Cape Point & Boulders Beach Penguins Full-day Tour From Cape Town

This tour was very well planned and expertly executed. Communication the day before the tour was clear and helpful. Our guide, Guyon, was absolutely fantastic! He is very knowledgeable and passionate, and just a wonderful person all around. He is also quite skilled at spotting wildlife. Guyon’s instructions at each stop were clear and we were given enough time everywhere we went. The restaurant he chose for our lunch was very nice, far superior to most in heavy tourist areas. The scenery along the way was phenomenal. This tour is a must for anyone in Cape Town for only a short stay. It added so much to my Cape Town experience! Most stops are in very windy areas, so bring appropriate clothing.

Hello Nellan, I would like to thank you for the tour service provided today. The punctuality and cleanliness of the vehicle were positive points, and the places we visited were also incredible. However, I would like to report one negative aspect regarding the service provided by our guide, Guyon. He seemed to be in a bad mood during the tour. He spoke very quietly and sometimes appeared irritated when we asked questions. He also did not seem concerned about making sure that everyone in the group received the information and understood the schedule. Another detail that I consider more serious is that he seemed to direct most of his attention and information towards the German group that was travelling with us, while we, along with the other Brazilian tourists, often felt left out. Personally, I had the impression that he did not like Brazilians. There were other Brazilians in the group, and they all had a similar general impression of the situation. I could mention other details, but I believe that the points mentioned above are sufficient. All the other guides we have had during our trip made an effort to ensure that we had a good experience, but unfortunately, this guide Guyon did not seem to make the same effort. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration and look for ways to improve the experience for future tourists, so that they do not feel the way we did. Great tour of the Cape. Keren was knowledgeable and organized. She provided interesting information about the area.

It was a miserable weather day--wind so strong trees were coming down and rain often blowing sideways. But our driver/guide, Armando, made our trip fun and great nevertheless. He was very knowledgeable, funny and accommodating and did his best to minimize our time walking to the vehicle in poor weather. Seeing the penguins, even in the worst weather, made it all worthwhile.

Our driver Patrick was perfect for the job; he arrived promptly and was extremely welcoming from the first contact; he was very enthusiastic and made the tour memorable for me and my wife. The pace of the tour is perfect I would describe it as chilled, yet efficient. The places we visited were all top quality and the time spent at locations were exactly the right amount of time needed. I would highly advise to anyone who wishes to witness Cape Town’s beauty to go through this company. Our guide, Patrick delivered us a most memorable day and was extremely professional through the entire tour.

We had the most fantastic day. The coast and the views were amazing. Such a beautiful area. Our driver and guide, Patrick, was brilliant and the company were so helpful in sorting out our booking.

Definitely recommended! We were a small group of 5 so that was great. Our driver/guide Lucadel arranged all tickets/spots in advance so we didn’t have to queue anywhere. Lunch was lovely (own expense), all was on time, as planned, and pleasant. Incredible value for money, too.

After choosing the pick-up destination offered of the Cruise Terminal, I was asked to go a hotel 15 minutes away. After complaint, pick-up was on the street entrance to the terminal and half-hour late. Then, I was given no choice regarding the penguin visit at extra cost, when meanwhile I could have walked around historic Simon Town for free.

The tour was well planned. Our guide was Keren Nimi and she was just amazing. Very engaging, well versed in history and took us through point by point with excellence. She certainly is an expert at it.

The guide/driver, Guyon was very knowledgeable and take time to explan the culture and history of the Cape. We were lucky to see wild ostrich and baboons.

Whenever a tour guide spends time taking us back to complexities in the history of the land in this case 400+ years it means there is dedication to the task ahead. I sat up straight throughout the full day tour trying to understand every word. Guyon had my attention. And it gets better till the end. Apart from a couple of negative initial first impressions eg bus was a little cramped for 12 slim builds and the inside roof of the bus had marks that should have been cleaned it was a day well executed ended well. Pleasant, never rushed, polite and most importantly safe. A happy day! And thank you Guyon for being with us all the way.

Fantastic day trip throughout the Cape from Capetown. Out drive and guide Patrick is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, he made it a priority for the entire group to be sociable which really added to the enjoyment of the trip. He ensured to answer any questions the group had and showed us his favorite places along tw cape and the entire drive. Highly recommend this trip!

The tour was OUTSTANDING with lots of activities! The guide, KEREN NIMI was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant person, and that made the tour enjoyable and memorable. We enjoyed all the 10 hours visiting several natural and historical places. The lunch at a fresh seafood restaurant was icing on the cake. I have taken several tours like these around the world and this one is among the TOP!!!

Absolutely incredible day! The views were breathtaking and we were given just the right amount of time for each stop. Our tour guide Bizo was amazing! Very knowledgeable and made the whole experience seamless. Every stop was a highlight for me! Highly recommend this tour.

This was an amazing day, great value for money and Guyan our guide was simple fantastic. This is our first time to Cape Town and we were staying here for a few days before traveling onto Pilansberg for Safari. We always knew we would have limited time so needed to fit in as much in as we could. I was traveling with my wife and daughter and we booked this trip through Get your guide. Guyan, kept us informed of our hotel pick up time and was there just as he promised. It was an air conditioned mini van and there were 9 guests in total, so this felt ideal. Everyone on the trip were very friendly and we were from a wide range of nationalities. We had plenty of time at each stop and Guyan was such a friendly, funny and knowledgeable guide. He made the drive to each destination interesting and how he remembers all the facts and dates was simply amazing. There were so many things to mention but to summarise we visited Bo-Kaap, Muizenberg beach, stopped at an Ostirich farm, Cape of good hope, lighthouse walk. Simon’s Town, Boulders beach, Camps Bay, Chapmans peak. We saw numerous Baboons, wild Ostrich, African penguins and Hyrax. We had a lunch stop at Simon’s town and the restaurant food was delicious. Guyan managed to get us to all the destinations just at the right time before there were any crowds and this made a real difference. We all said as a family that this was one of the best things we could have done in the time we had and throughly enjoyed the day. Guyan is a true credit to this company and if we came back to Cape Town would 100% use him again. Thank you Matt, Sarah & Mia Uk

The key highlights of this tour (cape of good hope, table mountain, muizenberg beach etc) were amazing and picturesque. Guyon was our guide for the day and he was perfect - he gave us concise bite size historical background and other facts of key areas we drove past / visited, and he was excellent in ensuring we have adequate time to take in the views of each place despite having to cover quite a few places as part of the tour. Guyon’s friendly service attitude is highly commendable - request for him and you will have a fabulous journey too!

This tour is a fantastic way to see the Cape Peninsula in a short time. We visited Boulders Beach, Simon’s Town, the Cape of Good Hope, and more—all with stunning views and plenty of great photo opportunities. Our guide, Bizo, made the experience even better! He was funny, informative, and engaging, keeping the group entertained while sharing interesting facts along the way. The tour was well-organized and great value for money. Highly recommend, especially if you get Bizo as your guide!

Our Guide Bizo was great, safe driver, friendly and funny. Full of info about the locations we visited. This is fantastic value for money and a great day out. Penguins, ostrich, antelope all seen on reserve. Don't miss it.

The tour was amazing. We got to see so many places in just one day. I loved seeing the seals and pinguins, but also the amazing views from the cape of good hope and from the cape point. Our guide Guyon was really nice and we learned a lot from him. I can only recommend the tour.

Guyon is a great guide. He is one of the best tour guides we've met. He kept explaining things and the significance of each site throughout the tour.

Guyon was our guide for the day and made the experience extra special with his patience and excellent knowledge of the history of Cape Town and surrounding areas. He was also a very good driver and even help us take photos of the lovely coastline. We shall definitely choose him on future visits.

The all day tour took in the various sites we wanted to visit. Cape Point was stunning g and luckily we saw Babion and Ostrich. Boulders Beach I first visited in the mid 90s and great to see the penguins thrive . We were on a small group tour and our guide Guyon was knowledgeable and throughout the day was informative. He took care of the varying needs of each of the group and gave us clear timings at each stop as we took in many different parts of the tour. We enjoyed the day and Guyon made it inclusive and interesting.

Guyon was amazing!! The tour in itself turned out to be more than i had expected. I enjoyed hearing about the history of capetown. From the views to the chatting I'm car everything just made the experience an amazing one and would love to do it again!

I got the moment I was looking for on a rock ledge hanging out over the cape. I wish we were allotted more time for this part as the views were amazing. Penguins were amazing and Jean Luc (tour guide) was great

Everything was perfect! Well organised, small group, comfortable mini bus. We had a great tour with our guide Guyon exploring the Cape Peninsula! The pick-up from our accommodation was convenient and the vibes in the minivan were good from the very beginning. The group size was ideal. There was a good amount of photo stops along the way to capture the stunning scenery as well as stops at a selected coffee shop, bakery, ice cream shop and seafood restaurant to fuel up. We enjoyed seeing not just the penguins at Boulders Beach but also wild ostriches and baboons at Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Highly recommend this tour and thanks again to Guyon for making everyone feel comfortable and sharing your local knowledge with us.

We booked our Peninsula Tour with Guyon last minute and yet the communication prior and the pick-up went very smoothly. Guyon is friendly, supportive and extremely knowledgeable. He is a safe driver, too. He did everything to create an unforgettable day for us…despite afternoon rains. In 10hrs we visited Bo Kap, Muizenberg, stopped at False Bay, Cape Point and the lighthouse, visited the Penguins close to Boulder Beach and drove the Chapmans Peak. Furthermore we had an excellent lunch stop in Simons Town, where we enjoyed the local fish. If you want to see as much as possible in one day, than this tour is for you!

Wow what a fantastic trip, there was no way that we could have seen so much or even understood what we were looking at. The wildlife, the animals, the places of history and culture we visited were amazing and our brilliant guide Guyon was so knowledgeable about it all. We had a great trip with our guide Guyon. There were 7 different nationalities on the trip who got on really well. Guyon kept us informed of the places we visited and kept us on time, ahead of the crowds . We saw everyone we expected to see and sufficient time at each. It was good to share lunch together which also saved us having to find places individually to eat. All in all a great trip, with a good atmosphere.
