Weve had not one but Two very very good day-trips with our Guide Eli! We had only booked one Trip but enjoyed it so much that we asked him for a different Tour (Townships) for the VERY NEXT DAY. Eli Just Said 'no problem', organized everything basically over Night and made it work! Amazing Guy :D Both tours were very informative, you can basically ask him anything, and He is always at your assistance! He beat any traffic, and all the other tours and busses, so we never had to wait anywhere (ofc he cant guarantee that in main saison I would assume) but we got spoiled :) He drives very safe and calm, gave many recommendations and adivce about anything capetown and stayed with us during the township-tour which made us feel safe. Both tours (Penguins,cape etc & the Township Tour through langa) are recommendations to get a very 'complete' Impression of capetown. Its a challenging time for capetown (as for the rest of the world but very concentrated and visual here) with loads of social Dilemmas and struggles with no easy solutions. The best we as Tourist can do seems to be educating us with the help and guidance of true locals like Eli, who loves his city in the best way possible! Thank you so much again! Chris was the guide on our very first trip to South Africa, the Cape of Good Hope and the surrounding cities. He did an outstanding job of explaining the development of the area, the history of the Cape (including the significance of Vasco Da Gama's discovery of the first direct maritime route between Europe and India), Chapman's Peak, Cape Point Nature Reserve, Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, Bantry Bay, a really great seafood restaurant and a number of other remarkable sites. Not only was the driving tour full of interesting and timely information, but Chris also explained the evolution of the current society including the influences of apartheid and subsequent hope for the future driven by the young and hopeful South African population. It was a marvelous all day trip to a fascinating and gorgeous part of South Africa, that allowed us the real privilege of meeting and knowing a marvelously funny, well educated and charming young man. Our guide, Eli, was one of the best we've ever had for a tour guide! He was punctual and patient, since I made a mistake on my end and caused him to be late getting started. Yet, he was still very gracious. He was extremely knowledgeable, funny and went over and beyond in taking us around, offering great shopping tips for specific things we asked for, and was just an all-around professional driver and guide. We highly recommend him and the company...the sign-up and payment process were easy and quick. The whole experience from start to finish was an absolute pleasure for us, and contributed to the success of our first trip to the continent!

I had so much fun on this tour! MY friend runs the company and invited me to join some tourists from overseas. The guide was friendly and the day was so well organized. We saw the penguins at Boulders Beach and Cape Point - both were stunning. You can tell they really care about giving visitors a great experience. Highly recommend

The day of our guide reached out via WhatsApp to confirm pickup time. She herself was very kind and helpful, however I wish she had been able to provide us with more information about the places that we were visiting. The places we visited were great and must-sees. Communication in advance from the company itself was not good. I reached out a couple of times both via Viator message and a phone call and got no responses. I was nervous that we would have some complication as friends did the same tour the day before and were picked up 1.5 hours late, however our guide arrived on time.

Great experience for everyone who hasnt got an own car or much time in capetown. In 9h you will see so many different places for a good prize. The tour guide will provide you with further Information during the entire tour and his humorous way made this trip very special

We had a fantastic day out seeing some amazing scenery and the added bonus of getting close to Ostriches and Baboons as well as thr really cute Penguins. Elia was our guide and he was really informative and funny. He had the foresight reversed the usual order due to the early mist which often affects Cape Town, which meant that we missed the large crowds at the Penguin beach and Cape Point. He also recommended lunch at Mama Africa which was lovely and a chance to sample authentic African food. A great day out.

We had an incredible Time. We came from Switzerland to visit Cap Town. Elijah was an amazing guide and made us feel welcomed and safe . I highly recommand it.

Overall, a good trip but some negatives, one in particular potentially serious. To start with, there was a mix-up over the pick-up: we had a message from Elie, our tour guide late the previous evening saying we had to meet him in Cape Town, contradicting the previous arrangement that he would pick us up from our hotel ( the Beach Lagoon, Milnerton). After checking his paperwork, he agreed we were correct and picked us up (20 minutes late) at our hotel as arranged, but there were further mix-ups with the pick-up venues/times for the three other passengers which meant we were 45 minutes late before we set off. On the plus side, Elie (our guide) had decided to do the tour of the southern capes in reverse to avoid the weekend queues, so we went to Simonstown to see the penguins first, then straight on to the National Park to see Cale Point and the Cape of Good Hope etc. This was such a good plan because on our return journey, the queues to enter the National Park were over a mile long… Our guide was very knowledgeable, ‘though he did speak very quickly with a heavy accent so it was not always easy to hear what he said.Also, I’m not a fan of the tour guide being the driver with his concentration being divided between the two tasks, particularly as his driving seemed slightly reckless, and the whole trip seeming rushed having started 45 minutes late. The reversal of the route meant that the lunch stop would not happen until 2 pm ( the day having begun at 7-45 am) and the plan to stop at Simonstown a second time for lunch was changed, with us eventually arriving back in Cape Town for lunch at 3 pm, with one final visit ( the Bocarp houses) to follow lunch. Elie told us he’d arranged lunch at ‘Mamma Africa’ in order to give us the “true African experience” although we discovered that he was on familiar terms with the staff there; he did say it was not just because it was his favourite place… My wife and I chose ‘hard-body’ chicken - a sort of chicken consommé but on arrival the chicken itself was just bone, skin and gristle, not really edible to be honest. We did enjoy the trip overall - the info we learned was interesting and the scenery - especially the lighthouse at Cape Point, was outstanding, and breathtaking in its beauty, but at the “Mama Africa” restaurant ( with some driving still to do) we were shocked when our driver Elie drank a large glass of wine at the table, telling us one drink was permissible. On the way to the loo later, I noticed him chatting to friends with another drink, although I was not sure whether this was alcoholic or not. Whether legal or not, we would question a driver’s judgment in drinking, still with passengers to drive to the final destination.

It was a great trip, perfectly balanced. Good guide with sense of humour ! We were lucky to avoid the crowds and enjoyed the whole day.

Fantastic tour! Elie is very knowledgeable, speaks so many languages fluently and was very attentive! We enjoyed our tour, well organised and covered lots of good spots. I 100% recommend Elie and this excursion in particular.

Elijah was my tour guide on this trip. There was some mistake in the system but he communicated on time and made alternative arrangements. He was extremely informative, funny, very accommodating throughout the trip. He did not rush at any of the sites and was very thoughtful in the way he drove us to the various sites. We got to all the attractions before the crowds arrived. Definitely 5 stars for this trip! Thank you Elley!

Our guide Annie was amazing! Very knowledgeable and we covered all of the sites in one day. Very memorable day trip travelling along the most beautiful coastal road. We booked late the night before so had not booked the tickets for Cape Point and Boulders beach. Annie paid with her card and we paid her in cash on return to the hotel. Such good value for money compared to other companies, there were 2 other groups of 2 of the bus which was a great number and we ate lunch altogether at Boulders Beach. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

I wish I could give it less than one star because it didn’t happen. Horrible experience with this company. Booked for me and my adult son. Morning of pickup I received a message on WhatsApp asking if he could cancel due to not enough ppl booking or he would prefer us to go a different day. I to him NO because I had something already booked for the next day and that was my last day in Cape Town. He never messaged back.I called No answer. Called again because we had a 8am scheduled pick up (mind you this is all taken place at 7:50 AM). he sound like he was still asleep. He said he would not be able to accommodate us and he would send refund. This was very unprofessional. If he requires a certain amount of people to book on the same day to move forward with the tour, it should be stated to give people an option. With this taken place at 8 AM. (at the time the tour was supposed to start.) it made it very difficult to go with a different company. I did message him back, expressing how displeased I was because you had to pay entry fee for two of the places we were stopping at which I purchased online. He told me he would just buy the tickets from me. (not sure how he was going to meet me to purchase tickets but not meet me to pick me up on time for a tour that I booked.) I never received funds confirmation. After reaching out to him again, letting him know that I contact. Viator he then sent refund confirmations. We ended up just taking uber to all the places listed so you would not miss out on some of the must see locations when coming to Cape Town. Which cost a lot more money.

The tour is good, penguins are amazing. Great scenic views. Diver knowledgeable. He chose a lovely African restaurant. Be aware entry fees are expensive!

Ellie was the perfect guide and knew exactly how to conduct the tour in such a way that we avoided the traffic. The explanations during the tour was excellent as well as the transport. Everything was perfect.

A fabulous trip. Angel was our guide and took us around the spectacular peninsula . A smooth drive, ending in a lovely restaurant in town and Bo-Kaap neighborhood. She was fantastic integrating the members of our gruop in conversation about the sites we visited as well as taking photos of us.

Enoch took us through the itinerary, kept the whole ride fun and effortless. He shared info along the way without making it feel like a school lesson, and honestly—he’s just a fun guy. I was solo on this tour, but he made sure I never felt left out, clicked plenty of pics, and kept everyone included. The lunch spot he picked was superb too. Overall, a great experience—10/10!

The experience was amazing! Our guide and driver was superb. Even though it was busy season, he managed to get us to places and they were not crowded. Gave us history of Cape Town and South Africa as a whole. He recommended a very nice restaurant for lunch and the zebra burger was really good. I’d definitely recommend Elie

A very well planned and perfectly executed day tour covering Boulders beach (Lots of penguins) , cape of good hope, seeing wildlife (species of antelope, ostrich, baboons), multiple different areas of Cape Town. Our guide Eli was exceptional and had so much knowledge. He told us so much about the history of Cape Town and all the places we visited, he was happy to answer all our questions too. Very well planned day and had a great time.

We spent an unforgettable day exploring the Cape Peninsula and it was made even more special thanks to our incredible guide Angel. Her warmth, insight, and seamless planning turned a scenic tour into a truly memorable experience. Our adventure kicked off in Hout Bay, where we cruised out to Duiker Island to see the lively colony of Cape fur seals. Watching them dive and sunbathe against the backdrop of rugged cliffs was a perfect start. From there, we drove along the legendary Chapman's Peak Drive, with its dramatic ocean views and cliffside curves. Angel knew all the best photo stops and shared stories that made the landscape come alive. Next, we headed to Simon's Town to visit the famous African penguins at Boulders Beach. These charming little birds waddled right past us, and we even caught a few diving into the turquoise waves. The highlight of the day was standing at the Cape of Good Hope, the southwestern tip of Africa. With crashing waves, windswept cliffs, and panoramic views, it felt like the edge of the world. Angel made sure we had time to soak it all in and even snapped a few great photos for us. From seals to penguins, peaks to capes, this day trip was a perfect blend of nature, wildlife, and awe-inspiring scenery.
