’s plenty of wine wine wine and bubbles bubbles bubbles

Wonderful wine tasting with Emie. I had a fantastic wine tasting tour with Emie as our tourist guide. She was friendly and make a whole experience enjoyable and memorable. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful wine tasting experience in Cape Town and Stellenbosch. Thank Emie for such a lovely experience.

We had a great tour yesterday. Group of 10 with Angelo as our guide who made us all feel very included. Our lunch was amazing and the tastings with cheese and chocolate were a very special touch. Pick up was spot on time and stops along the way were appreciated. Angelo is a great guide and value of this tour was fantastic.

Everything was timed perfectly and the locations we stopped at were exceptional. The wines were of good standard and the trip was very good value for money.

An enjoyable day slightly marred by our driver arriving 30 minutes after the agreed pick up time. He was apologetic but nevertheless it was not a good start.

This was an excellent tour. Bonga, the tour guide had a wealth of knowledge and information about the areas we travelled through and the wineries. We visited 2 wineries, plus lunch at Franschhoek celler and sparking wine in Stellenbosch. The wine and cheese pairing, lunch with wine, wine and chocolate pairing and the sparkling wine were all included in the costs. The tour also included a lovely stop in Franschhoek, a pretty and delightful town. This was a small group tour which suited us very well. Overall a wonderful day out, with some great wines and an excellent guide and worthwhile doing.

Excellent tour of the winelands with Nazeem, our guide. We were a small group of seven which worked really well - great mix of personalities. All included in the price we had a 'starter' of wine tasting with cheese pairings, followed by an excellent main meal at a local restaurant with local wines, followed by a 'desert' wine tasting with chocolate pairings. Then to finish the tour we had champagne in a wine bar in Stellanbosch. The transport and guide was great. All together, a great tour - highly recommended.

The guide Rico was the best. He was super informative, he was a perfect vibe and was great with any questions I asked him from what kind of horns were used on the moto sculpture we saw at our first stop to the largest "shanty" we drove past, shanty isn't a great word, on our way home. I was alone and it was amazing meeting people just like me from all different places around the world.

Fantastic way to see the beautiful scenery and taste various wines of South Africa. Would definitely book again.

We had a great day with Rico and Naazeem. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The wines were great to! Lunch was excellent. We got dropped off and quickly realised we'd left a phone and glasses on the tour bus! We contacted Viator, via Whatsapp who immediately contacted Rico. Our items were delivered back to us within 45 mins....relief and excellent customer service by all concerned. Highly recommend this company and guides.

A great day out in beautiful South African vineyards with plenty of wine tasting and delicious lunch.

This was a fabulous experience from start to finish. Angelo picked us up very promptly and was super enthusiastic throughout the day, making sure the whole group were involved in the day! The wine tastings, pairings and lunch were totally awesome and a thoroughly enjoyable, very informative day. Highly recommend!

Our guide Angelo was fantastic! He wanted to make sure that all guests enjoyed themselves and had fun. He was knowledgeable, personable and funny. He really tried to make the trip as interesting and worthwhile as possible. We stopped at a terrific winery for wine and cheese pairings, then had an amazing lunch with lovely wines, then had wine paired with chocolate, and sparkling wines after that. This region was so beautiful and well worth the trip out of Cape Town. The group of guest was lovely as well, representing 5 different countries so that was a lot of fun. Highly recommend this tour, it was awesome and well worth the money! Also, I left my jacket on the bus by accident and contacted the company via WhatsApp, and they dropped it off at our hotel the next night! This company goes above and beyond in all aspects.

A very extensive tour of the wine regions. Generous tastings with both wine and food. Our tour leader, Bon ga, was well informed and kept the tour jolly. Well worth the time.

Spectacular experience- wine and otherwise! Our crazy-knowledgeable guide Angelo knitted a bunch of strangers together and imparted tons of oenological knowledge at a breakneck pace. The wines were diverse and spectacular, as were the people in the van, some of whom I intend to see again. Huge credit to Angelo, his encyclopedic knowledge of wine and his spectacular attitude. Do this tour.

Exploring the wine region was such a beautiful experience. In the end the 3 tastings plus lunch was too much alcohol for us and not enough walking time in Franschoek and Stellenbosch. But we did sign up for wine tastings, so that was personal preference not the tour’s fault. Tour operator did a fine job.

Without question the best wine tour we’ve experienced. Angelo was an AMAZING guide. Knowledgeable, professional, polite and incredibly friendly and hospitable. Went out of his way to make sure we had a fantastic time. Wineries were fabulous as were the towns.

This was such a fun day! Our guide Angelo made everyone welcome! We were from Angola, England, Brazil, USA and had great discussions over lots of wine and tasty food. The wines were good. Wineries had lush landscaping and wonderful settings near the mountains. It was great to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel.

We had a wonderful day. Everything was organized perfectly. Our guide was on time to pick us up and had everything ready to go. The wines and the lunch were delicious. Definitely recommend this to everyone who wants to enjoy a day in the beautiful countryside.

I had an amazing experience!! I arrived in Cape Town the night before my tour. I was picked up at my hotel and brought back to my hotel after the tour. So easy and safe! Since I was wine tasting the whole day, I'm glad I wasn't driving! 🤣 The tour was worth so much more than what I paid. My tour guide Angelo was kind, knowledgeable and funny! He kept the group laughing!! Lunch was delicious and ordered before we got to the restaurant! I was a solo traveler and everything went well from start to finish. Probably the best wine tour experience in Cape Town!

Great trip to the wine country with a wonderful and fun guide who had a ton of knowledge about the region. Pickup and drop off were easy, group size was small (11 for my group) and we had a lot of fun.

Great day out at wineries & just enough for the day, visiting 3 wineries. Lunch was delicious & wines were good. It's a very full day & provides a good overview of the areas. It would have been good to have a little more time to wander around Franschhoek but that was the only thing that I would do differently.

The guide was wonderful and informative. The three wineries were great but the last stop for "bubbles" was a bit disappointing. Our server asked for tips even though she did very little.

This is a full day tour. We had a great time wine tasting and seeing wine country. Our driver was incredible and added so much to the tour!

This was a very fun tour at beautiful wineries with delicious food and drinks. The lunch meal was really elegant and high quality. The servers at each wine tasting had a lot of energy, personality, and expertise. I would highly recommend this tour.

Angelo is an amazing guide, for sure, knew and informed the group of everything that was asked. The activities of the day, were just as nice and quite a lecker experience.

Great tour guide and a brilliant selection of wines across different wineries. It's worth nothing that the first winery you visit has the best shop and deli so it's worth buying things there!
