WOWWWW!!! What an amazing experience. The views, sunset, people, crew, drinks, music and vibes were amazing. Such value for money! We went as a couple and had an amazing experience. For the price it could have been double and we would have loved it. Thank you to the captain and crew. You meet people from different countries and get to know them as well. I would 1000% recommend it to anyone coming to Cape Town.
Impromptu decision to board, 5 mins pre 5.30pm departure. Was an excellent decision. We spotted seals and whales. Had a glass or two of champagne, watched the sunset and everyone on the boat joined in the singalong on the way back to port. Negotiate the price before boarding.
6 Stars!! What an amazing experience! The views are stunning and the Captain Lucky and his team made the trip!! It was amazing would definitely recommend!!
A gorgeous way to spend sunset time. Super friendly, efficient and welcoming staff on a spacious sail boat, sipping bubbles and watching seals play in the harbour . The silence of the ocean and sails after the motor was cut then bubbles shared and everyone became an animated group chatting and enjoying the time. Great music and yes! You can do a titanic imitation in the front if you so wished with wind in the hair and a glass in the hand. Really enjoyable for young and old .
We had an amazing 90 mins, by fluke we were the only passengers but the crew were super attentive. We used the sails and the motor and found a grouping when that we tracked while the sunset around us -the musical soundtrack was fantastic too
Had a wonderful time with the surprise visit by a humpback whale to cap off the evening. Love the smaller more intimate size of the sail boat. Highly recommend.
Wonderful trip from start to finish. Boat is an actual sailing vessel, and the joy of sailing with the engine off is always special. Crew and captain were attentive and the champagne, juice and water flowed freely.
This was absolutely incredible. 5 stars doesn’t even begin to cover it. From the crew, to the captain, to the boat, to the experience itself, it was all so amazing. My partner & I went on the Spirit Of Victoria Sunset Cruise for our anniversary & I couldn’t recommend any more than I do. I was skeptical booking merely because there were only 20 reviews appose to the other options having hundreds of reviews. But the other ones had a couple reviews mentioning the boat on that one was too crammed etc… so I looked at this one’s pictures & it looked comfortable & not like it was overflowing with people so I took the chance as I wanted something about more intimate & not a party vibe. & it went on to even exceed that hope I had. The crew weren’t just crew, you could just about add “photographers” to their CVs as they made sure you didn’t have to ask for photos. Whenever you had Table Mountain in the back or the sun setting perfectly, they would offer if you’d like a photo so you never felt like you were being a pain by asking too much. My partner & I sat on the nose of the boat away from the standard seating & it was such an incredible experience. Don’t look elsewhere. If you’re on the fence, I hope this sells it for you. Book this cruise & enjoy 90 minutes of absolute peace & beauty on the ocean. Thank you to the crew & the amazing captain too. You made our anniversary unforgettable.
Stunning views, friendly and professional service from start to end with great champaigne and company
The trip was fun. The captain and his crew was a bit confusing at first but once we got going they were kind and amazing! We saw dolphins and a whale! They were so fun! So worth it!
The cruise way exceeded our expectations! We understood it was a sunset cruise and included 2 glasses of bubbly each, but what we didn’t expect was seeing penguins, seals and dolphins swimming along side the boat! What a treat! The staff were great fun - the right amount of guest interaction and attentive service. Huge thanks to the whole Wild Horizons team - we loved it!
The sunset was spectacular with the golden hour light reflecting off the water. The crew we great and very helpful meeting everyone’s needs, only missed using the sails but we cannot control the weather every day.
A really nice experience with welcoming crew and blankets as it was windy out to sea. Good choice of music and vibe was happy.
Great trip, seen some while Life also , team Are great , bit cloudy but the guys made it work , fantastic job
Great evening activity to enjoy the beauty of Cape Town., Table Mountain and the sunset. Music is great and local sparking wine is delicious. Very much enjoyed it.
An excellent evening. We even saw some whales. A good time was had by all. Had a couple of glasses of bubbly.
I did this sunset tour, expecting it to just be the opportunity to take some photos from the sea - but it was literally soooooooo fun and such a great experience! The atmosphere is so friendly and it's very clear that the crew want you to have the best time - and they really put effort into making sure that's the case. AND we did see a whale - which was an added bonus I wasn't really expecting. You get served two glasses of sparkling wine during the cruise - which is enough for 90 minutes. And it was lovely to watch the sun set over Cape Town while enjoying the wine. The boat was a bit crowded, although everyone had a seat, but it did make moving around the boat more challenging. I think the boat holds a capacity of 45 and I would say we were close to that. All in all though, a really great experience that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
We loved the experience, a trip with a sailboat is a real adventure. Nice view and a perfect sunset. The crew was very handsome and kind. Well done.
Fantastic experience, had a really lovely time, the guys were so helpful & friendly. Highly recommended 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Team was attentive, warm and full of information. Champagne flowed and was tasty. Made sure we saw the best sunset ever.
An amazing crew that made the experience informative and entertaining. Sailing is different and adds a unique element to the cruise.
We had a lovely time on the Spirit of Victoria, drinking sparkling wine, chatting to fellow guests and watching the most stunning of sunsets from the beauty of the water. I was glad to be on a trip where there was not a 'party' atmosphere! The trip was civilised, gentle and calm with some chilled music and it was perfect for us (maybe we are old-fashioned!) A perfect end to our stay in CT. And our captain, Lucky, was great!
The views were excellent and the crew was very helpful. It's definitely a good idea to bring a jacket to protect from the wind and the spray, which can pick up quickly on the water, even if it's calm at the harbor. The sunset views were well worth it, even though I got a bit damp and cold, and the crew provided blankets to help with the chill.
Booked a sunset sailing on the Spirit of Victoria, but when I showed up to board I was informed that the Spirit of Victoria wouldn't be going out and that I'd be on the Escape Cat instead. The catamaran was packed and played loud, party-like music...and a group of 'influencers' monopolized the 'best shots' to the point that other guests had to ask them to move so that they could get a photo. Not at all what I had planned on for my evening. At least the sunset was pretty. Wish that the company would have informed me of the change in advance so that I could have cancelled my booking and gone out with one of the other companies (there are many right there along the dock to choose from) that did take out their sail boats that evening.
We had an absolutely fabulous time. Boat was perfect. The crew were very professional and polite. We had a stunning sunset, which we enjoyed watching a glass of sparkling wine. Would definitely recommend to others.
This was a last minute plan and it was so great. We were reuniting with old friends from CT so the loud party music was a little invasive but the rest of the crowd loved it. We had a 9 and 13yo with us and they enjoyed it. The view was spectacular and the crew exceedingly patient. The vibe was more “party” than “evening cruise” but that may have been a result of the engagement that happened on our tour. (Yay!) Really beautiful evening. Would definitely recommend.
Very nice big sailing boat, nice crew and great views - just the the sparkling wine could be better. And if you want anything else except sparkling wine you have to pay. In the wind, the boat lies a bit to the side, but was still absolutely ok. Very nice activity for a first evening in Capetown, would definitely do it again!
It was really beautiful and the view of Table Mountain and Cape Town as well as the sunset are phenomenal. The crew was also really friendly! Only the music was a little excessive for my taste, but somehow it was also funny :) 😅 Thank you very much for the great day
The sailboat is a very beautiful SLOOP. The crew set all the sail they could. So we sailed under full rigging. That is not a matter of course. You often experience it differently. We were only 11 of 45 possible passengers. The crew was motivated and very friendly nonetheless. Frank
Nice trip with a very nice crew. The boat is not the nicest, but at least we sailed a little bit. Attention to all those sensitive to the cold: There is no indoor area, so dress warmly if needed.
After the trip out of the harbour, the sails were set and we could enjoy the beautiful view of Cape Town in pleasant wind without an engine. The crew was extremely friendly and in a good mood. There was plenty of space and we were able to photograph it from different places on boat.
