Cape Town Wine Tour & Tasting All Inclusive

Great tour of a beautiful wine country. We got lucky that the group only had our party, which made the experience feel very private and personalized. Our tour guide and driver, Andrew, was fantastic. He let us choose the wineries and attractions we wanted to visit and mapped out the route very efficiently. The last stop however was Andrew’s choice and that place was simply breathtaking. We had an absolute blast!

Having a private driver was amazing. Our driver was knowledgeable about the vineyards and the city of Stellenbosch. The day was serene and peaceful. We never felt rushed, we were able to take our time and enjoy the amazing beauty. We would definitely recommend this activity to any future travelers.

I had the most magical experience. The best 8hrs of my life. Words can’t explain the experience I had. I would like to highlight my appreciation to our tour guide Yomi. Yomi was truly a breath of fresh air. So enthusiastic, so polite, she brought the good vibes. Energy is everything and she was the perfect addition to our wine tasting experience. We had a lovely day sampling lots of different wines from different local vineyards. Our guide (Yomi) was lovely. She was attentive and worked hard to not only drive us back and forth but also to give us lots of information about Cape Town too. We even ordered a few bottles of wine to be delivered back home!

Yomi, our tour guide was top notch! She was on time, great energy, friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. She made sure we understood the timeline and what to expect. The wineries were beautiful with spectacular views. Thank you for leaving the best for last. It would be helpful in future tours to include cold water and good air conditioned vehicles. As Canadians the heat is unbearable and we are consuming a fair amount of alcohol through out the day. Overall our best tour guide of the trip so far. Thank you Yomi!!

Several wineyards were closed in 25. December. Despite request for confirmation on the trip in advance, we were assured that the trip would go as planned. On pick-up the 25. December, we were,however, informed that several wineyards were closed, and that we should visit a very expensive one, where we had to pay extra! Our trip was fully paid in advance, visit to 5 wineyards included. This was a suprise, and after some confusion, the guide accepted to cover the extra pay. We visited two wineyards, Delaire Graff and Boschendal. The visits were ok, but there was no opportunity to look at the production. The winetasting was very "touristic", with limited information about the wines from the waitors. Summarized: expensive trip, not good organized, beautiful wineyards and touristic tasting.

Excellent guide and great choice of wineries and tour which was based on our feedback and took into consideration what we liked. Lots of information along the way. Thanks so much!

Absolutely amazing! We were picked up at our hotel at 9:00 AM, met by the cheerful Andrew. He took us through the whole day, 5 vineyards in total, and offered exceptional hospitality as well as trivia and facts along the way. The experience was 10/10, will recommend to all friends travelling to Cape Town.

Andrew was the best driver we could ask for for our wine tour. So nice and cheerful, and great sense of humour, which is always appreciated. Great experience!

We had a great experience with Yumi, until we tapped out early. It was our first day in Cape Town. Daydrinking goes with jet lag like peanut butter and tuna fish. We started out strong, but tapped out after lunch. I slept in the car on the way back to the hotel. Yumi is an awesome guide though. She described the scenic drive while my eyes were closed.

Yomi was phenomenal! We were fortunate to go on a tour with me, my spouse and her, Yomi. The tour is fairly structured but Yomi was willing to be a bit flexible with time. The winery we went to for lunch had issues with their payment system and Yomi was very professional about it, even when it threw us off about an hour. Highly recommend!

Discovering all the wine farms and different blends of wines and ‘champagnes’ was so much fun! Yomi who was our driver and tour guide was exceptional!! Patient, accommodating and all round friendly. Will definitely be doing it again :)

Me and my friends went to Fairview, Tokara, La Motte, and Simonsig wine farms. It was a great tour though most of these farms closed earlier than we thought. Many thanx to Africa Afrika Cabs and Tours for a great tour. Their driver was very patient with us. Thank you

Our Driver Deacon was super congenial. We went to 5 amazing wineries although the last one was just shutting down because we got there at 6:30pm. The wine tastings and the lunch we had was delicious. We joined another couple all day and it was a day filled with laughs and great company.

Used Afrika tours for Stellenbosh wine tour, booked few weeks before with Andrew, never really communicated with him much but on the day of the pick up the driver was there at our hotel on time. For me thats just good service no calls no reminders. We did 4 out of 5 vineyards by choice cause the wine was already taking charge and it was a bit late :) our driver took time to explain the sorroundings to us and was very professional . Wanted to go to the penguins the next day with him but woke up sick but will definitely come back for that and will use Afrika cabs again. Now i know how to get around while in Cape Town!

We were visiting SA from Vancouver Island, Canada. Andrew picked us up at 9:30. He drove us around in style! It was a wonderful experience. We visited Vergenoegd for the duck parade and wine tasting, then we went to Boschendal for a picnic. We then headed to Lanzerac for a chocolate and wine pairing, followed by a tasting at Spier. We visited Graaff wine estate, and ended off our red meat evening at Babylonstoren. We had a fantastic day. Andrew was amazing and we will definitely book a tour with him again!

I contacted Andrew some months before our cruise ship was arriving in Cape Town for 3 days and based on earlier reviews and also the response I received from both Andrew and Noma, I felt very confident that I was in capable and secure hands. I was right, we spent all three days with Andrew who picked us up each day promptly at the arranged time. My husband and I immediately liked Andrew. He has a very nice personality, he is always neatly dressed and he has a very relaxed and composed attitude. In addition he is an excellent driver and he knows the area and all the roads very well. That was useful when there was a traffic hold up and Andrew was able to cross to another route and he returned us to our ship on time which was important as we were leaving that evening. The whole day was wonderful. Andrew took us to three of the most attractive wineries set in unbelievably beautiful scenery. I couldn't believe how beautiful it all was so even if you don't drink wine I thoroughly recommend that you have a tour in this beautiful wine valley area. You might also like to visit Stellenbosch which is a very attractive historical town. Andrew took us to a lovely restaurant for lunch which was also set among the most amazing views. The scenery all day was the most awe inspiring, out of this world scenery that I have seen anywhere, and we have travelled a lot. I definitely recommend that you email Andrew at AfricaAfrika and chat or email with him about what you want to see and do while you are in Cape Town. He will have a solution for you no matter your length of time. Thank you Andrew for your great service and your knowledge of the area and most of all for keeping us safe.
