Cape Town Private 8hour Guided Hermanus Whale Watching Boat Tour

Another superb day arranged by Joel and Paul, with Paul being our private guide on this occasion. Paul collected us as arranged, on time and from our hotel. The boat trip delivered as promised with lots of sightings of magnificent Southern Right Whales, unfortunately no sightings of humpbacks on this occasion but maybe next time 🤞🤞🤞 We had a lovely lunch in Hermanus at a restaurant right on the waters edge (suggested by Paul) and whilst there we could see dolphins swimming close by. A great stop at Stoney Point where we were close up with hundreds of cute penguins. And saw a family of Dussies sunbathing 👍👍 As we said on a previous review, If you are coming to Cape Town and you want everything and I mean everything taking care of you in respect of your sightseeing, then look no further than Joel or his colleague Paul.

I went on a whale-watching tour with Joel on Friday and absolutely loved the experience! Joel is an incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive guide who makes you feel comfortable and well taken care of from the very beginning. He picked me up right on time, is a very safe driver, and shared lots of interesting information about the surrounding area, local history, and life in South Africa throughout the journey. He always takes the time to answer questions and plans regular breaks, making the entire trip very relaxed and enjoyable. After whale watching, we continued to Betty’s Bay to visit the penguin colony before Joel safely dropped me back at my accommodation in the evening. You can really tell that Joel organizes his tours with passion and genuinely cares about his guests having a wonderful experience. I can highly recommend Joel and his tours! If you want to explore South Africa, discover beautiful places, and learn more about the country along the way, Joel is definitely the right guide for you. Was very good. We get lots of information and have see somthing special extra! We have seen some whales but to fix it with the camera they were to fast.

Joel was an incredible your guide! He did a pick up and drop off for our shark diving excursion. He was knowledgeable throughout the entire ride! Will definitely be coming back in 2027!!!

The whale watching was brilliant. Mating groups, multiple mother and calf pairs and even a breaching whale. Paul was a great guide for the day - more than just whale watching, he gave a great guided tour of the area (which included a wine tasting stop). Thoroughly recommended,
